The method further includes extracting the hydrocarbons from the subterranean hydrocarbon reservoir based on the artificial lift plan by operating, at the well, the artificial lift approach.

    Abstract: A table-based state machine is improved by reducing critical dependence path. In one aspect, all current states for a given input are read from a state table circuit, and the next state and output are then selected therefrom by an output multiplexer based on the current state, removing dependence on the current state from the table read, and allowing the read(s) to be pipelined. In a further aspect, multiple input units are configured to operate on multiple inputs in parallel, with each input unit propagating its state table circuit for its current input to the next downstream input unit. Each downstream input unit is configured to use the propagated state table circuit to provide the state table circuit reads to the proper output multiplexer input. The number of possible output states for a given input may be dynamically reduced, reducing the size of the output multiplexer selecting the next state.

    Abstract: An anti-ligature restraint device is provided. The device includes a tub secured to a mounting location. A sealing element is inserted into the tub. The sealing element includes a restraint element slot to which a restraint is secured when the device is in an open position. The sealing element is disposed entirely with the tub in the closed position. A spring within the tub provides resistance to the sealing element as it is pushed into the tub and rotated to secure the sealing element within the tub. A lid lock secures the sealing element in the closed position. The device may be used in the concrete floor of a hospital room. In the open position, the device secures patient restraints. In the closed position, the device is flush with its mounting surface and locked, thereby preventing patient tampering or access to harmful elements thereof.

    Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device (PED) is disclosed. The case includes a body having an interior surface configured to accept a PED and an exterior surface to be exposed to outside forces. A back vent that permits the transfer heat away from the PED and to the environment presents through the body of the case. A cushioning member is placed at or near the back vent on the interior surface of the case and may substantially or completely surround the back vent. When a PED is placed within the case, the fit of the PED and the case causes the cushioning member to press against the PED in order to create a cushion for the PED in the event of an outside force being applied to the case. The case may include a screen protector within a frame that attaches to the body.
