Abstract: Water treatment systems including electrically-driven and pressure-driven separation apparatus configured to produce a first treated water suitable for use as irrigation water and a second treated water suitable for use as potable water from one of brackish water and saline water and methods of operation of same.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing quasi-licensed spectrum access within an area or venue. In one embodiment, the quasi-licensed spectrum utilizes 3.5 GHz CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) spectrum allocated by a Federal or commercial SAS (Spectrum Access System) to a managed content delivery network that includes one or more wireless access nodes (e.g., CBSDs and APs) in data communication with a controller. In one variant, the controller dynamically allocates (i) spectrum within the area or venue within CBRS bands, and (ii) MSO users or subscribers to CBRS bands or WLAN (e.g., public ISM) bands in to manage interference between the coexisting networks, and maximize user experience. In another variant, the controller cooperates with a provisioning server to implement a client device application program or “app” on MSO user or subscriber client devices which enables inter-RAT access.

Abstract: A base station may transmit a report mask indicating a transmission of a layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) report limited to a time period when a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer is running for a wireless device. The base station may receive the L1-RSRP from the wireless device at a first time, in response to the DRX timer running at a predefined time period before the first time. The received L1-RSRP report may include an L1-RSRP value and a reference signal index associated with the L1-RSRP value. At second time, the base station may skip a reception of a configured L1-RSRP report transmission from the wireless device in response to the DRX timer not running at the predefined time period before the second time and the report mask.
Abstract: An egg carton and method and apparatus for forming an egg carton. A main body of the egg carton may be made of a single sheet of material and folded or otherwise bent to form the majority of the carton's interior space. Partition walls may be engaged with slots formed in the main body to define separate storage areas of the interior space as well as help hold the main body in the desired configuration. Hooks on the sides of the partition walls may engage with openings in the main body to secure the main body to the partition walls.

Abstract: A system for noise profile generation includes a customer gateway communicatively coupled to one or more end devices over a communication medium, at least one noise information node communicatively coupled to the customer gateway and programmed to extract noise information present on a communication path from the customer gateway to at least one of the one or more end devices, a noise profile database storing one or more noise profiles, and a noise profile generator. The noise profile generator includes at least one processor and non-transitory computer readable media having a set of instructions executable by the at least one processor to retrieve the extracted noise information associated with the communication path, determine whether the at least one noise characteristic of the extracted noise information matches with one or more noise profiles and identify at least one noise source on the communication path.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided to generate instructions and share video content following an impact event. They include detecting an impact event associated with a vehicle and transmitting a request to at least one video recording device within an area of interest from the vehicle. They further include receiving video content captured within a time period around the impact event from at least one video recording device. Methods and systems are also provided to generate useful information following an impact event including detecting an impact event associated with a vehicle and determining one or more contextual parameters associated with the impact event. They further include generating display content based on the one or more contextual parameters and displaying the generated display content on a screen within the vehicle.

Abstract: In a (5G CBRS) network having a (CBSD) base station communicating with a (SAS) bandwidth manager via a cable modem (CM), the CM maintains a long timer and a short timer for each bandwidth allocation to the CBSD. When the CM receives a heartbeat message from the CBSD, the CM re-starts the long and short timers and transmits the heartbeat message to the SAS. When the short timer expires, the CM re-starts the short timer and transmits a copy of the stored heartbeat message to the SAS. When the long timer expires, the CM stops transmitting a copy of the stored heartbeat message to the SAS. In this way, the CM effectively extends the time limit before the SAS will de-allocate bandwidth from the CBSD to handle situations where the CBSD is temporarily unable to send heartbeat messages to the SAS even though the CBSD still needs the allocated bandwidth.
