  • Patent number: 11975630
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for updating of a machine learning model on a vehicle. A data processing system having at least one processor coupled with memory can predict a first value for a characteristic of the vehicle based at least on a model and measure a second value for the characteristic of the vehicle based at least on a sensor of the vehicle. The data processing system can determine a difference between the first value predicted based at least on the model and the second value measured is greater than a tolerance. The data processing system can identify a state of the vehicle associated with the difference between the first value and the second value and provide, in response to the difference determined greater than the tolerance, the state of the vehicle to a server remote from the vehicle to update the model.

  • Patent number: 11977440
Abstract: A system includes an on-board electronic device of an autonomous vehicle, and a computer-readable medium having one or more programming instructions. The system receives one or more forecast messages pertaining to a track, where each of the forecast messages includes a unique identifier associated with the track, and receives one or more inference messages pertaining to the track, where each of the inference messages includes the unique identifier. The system aggregates the one or more forecast messages and the one or more inference messages to generate a message set, and applies a set of processing operations to the message set to generate a feedback message. The system identifies one or more events from the feedback message, automatically generates an annotation for one or more of the events that is identified, and embeds the generated annotations in an event log for the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11975742
Abstract: Methods of refining a planned trajectory of an autonomous vehicle are disclose. For multiple cycles as the vehicle moves along the trajectory, the vehicle will perceive nearby objects. The vehicle will use the perceived object data to calculate a set of candidate updated trajectories. The motion planning system will measure a discrepancy between each candidate updated trajectory and the current trajectory by: (i) determining waypoints along each trajectory; (ii) determining distances between at least some of the waypoints; and (iii) using the distances to measure the discrepancy between the updated trajectory and the current trajectory. The system will use the discrepancy to select, from the set of candidate updated trajectories, a final updated trajectory for the vehicle to follow.

  • Patent number: 11978880
Abstract: A method for forming a layered anode material includes contacting a precursor material and a first electrolyte. The precursor material is a layered ionic compound represented by MX2, where M is one of calcium and magnesium and X is one of silicon, germanium, and boron. The method further includes applying a first bias and/or current as the precursor material contacts the first electrolyte to remove cations from the precursor material to create a two-dimensional structure that defines the layered anode material. In certain variations, the method further includes contacting the two-dimensional structure and a second electrolyte and applying a second bias and/or current as the two-dimensional structure contacts the second electrolyte so as to cause lithium ions to move into interlayer spaces or voids created in the two-dimensional structure by the removal of the cations thereby forming the layered anode material.

  • Patent number: 11977527
Abstract: In certain embodiments, machine learning and lineage data may be used to manage data. In some embodiments, a computing system may use lineage data to identify two datasets that may be related. The computing system may determine that a user has access to a derivative dataset but does not have access to an original dataset that was used to create the derivative dataset. In response, the computing system may use a machine learning model to generate a similarity score indicating a level of similarity between the original dataset and the derivative dataset. If the similarity score satisfies a threshold score, the computing system may modify access rights of the user so that the user is unable to access a portion of the data in the derivative dataset.
