Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for dynamic network resiliency, such as by monitoring and controlling the configuration of one or more network components to ensure proper endpoint alignment, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a tool (e.g., resiliency agent) that can automatically recognize symptoms of issues with a network component, such as autoscaling, latency, traffic spikes, resource utilization spikes, etcetera, and respond appropriately to ensure continued and optimized operation of the network component. In many embodiments, the tool may dynamically reroute endpoint traffic, perform traffic balancing, and/or drive autoscaling to optimize operation of the network component in response to recognizing symptoms.

Abstract: A flexible flap coupled to the bottom of a cleaning tool is designed to have a distal end that contacts the floor and scrapes along the floor as the cleaning tool is moved across the floor in order to help guide debris into a catch tray. The flexible flap also has a design such that the distal end can curl inwards after interaction with an obstacle (e.g., recess or protrusion of the floor surface) and continue to move across the floor picking up debris, even after the distal end of the flexible flap has been curled.

Abstract: A data processing system obtains source textual content associated with a first writing style and target textual content associated with a second writing style and provides the source textual content as an input to a first machine learning model which analyzes the source content to determine the first writing style of the first textual content. The system provides an indication of the first writing style and the target textual content as an input to a second machine learning model which analyzes the target textual content and rewrites the target textual content according to the first writing style to output updated target textual content rewritten according to the first writing style. Some implementations utilize a single model trained to receive the source textual content, the target textual content, to determine the writing style of the source textual content and rewrite the target textual content according to the first writing style.

Abstract: A turbine blade includes a root, tip, and airfoil. The turbine blade defines a serpentine interior passage having first through third legs, and first and second junctions. The first leg receives pressurized gas from a supply channel of the root. The first leg extends radially and the first junction connects it to the second leg proximate the tip. The second leg extends radially between the first and second junctions. The second junction connects the second and third legs. The third leg extends radially toward the tip. The tip defines cooling apertures open through a pressure side thereof. The cooling apertures include a forward aperture with a forward end opening into the first junction and an aftward end opening through the pressure side surface of the tip at a location that is radially outward of the third leg and axially aftward of at least a portion of the third leg.

Abstract: A package includes a power electronics module disposed between a first bracket and a second bracket with the power electronics module covering openings in the first bracket and the second bracket. Leak-proof joints are formed between surfaces of the power electronics module and the first bracket and the second bracket. A first cover beam is disposed on, and joined to, the first bracket to enclose a first cooling fluid channel for cooling fluid flow over the power electronics module. A second cover beam is disposed on, and joined to, the second bracket to enclose a second cooling fluid channel for cooling fluid flow over the power electronics module. The package includes end connectors that have input and output ports for cooling fluid flow through the first cooling fluid channel and the second cooling fluid channel.

The wireless device selects based on the received access network type a non-access stratum period from a plurality of periods including a first value and a second value. Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for tracing data. A disclosed tracing system can receive a request to access original data. The request can be associated with access request metadata. The tracing system can generate a tracer based at least in part on the access request metadata and can generate an altered version of the first data by inserting the tracer into the original data. The tracing system can update a database or log file associated with the first data to include association information based on the access request metadata. The tracing system can then provide the altered version of the first data in response to the request.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a device, over a network, an order from a device of a user, the order including information indicating a current location of the user. The method may include determining, by the device, a geographical relationship between the current location and a plurality of restaurant locations, determining, by the device, a future pick-up time for the order based on the determined geographical relationship and/or traffic delays, determining, by the device, that a current time respective to the future pick-up time is within a threshold time period to the future pick-up time, and causing, by the device, a notification to be delivered to the restaurant, the notification including an indication that the received order is to be prepared.

Abstract: A capture vessel is provided that is configured to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) according to a thermal swing adsorption (TSA) process. The TSA process includes a cyclical sequence including at least a CO2 capture stage, a regeneration stage, and a cooling stage. The capture vessel includes capture media arranged inside the capture vessel, and an inter-exchanger arranged inside the capture vessel and thermally coupled to the capture media. The capture media are configured to adsorb CO2 from an exhaust gas during the CO2 capture stage to produce a nitrogen (N2) gas that exits the capture vessel. The inter-exchanger is configured to, during the CO2 capture stage, circulate a coolant within the capture vessel to regulate a temperature of the capture media.

Exemplary process involves removal of thio-based end groups from polymers prepared by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization of at least one monomer comprising at least one acryloyl moiety and at least one functionalized or unfunctionalized lactam moiety by exposing the polymer to visible radiation in a reaction medium devoid of any chemical reagent.

Abstract: A location assistance system includes a distress vehicle and multiple assistance vehicles. The distress vehicle broadcasts an emergency signal. The assistance vehicles are operable to receive the emergency signal, determine multiple distances to the distress vehicle, triangulate among the assistance vehicles to generate a spatial map of the distress vehicle relative to the assistance vehicles, determine one or more approximately horizontal lines in the spatial map that include the distress vehicle and at least one horizontally aligned assistance vehicle in response to the distress vehicle and the at least one horizontally aligned assistance vehicle being on a same vertical level in the spatial map, coordinate among the assistance vehicles to determine one or more horizontal sequences along the one or more approximately horizontal lines, and flash the of the assistance vehicles in the one or more horizontal sequences to lead toward the distress vehicle.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for monitoring and diagnosing power system assets. An example method may include triggering, by a gateway device and at a first time, a capture of a first waveform from a first intelligent electronic device (IED) associated with a first asset in a power system. The method may also include transmitting, by the gateway device, the capture of the waveform to a remote device. The method may also include extracting fault features from the first waveform corresponding to different failure modes associated with the asset of the power system. The method may also include determining, based on the features extracted from first waveform, that a fault of a first fault mode has occurred in the asset. The method may also include providing an alert that the fault has been identified, wherein the alert initiates or otherwise facilitates a control action in the power system.

Abstract: A petroleum coke carbon capture and sequestration method is provided which includes processing the petroleum coke into a petroleum coke particulate, preparing a slurry including the petroleum coke particulate, and injecting the slurry into an underground area. The underground area could be a live crude oil extraction well, where it could displace crude oil, an underground storage facility, a salt formation, or the like.

Abstract: A seal section for use in a downhole submersible pumping system includes a lower chamber, an upper chamber and an intermediate guide section between the lower chamber and the upper chamber. The lower chamber includes a seal bag assembly that has a seal bag containing motor oil and an exterior space around the seal bag that contains high density oil that is denser than the motor oil. The upper chamber includes a volume of the high density oil at the bottom of the upper chamber and a gravity trap connected to the exterior space through an intermediate passage in the intermediate guide section. The gravity trap includes an opening submerged in the volume of high density oil in the upper chamber.

Abstract: A method for disaggregated cache memory for efficiency in distributed databases includes receiving, from a user device, a first query requesting first data be written to a distributed database. The distributed database includes a plurality of nodes each controlling writes to a respective portion of the distributed database and a distributed cache pool caching a subset of the distributed database independently from the plurality of nodes. The method includes writing, using one of the plurality of nodes, the first data to the distributed database. The method also includes receiving, from the user device, a second query requesting second data be read from the distributed database. The method further includes retrieving, from the distributed cache pool, the second data. The method includes providing, to the user device, the second data retrieved from the distributed cache pool.
