Abstract: A method for managing cloud infrastructure includes receiving, from a user of a user device, a cloud infrastructure modification request requesting modification to cloud infrastructure. The cloud infrastructure modification request includes abstract configuration data derived from a user interaction with a graphical user interface (GUI) executing on the user device. The method includes translating the abstract configuration data into a configuration command. The configuration command describes a configuration of the cloud infrastructure. The method includes updating a configuration file with the configuration command. The configuration file includes one or more cloud infrastructure specifications for the cloud infrastructure and is controlled by a source control management system. The method includes provisioning, using the updated configuration file, the cloud infrastructure.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating price comparisons in an electronic conversation may include: receiving first data from a mobile device including a product identifier; determining an identification of the product; using a machine-learning model, determining a matching product, the machine-learning model trained to learn associations between products based on (i) product identification numbers, (ii) vectorizations of parameters of products, and (iii) social information data; identifying an offer for a matching product; extracting second data from the offer that includes a price and third data configured to enable access to the offer; determining a lowest price offer from amongst identified offers; generating fourth data that includes (i) information indicative of the lowest price offer, and (ii) fifth data configured to enable access to at least one of the respective third data corresponding to the lowest price offer or the second data; and transmitting the fourth data to the mobile device.

Abstract: Apparatuses and systems are presented for photovoltaic power production. A plurality of adaptive solar panels comprise photovoltaic faces and connective edge faces. Connective edge faces each comprise a panel connection interface so that the plurality of adaptive solar panels are releasably affixed one to another in configurations adaptive to surfaces and environmental geometric space constraints. Connective edge faces each further comprise a panel electrical connector such that the plurality of adaptive solar panels are releasably electrically connectable. One or more adaptive connection units comprise unit connection interfaces so that the one or more adaptive connection units are releasably affixed to the plurality of adaptive solar panels. One or more adaptive connection units further comprise one or more connection electrical connectors so that the one or more adaptive connection units are releasably electrically connectable to the plurality of adaptive solar panels.

Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically re-routing layer traffic between different servers with little user-visible disruption and without modifications to the vRAN software stack are provided. For instance, transformations on messages between the L2 and PHY, such as duplication and filtering, enable the system to maintain one or more low-overhead “hot, inactive” PHY clones. A hot, inactive PHY clone may be a duplicate of an operational PHY, where the PHY clone is primed to process a PHY workload of the operational PHY (e.g., “hot”) but is not currently responsible for processing the PHY workload (e.g., low-overhead, inactive). In this way, a PHY workload may be automatically and seamlessly migrated to the hot PHY clone in response to planned downtime (e.g., scheduled maintenance, software upgrades) or unexpected events (e.g., server failures) within the strict transmission time intervals (TTIs) required for processing the PHY workload.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for determining an estimated capacity for providing data from a telecommunications network to a plurality of end users. In one implementation, the estimated capacity for delivering the data to the end users is per transmission path or per access network connected to the telecommunications network. This information may be aggregated into a traffic flow table that illustrates the traffic flow and available capacity to one or more end user networks. Through analysis of the traffic flow table, the system determines an estimated available capacity to provide the data to the end users. The traffic flow table thus provides a more accurate estimate of the capacity of the telecommunications network to provide the data to the end users over previous capacity estimates.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing web-based monitoring and detection of fraudulent or unauthorized use of voice calling service. In various embodiments, a computing system might receive, from a user device associated with an originating party, a request to initiate a call session with a destination party, the request comprising user information associated with the originating party and a destination number associated with the destination party; might query a database with session data (including user information) to access permission data and configuration data; and might configure fraud logic using received configuration data from the database. The computing system might analyze the session data and permission data using the configured fraud logic to determine whether the originating party is permitted to establish the requested call session with the destination party; if so, might initiate one or more first actions; and, if not, might initiate one or more second actions.

Abstract: A method may include determining, by a wireless device not in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state, a change of height of the wireless device. The method may also include receiving, by the wireless device from the base station, at least one of a threshold for determining the change of height, a hysteresis value for determining the change of height, an event type associated with the change of height, and a parameter indicating that the threshold, the hysteresis value, and/or the event type is for height measurements by the wireless device while not in the RRC connected state. The method may further include transmitting, by the wireless device to a base station, a message indicating the change of height of the wireless device.

Abstract: A hydronic assembly connectable to a building's water and air distribution systems to manage and deliver conditioned air to a unit of the building includes an enclosure housing a hydronic coil configured to heat or cool air within the enclosure, a valve control system coupled to the hydronic coil for regulating the flow of water through the hydronic coil, and an air supply booster for mixing recirculated and ventilated air within the enclosure and delivering the same to the unit. The enclosure includes a return air inlet for recirculating air to the enclosure, a supply air outlet for supplying air to the unit, and a return air separation baffle separating the return air inlet air stream from the supply air outlet air stream. The enclosure is removably attachable to the building's air distribution system. The hydronic coil includes piping that is removably attachable to the building's water distribution system.

Abstract: Embodiments herein are directed to pedal assembly for a vehicle that includes a housing, a link member, a pedal arm, and a lever arm. The housing has a friction generating member extending from an interior surface of a sidewall. The pedal arm is coupled to a first end of the link member. The lever arm has a second lever end that includes a hub portion. A first lever end includes an attachment portion extending from an exterior surface. The attachment portion is coupled to the second end of the link member. The hub portion abuts the friction generating member of the housing and moves when a pressure is applied to the attachment portion. When the pedal arm is depressed, the lever arm leverages a load applied to the pedal arm to move the hub portion against the friction generating member of the housing thereby generating a hysteresis.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for dynamic Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) image retrieval. A call for a function from among a function group is received. The function call corresponds to an NBMP request to a workflow manager. A determination is made as to whether an image associated with the received function call is static or dynamic. A pointer to the image is returned based on the image being determined to be dynamic.

Abstract: A just in time personal information sharing system employs short-range wireless communication to detect the presence of a user and identify them prior to sharing the user's information. The user stores personally identifying information within their user device and controls which parties it may be shared with. Subsequently when a user is detected within a location using a wireless terminal, the user's presence is verified using a biometric profile, and if confirmed, then the user's personally identifying information is shared with the other transacting party for temporary use in completing a desired transaction. In this manner, no transacting party is required to maintain user information, and in addition, a user controls their own information and its sharing without the need for arduous user input to facilitate the same.

Abstract: A solution for formatting document objects by visual suggestions is proposed. For a document including multiple editing units each of which contains multiple objects, a first editing rule is generated, the first editing rule indicating an edit performed on a first object in a document. Then, an editing suggestion is generated based on the first editing rule, the editing suggestion describing a candidate edit to be performed on a second object within a suggestion scope. The editing suggestion is then presented in a visual form to a user for selection.

Abstract: A request to authenticate is received (e.g., a request to login with a username/password). The request to authenticate comprises an address associated with the request to authenticate (e.g., an IP address). The request to authenticate is validated. In response to validating the request to authenticate, a message is sent to a routing device that identifies the address as authenticated for routing packets. In a second embodiment, a DHCP discover message is received. The DHCP discover message is a request to get an IP address. A determination is made to determine if the DHCP discover message comprises a watermark. In response to determining that the DHCP discover message comprises the watermark: a DHCP offer message is sent with an IP address and a third message is sent to a routing device that identifies the IP address as valid for routing packets.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes depositing a capping layer on a semiconductor device structure. The semiconductor device includes a plurality of tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) elements, a corresponding one hard mask on each TMR element, a metal layer, and a plurality of electroconductive vias directing connecting the TMR elements to the metal layer. The method further includes depositing an insulator on the capping layer, depositing a first photoresist on the insulator, patterning the first photoresist using photolithography to expose portions of the insulator, etching the exposed portions of the insulator and the hard masks to expose top surfaces of the TMR elements, stripping the first photoresist, and depositing a conducting material on the top surfaces of the TMR elements to form an electroconductive contact.

Abstract: A motorized window treatment system controls a plurality of motorized window treatments to maximize daylight autonomy, while minimizing cognitive dissonance. The system may include motorized window treatments, window sensors, and a system controller. Each motorized window treatment may be operable to adjust a respective covering material to control the amount of light entering a space. Each sensor may be mounted adjacent to at least one of the motorized window treatments, and may be configured to measure an amount of daylight shining on the sensor. The system controller may receive sensor readings from the sensors and may control the motorized window treatments in response to the sensors to keep the covering materials aligned when the sensor readings are within a predetermined amount. The system controller may dynamically group and re-group the sensors into subgroups based upon the sensor readings and may control the motorized window treatments based upon the subgroups.

The tab and slot allow multiple users, such as the manufacturer, merchant, and e-commerce reseller, to conveniently open and close the box multiple times without damaging the box. The underside of the lid flap carries strips of covered adhesive used to seal the box closed for final shipping or in-person sale of the product. Protective film covers the adhesive strips until the user is ready to remove the protective film and tape the box closed in a permanent fixed manner for final shipping. The innovative arrangement provides a convenience of use and neatness in between pre-shipping uses with easy access and closing while simultaneously enabling secure shipping upon final designation determination.
