  • Patent number: 11898804
Abstract: A spiral heat exchanger features: a cold fluid inlet manifold, a hot fluid inlet manifold and at least one spiral fluid pathway. The cold fluid inlet manifold receives cold fluid and provide cold inlet manifold fluid. The hot fluid inlet manifold receives hot fluid and provide hot inlet manifold fluid. The at least one spiral fluid pathway includes cold spiral pathways configured to receive the cold inlet manifold fluid and provide cold spiral fluid pathway fluid, and hot spiral pathways configured to receive the hot inlet manifold fluid and provide hot spiral fluid pathway fluid. The cold spiral pathways and the hot spiral pathways are configured in relation to one another to exchange heat between the cold spiral pathway fluid and the hot spiral pathway fluid so that the hot spiral fluid pathway fluid warms the cold spiral fluid pathway fluid, and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 11899805
Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for automatically limiting video surveillance collection to authorized uses and authorized users. To achieve this control, the authorization system can be configured to manage and secure a plurality of crypto keys associated with encrypting a plurality of corresponding video footages and release a crypto key for a video footage at approved times to limit user access to the video footage. In particular, the surveillance system can generate a video collection including a copy of portions of a received video footage that include one or more approved events from a watchlist of a user. Thereafter, the video footage can be encrypted by a first key managed by the authorization system and prevents the user from accessing video content of the video footage once encrypted. Accordingly, the user may be limited to accessing the video collection and not all the portions in the encrypted video footage.

  • Patent number: 11902134
Abstract: Communications services are provided to a device. For instance, where a communications resource is being used by a device via a first communications service provider (CSP) component associated with a first CSP, based on a probabilistic analysis of loading parameters received from a device at the first CSP component. A likelihood that the device will move can be predicted, comprising determining the likelihood is not less than a threshold likelihood. If likely to move, and based on the loading parameters, a loading profile associated with a user of the device is updated resulting in updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource by the device via respective other CSP components other than the first CSP component. Further, based on the updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource, at least part of the communications resource can be allocated to the respective other CSP components to facilitate communications with the device.

  • Patent number: 11900544
Abstract: In a method, a visual hull is generated based on intersections of first 3D primitives of a plurality of first silhouettes with a bounding box of a 3D model. The first silhouettes are generated by projecting the 3D model onto planes perpendicular to a number of selected view directions of the 3D model. Each of the first 3D primitives is obtained by extruding a connected loop of a respective first silhouette along a view direction of the number of selected view directions that is associated with the respective first silhouette. A carved mesh is be generated based on subtractions of second 3D primitives derived from positive parts of the 3D model to carve out redundant structures from the visual hull. The positive parts are obtained based on fitting planes that slices the 3D model. A low-poly mesh sequence is generated based on progressive simplifications of the carved mesh.

  • Patent number: 11902545
Abstract: A method of video decoding performed in a video decoder is disclosed. A syntax element can be received from a bitstream of a coded video indicating that residual blocks of a current coding unit (CU) are processed with a color space conversion. The residual blocks of the current CU can include a luma residual block, a first chroma residual block, and a second chroma residual block. In response to receiving the syntax element indicating that the residual blocks of the current CU are processed with the color space conversion, one of two options of color space conversion equations can be selected based on a transform skip flag and a quantization parameter (QP) corresponding to each of the residual blocks of the current CU. An inverse color space conversion can be applied using the selected option of color space conversion equations to the residual blocks of the current CU.
