Abstract: A compute box includes a communication device and one or more processors. The one or more processors, in response to the communication device being electronically in communication with a flexible content presentation companion device and at least one other flexible content presentation companion device, determine a geometric configuration of each flexible content presentation companion device. The one or more processors format content for presentation on the visible area available on the flexible content presentation companion device and another visible area of another flexible content presentation companion device and cause the communication device to deliver the content to each flexible content presentation companion device. When the geometric configuration of any flexible content presentation companion device changes, the one or more processors can generate a visible display area adjustment animation to smoothly transfer the content to a new visible area.

  • Patent number: 11907673
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for enhancing chatbot recognition of user intent through graph analysis. A computing device classifies user messages associated with a chat session as either comprehensible user messages that are mapped to a user intent or incomprehensible utterances that are not mapped to a user intent. The computing device arranges the comprehensible messages into first clusters and arranges the incomprehensible messages into second clusters. The computing device generates a first sub-graph for each first cluster and generates a second sub-graph for each second cluster. The computing device calculates a graph kernel matrix using the sub-graphs and trains a classification model using the graph kernel matrix. The computing device executes the trained classification model using the graph kernel matrix as input to generate a predicted intent identifier for the incomprehensible messages.

  • Patent number: 11908071
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to reconstructing representations of bodies from images. An example method of the present disclosure includes inputting, into a machine-learned reconstruction model, input data descriptive of an image depicting a body; predicting, using a machine-learned marker prediction component of the reconstruction model, a set of surface marker locations on the body; and outputting, using a machine-learned marker poser component of the reconstruction model, an output representation of the body that corresponds to the set of surface marker locations. In the example method, one or more parameters of the reconstruction model were learned at least in part based on a consistency loss corresponding to a distance between relaxed-constraint representations generated from a prior set of surface marker locations predicted according to the one or more parameters and parametric representations generated from the prior set using kinematic constraints associated with the body.

  • Patent number: 11909810
Abstract: A computing device is provided, including a logic subsystem with one or more processors, and memory storing instructions executable by the logic subsystem. These instructions are executed to obtain one or more source images, segment the one or more source images to generate a plurality of segments, determine a priority order for the plurality of segments, and transmit the plurality of segments to a remote computing device in the priority order. The plurality of segments are spatial components generated by spatial decomposition of the one or more source images and/or frequency components that are generated by frequency decomposition of the one or more source images. A remote computing device may receive these components in priority order, and perform certain algorithms on individual components without waiting for the entire image to upload.

  • Patent number: 11904890
Abstract: Embodiments disclose a method and a system to operate an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV). In one embodiment, a system determines a source lane speed limit (SLSL) for a source lane (SL) and a target lane speed limit (TLSL) for a target lane (TL), where the SLSL is greater than the TLSL. The system generates a first trajectory for the ADV to follow the SL, the first trajectory having a modified speed corresponding to the TLSL instead of the SLSL. The system generates a second trajectory for the ADV to change from the SL to the TL, the second trajectory having a speed corresponding to the TLSL. The system determines a first cost and a second cost for the first trajectory and the second trajectory respectively based on a cost function for comparison. The system controls the ADV according to a trajectory with a lowest cost.
