    Abstract: A process to form coated polymer particles comprising polymer particles formed from a polymer composition comprising an olefin-based polymer, and a coating formed from a coating composition comprising an aqueous metal acid dispersion and an aqueous polysiloxane emulsion, said process comprising the following: mixing together the aqueous metal acid dispersion and the aqueous polysiloxane emulsion to form a dispersion/emulsion mixture; applying the dispersion/emulsion mixture to a portion of the surfaces of the polymer particles to form wet-coated polymer particles; drying the wet-coated polymer particles to form the coated polymer particles. The aqueous metal acid dispersion and the aqueous polysiloxane emulsion may also be applied, individually, in separate steps.

    Abstract: An occlusion detection system for an autonomous vehicle is described herein, where a signal conversion system receives a three-dimensional sensor signal from a sensor system and projects the three-dimensional sensor signal into a two-dimensional range image having a plurality of pixel values that include distance information to objects captured in the range image. A localization system detects a first object in the range image, such as a traffic light, having first distance information and a second object in the range image, such as a foreground object, having second distance information. An occlusion polygon is defined around the second object and the range image is provided to an object perception system that excludes information within the occlusion polygon to determine a configuration of the first object. A directive is output by the object perception system to control the autonomous vehicle based upon occlusion detection.

If the evaluation of the captured plurality of demand indications reveals a demand for the startup of the braking-torque assistance system, a plurality of operating conditions of the service-brake system are captures and evaluated over a monitoring period. If, in turn, the evaluation of the captured plurality of operating conditions reveals that an overheating of the service-brake system is imminent, the braking-torque assistance system is actuated and one or more deactivation conditions of the braking-torque assistance system are checked. If the deactivation conditions are satisfied, the braking-torque assistance system is deactivated.

The pads receive cleaning solution passing through the channel and cause foam to be generated by breaking-up the cleaning solution and agitating. The ribs may be arranged horizontally relative to a longitudinal axis of the insert assembly and retain the pads within the device. Inserts may be arranged in series along a longitudinal axis of the foam generating device with the pad structures arranged within the channel.

The holder includes a base cooperating with a suction cup, a post with at least one notch, and an arm with slots to hold the tool handle. In most cases, a three-walled shield protects the stored tool from splashes or debris created in the sink during regular use. The angle of the tool holder advantageously encourages any liquid debris on the tool to drain away from the tool as it dries during storage. In one example, a toothbrush handle rests in the notch and contacts the arm extending over the sink. The cleaning head, bristles, razor, or other working end of the tool will desirably hang to enhance the hygienic storage of the tool. A cover protects the tool from splashes.
