The wireless device determines radio resources of one or more random access channel (RACH) occasions (ROs) of the slot based on the at least one random access symbol. The wireless device transmits a preamble via the radio resources of the one or more ROs.

A door is disposed on the kennel body proximate the door opening. The door is pivotally moveable between an open position and a closed position. A latch is disposed on the door. A drain recess is defined in the rear wall of the kennel body, and a removable drain plug may be positioned in the drain recess. A moat is defined in the kennel body floor to collect water off the floor of the kennel body.
Abstract: A control device of a bicycle includes an actuator and a first controller. The first controller is configured to generate and transmit, from the first controller to a second controller of the bicycle, messages for a predetermined time period at a first transmission rate in response to activation of the actuator. The first controller is further configured to, after the predetermined period of time, generate and transmit, from the first controller to the second controller, one or more messages at a second transmission rate until the actuator is deactivated. The first transmission rate is greater than the second transmission rate, and each of the messages includes data identifying the activation of the actuator.

Abstract: This invention provides processes and systems for converting biomass into high carbon biogenic reagents that are suitable for a variety of commercial applications. Some embodiments employ pyrolysis in the presence of an inert gas to generate hot pyrolyzed solids, condensable vapors, and non-condensable gases, followed by separation of vapors and gases, and cooling of the hot pyrolyzed solids in the presence of the inert gas. Additives may be introduced during processing or combined with the reagent, or both. The biogenic reagent may include at least 70 wt %, 80 wt %, 90 wt %, 95 wt %, or more total carbon on a dry basis. The biogenic reagent may have an energy content of at least 12,000 Btu/lb, 13,000 Btu/lb, 14,000 Btu/lb, or 14,500 Btu/lb on a dry basis. The biogenic reagent may be formed into fine powders, or structural objects.
Abstract: A 3D conversation system can facilitate 3D conversations in an augmented reality environment, allowing conversation participants to appear as if they are face-to-face. The 3D conversation system can accomplish this with a pipeline of data processing stages, which can include calibrate, capture, tag and filter, compress, decompress, reconstruct, render, and display stages. Generally, the pipeline can capture images of the sending user, create intermediate representations, transform the representations to convert from the orientation the images were taken from to a viewpoint of the receiving user, and output images of the sending user, from the viewpoint of the receiving user, in synchronization with audio captured from the sending user. Such a 3D conversation can take place between two or more sender/receiving systems and, in some implementations can be mediated by one or more server systems. In various configurations, stages of the pipeline can be customized based on a conversation context.
Abstract: A memory device includes a semiconductor channel, a gate electrode, and a stack located between the semiconductor channel and the gate electrode. The stack includes, from one side to another, a first ferroelectric material portion, a second ferroelectric material portion, and a gate dielectric portion that contacts the semiconductor channel.
Abstract: An aeronautical apparatus is disclosed that has two pairs of wings: an aft pair and a fore pair. Each wing has a thrust-angle motor. An assembly is coupled to each thrust-angle motor. Assemblies coupled to the fore wings have a propeller motor with a propeller and a landing element which is a wheel or a landing foot. When in forward flight, the propeller rotational axis is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage and the landing element is pointing toward the aft of the aeronautical apparatus to limit the drag presented by the landing element. When in vertical flight or hovering, the propeller rotational axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the fuselage and the landing element is deployed downward to facilitate landing.
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes a fuselage, a pair of wings attached to the fuselage, and a propulsion system mounted to the wings to provide propulsion to the UAV. The fuselage has an outer fuselage shell that is a first mechanical support structure for an airframe of the UAV. The pair of wings is attached to the fuselage and shaped to provide aerodynamic lift. The wings have outer wing shells that are second mechanical support structures for the airframe. The outer fuselage shell or the outer wing shells comprise one or more formed-metal sheets.
Abstract: According to examples, a host device may be instructed to pre-spawn a number of first host processes and a number of second host processes, in which the number of first host processes and the number of second host processes are defined in a first scaling constraint and are each greater than or equal to one. The host device may pre-spawn the second host processes in one or more computing nodes through identification of a host process of the first host processes that is unbound from a client session, termination of the identified host process, and pre-spawning of a second host process that provides a second version of the service based on the termination. The host device may also decrease the number of first host processes and increase the number of second host processes in the one or more computing nodes as defined in a second scaling constraint.

Abstract: A light detection and ranging (LIDAR) system can emit light toward an environment and detect responsively reflected light to determine a distance to one or more points in the environment. The reflected light can be detected by a plurality of plurality of photodiodes that are reverse-biased using a high voltage. Signals from the plurality of reverse-biased photodiodes can be amplified by respective transistors and applied to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The signal from a particular photodiode can be applied to the ADC by biasing a respective transistor corresponding to the particular photodiode while not biasing transistors corresponding to other photodiodes. The gain of each photodiode/transistor pair can be controlled by adjusting the bias voltage applied to each photodiode using a digital-to-analog converter. The gain of each photodiode/transistor pair can be controlled based on the detected temperature of each photodiode.

Abstract: A vehicle apparatus charges and sanitizes a mobile device. The mobile device has an inductive power receiver coil for wireless charging. A storage bin in the vehicle (such as a center console or a glove compartment) has a movable lid. A tray of the charging/sanitizing apparatus is adapted to receive a side surface of the mobile device so that a majority of the side surface is suspended from the tray by a gap. A first wireless power link is configured to inductively charge the mobile device from the tray to the power receiver coil. A plurality of ultraviolet emitters are disposed at a plurality of locations inside the storage bin to illuminate an exterior of the mobile device when the movable lid is closed. At least some of the ultraviolet emitters are also inductively powered.
