  • Patent number: 11929148
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a cancer class of a subject are provided in which a plurality of sequence reads, in electronic form, are obtained from a biological sample of the subject. The sample comprises a plurality of cell-free DNA molecules including respective DNA molecules longer than a threshold length of less than 160 nucleotides. The plurality of sequence reads excludes sequence reads of cell-free DNA molecules in the plurality of cell-free DNA molecules longer than the threshold length. The plurality of sequence reads is used to identify a relative copy number at each respective genomic location in a plurality of genomic locations in the genome of the subject. The genetic information about the subject obtained from the sample and the genetic information consisting of the identification of the relative copy number at each respective genomic location, is applied to a classifier that determines the cancer class of the subject.

  • Patent number: 11928580
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable media, are described for interleaving memory requests to accelerate memory accesses at a hardware circuit configured to implement a neural network model. A system generates multiple requests that are processed against a memory of the system. Each request is used to retrieve data from the memory. For each request, the system generates multiple sub-requests based on a respective size of the data to be retrieved using the request. The system generates a sequence of interleaved sub-requests that includes respective sub-requests of a first request interleaved among respective sub-requests of a second request. Based on the sequence of interleaved sub-requests, a module of the system receives respective portions of data accessed from different address locations of the memory. The system processes each of the respective portions of data to generate a neural network inference using the neural network model implemented at the hardware circuit.

  • Patent number: 11926739
Abstract: Modified lignin products, processes for making them, and their use to produce rigid polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foams are disclosed. The processes comprise heating a lignin source with a nitrogen source and a starved concentration of a C1-C5 aldehyde to give a reaction mixture comprising a Mannich condensation product, neutralizing the reaction mixture, and isolating the modified lignin product. The process is performed at a mass ratio of lignin source to nitrogen source within the range of 1:1 to 1:5 and at a molar ratio of nitrogen source to C1-C5 aldehyde within the range of 3.5:1 to 1:1. Polyol blends and performance additives that contain the modified lignin products are described. Rigid foams that process well and incorporate up to 60 wt. %, based on the amount of polyol component, of the modified lignin contribute to excellent flame retardancy and low-temperature R-value performance.

  • Patent number: 11929918
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for utilizing a CIC value field in signaling information of a communication to provide an identification of the ingress network to an egress or receiving network of a long distance telecommunications network. The system and method provides for the provisioning of a signaling CIC for an ingress trunkgroup or network to a telecommunications network for downstream signaling purposes by overriding a received CIC value with a provisioned CIC value specific to the ingress network. This provisioned CIC value identifies the ingress network to the long distance network to the egress network for use by the egress network.

  • Patent number: 11928867
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling an autonomous machine. The autonomous machine has sensors generating input data, while the controller includes two or more neural networks that inference using the input data and generate output data. The neural networks can be trained using an identical set of training data set. The output data from each of the neural networks are monitored to ensure that the integrity of the operation is maintained by, for example, the output data from one neural network is compared with the output data from another neural network to verify the consistency. If the comparison yields that the integrity of the system is not maintained at an acceptable level, the controller can stop using the output in controlling the autonomous machine.

  • Patent number: 11927758
Abstract: A display system includes a wearable eyewear arrangement with a projector for propagating display light associated with an image and a waveguide for propagating the display light to an eye box. The waveguide includes volume Bragg gratings (VBGs), which may be in groups of three or more gratings with same horizontal period allowing each color to be coupled out from the waveguide by the same type of grating, thus, at the same angle, reducing or eliminating image blurriness and ghost images while allowing a smaller size waveguide. A 100% reflective mirror or mirror array is used for broad spectrum reflection into the waveguide for light input. Selection of two or more wavelengths for each color at the projector provides spectral response matching to the waveguide allowing wider field of view (FOV) coverage for the entire wavelength spectrum.
