Upon determining that the vehicle is currently operating on the roadway for which the default lane is defined, a lane override command to select a target lane other than the default lane can be determined based on prior lane selections in the vehicle. A vehicle component can be actuated based on the target lane override command.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for automatic sharding and load balancing in a distributed data processing system. In one aspect, a method includes determining workload distribution for an application across worker computers and in response to determining a load balancing operation is required: selecting a first worker computer having a highest load measure relative to respective load measure of the other work computers; determining one or more move operations for a partition of data assigned to the first worker computer and a weight for each move operation; and selecting the move operation with a highest weight the selected move operation.

Abstract: A cartridge for an e-vaping device includes a reservoir configured to hold pre-vapor formulation, a vaporizer assembly configured to draw at least some of the pre-vapor formulation from the reservoir and vaporize the drawn pre-vapor formulation to form a vapor, and a superabsorbent polymer configured to absorb free water from pre-vapor formulation held in the reservoir. The superabsorbent polymer includes a cross-linked polyacrylate copolymer that is substantially inert to the pre-vapor formulation. The superabsorbent polymer may be included in a layer on one or more surfaces in the cartridge. The layer may include the superabsorbent polymer and a binder. The superabsorbent polymer may be included with the pre-vapor formulation in a formulation mixture. The superabsorbent polymer may be included in an interior of at least one element comprising the cartridge. The superabsorbent polymer may be included in a separate compartment in the reservoir.

The wireless device transmits, based on a second downlink RS and a listen-before-talk (LBT) type, an uplink signal during the first COT duration. The LBT type is determined among a first LBT type and a second LBT type based on whether the first downlink RS is the same as the second downlink RS.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein collect user data in real-time and organize them (e.g., using collaborative filtering) into groups (e.g., clusters). The system then determines statistical distributions of observed real-time intents (e.g., based on actual selections made by users) for each group. The system then merges this distribution with existing model predictions (e.g., a model trained on historical training data) to balance between historical and dynamically updated information.

Abstract: A location based consumer interface for retail environments includes a plurality of data packet generators distributed around a retail store. The data packet generators include a wireless communication device and are configured to wirelessly transmit codes to mobile computing devices in the retail store. The codes are received by the mobile computing devices, and can be used to present promotional or other content to the consumer, such as content related to the consumer's current location within the store. The codes can also be used for other purposes, such as for use as part of a store rewards program. In some embodiments a vendor is charged a fee for presentation of the content to the consumer.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods of artificial intelligent based provision of digital content where and when the digital content is needed based upon where a user is located and a purpose for accessing the content as well as credentials of a user seeking to access the digital content. Persistent digital content is linked to location coordinates. More specifically, the present invention links a physical onsite location with digital content to enable a user interface with augmented reality that combines aspects of the physical area with location specific digital content. In addition, access to digital content may be limited to users in defined access areas.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods of forming graphene-containing microcapsules, which may include steps of providing a graphene-containing precursor, combining the graphene-containing precursor with a drying oil such that the drying oil is intercalated within the graphene-containing precursor to form a graphene-containing aggregate, adding the graphene-containing aggregate to an aqueous solution comprising an emulsifier, and adding an encapsulating agent to form graphene-containing microcapsules. The graphene-containing microcapsules of the present disclosure may be used in numerous applications including in self-healing materials.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for detecting anomalous access to system resources. An anomaly detection system may access system events from one or more computing devices and may generate entries from the system events. Each entry may include a corresponding timestamp indicating a time when a corresponding system event occurred, a corresponding user identifier indicating a user account within a computing environment associated with the corresponding system event, a corresponding location identifier indicating a location within the computing environment, and a corresponding action identifier indicating an action that the user account performed with respect to the location or an object within the computing environment. The generated entries may be aggregated and input into an anomaly detection model to obtain anomalous activity identified by the model.

Abstract: A new processing architecture is described that utilizes a data processing unit (DPU). Unlike conventional compute models that are centered around a central processing unit (CPU), the DPU that is designed for a data-centric computing model in which the data processing tasks are centered around the DPU. The DPU may be viewed as a highly programmable, high-performance I/O and data-processing hub designed to aggregate and process network and storage I/O to and from other devices. The DPU comprises a network interface to connect to a network, one or more host interfaces to connect to one or more application processors or storage devices, and a multi-core processor with two or more processing cores executing a run-to-completion data plane operating system and one or more processing cores executing a multi-tasking control plane operating system. The data plane operating system is configured to support software functions for performing the data processing tasks.
