Abstract: Topical pain relief compositions include a cannabinoid, terpenoid, and skin penetration system that includes dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and at least one compatibilizer. The composition may be in the form of an emulsion that contains water and at least one fatty component. The composition can be used to reduce or eliminate pain by direct topical application to an affected part or region of the body. A method of treating pain may include direct topical application of the composition to a joint, ligament, muscle, tendon, or disk. The composition penetrates through the skin to provide localized pain relief where applied and provides a quantity of cannabinoid in the region of the pain instead of distributing the cannabinoid systemically and/or to the brain or central nervous system. The composition may be applied by rubbing or massaging at the treatment site and/or by a bandage, patch or other barrier layer.

Abstract: Two genes, A622 and NBB1, can be influenced to achieve a decrease of nicotinic alkaloid levels in plants. In particular, suppression of one or both of A622 and NBB1 may be used to decrease nicotine in tobacco plants.

Abstract: A drain assembly capable of being placed inground includes a first panel and a second panel spaced-apart from the first panel, a plurality of supports extending between the first panel and the second panel, a bottom or pipe extending between a bottom portion of the first panel and the second panel, and a cap extending between a top portion of the first panel and the second panel. The first panel may define a plurality of drainage apertures. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: Arterial compression methods and apparatus may include high-frequency pulse waveforms applied to one or more cuffs on a limb. Additionally or alternatively, they may include high inflation rate configurations, such as may be used to more quickly inflate a cuff on a limb. They may also include inflating a cuff on a limb using a plurality of inflation pulses.

Abstract: A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The trailer is provided with a drive assembly having a locking mechanism to selectively engage the drive from the motor to the wheels of the trailer. The locking mechanism having a reciprocating pushing member that may push an urging member to act upon a flanged driveshaft to selectively engage a clutch of the drive assembly.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include systems and methods for generating and managing user authentication rules of a computing device. In an example, a computing device may include a memory storing instructions and a processor communicatively coupled with the memory and configured to execute the instructions. The processor may determine a state of the computing device, wherein the state of the computing device is one of a locked state or an unlocked state. The processor may determine a user authentication rule corresponding to the state of the computing device. The processor may also identify whether a combination of signals associated with the user authentication rule of the computing device are received by the computing device. The processor may also change or maintain the state of the computing device based on the combination of signals being received.

Abstract: At least one vertically alternating sequence of continuous insulating layers and continuous sacrificial material layers is formed over a substrate. Rows of backside support pillar structures are formed through the at least one vertically alternating sequence. Memory stack structures are formed through the at least one vertically alternating sequence. A two-dimensional array of discrete backside trenches is formed through the at least one vertically alternating sequence. Contiguous combinations of a subset of the backside trenches and a subset of the backside support pillar structures divide the at least one vertically alternating sequence into alternating stacks of insulating layers and sacrificial material layers. The sacrificial material layers are replaced with electrically conductive layers while the backside support pillar structures provide structural support to the insulating layers.

Abstract: A radiating element may have a dipole arm that may include a first conductive circuit loop and a second conductive circuit loop. The first conductive circuit loop may include at least one narrow conductive segment and at least one wide conductive segment, and the narrow conductive segment may present high impedance characteristics in at least one frequency band outside the operating frequency band of the radiating element to suppress at least partially the current in the at least one frequency band. A base station antenna may include a feed board and the radiating element mounted on the feed board.

Abstract: A quality management system (QMS) contains a collection of documents and content relating to interdependent policies, processes, and procedures required for planning, manufacturing, and marketing complex products. Change management refers to the way a company manages modifications to products and processes within their business and the potential impacts of those changes. A core part of change management is to understand what may be impacted by the change, why it impacted, and how to assess and or identify the risk of the change throughout the company and quality/regulatory processes. The impact assessment is a core part of the process to ensure one does not make changes that create a product and/or process failures as well as evaluating the regulatory impact of such changes.

Abstract: An apparatus for guiding products along a conveyor in a conveying direction. The apparatus includes a first guiderail for at least partially forming a conveying path for articles on the conveyor. A guiderail adjuster includes a flexible or collapsible support, which make take the form of a linkage, and which provides support for the first guiderail along the conveyor. The flexible or collapsible support is adapted for being extended and retracted along a support rail extending in the conveying direction to selectively position the first guiderail relative to the conveyor, and thereby alter (increase or decrease) the width of the conveying path. Related methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods of enforcing policies in a computer environment for content distribution using pointwise mutual information (PMI) based clustering are provided. The system can maintain a network of nodes representing a plurality of assets. Upon detecting that an asset is associated with a policy label, the system can identify attributes of the asset and compute a PMI score indicating whether nodes of the network sharing the attributes belong to a single content source. Upon determining that the PMI score exceeds a predefined threshold value, the system can identify a cluster of nodes including the nodes sharing the attributes. The system can tag the cluster, for example, as being associated with a content source that is associated with the policy label.

In one example, the autonomous driver may supply a torque request and a torque or power urgency assessment to a powertrain controller. The powertrain controller may monitor vehicle control system parameters based on the driver demand torque and the torque or power urgency assessment.

Abstract: Described is a calorimeter that includes a thermal column, a sample container, a reference container, a thermal shield, a diffusion-bonded block and a thermal plate. One or more heat flux sensors are disposed between the thermal column and the sample container and between the thermal column and the reference container. The thermal shield is in thermal communication with the thermal column and is separated from and substantially encloses the sample container, reference container and thermal column. The diffusion-bonded block includes a first metallic layer having a first thermal conductivity, a second metallic layer having a second thermal conductivity and a third metallic layer having a third thermal conductivity. The second thermal conductivity is different from the first and third thermal conductivities. The first metallic layer is in thermal communication with the base of the thermal column and the third metallic layer is in thermal communication with the thermal plate.

Abstract: A response to a first query related to a geographic area, and search results responsive to a second query related to the geographic area, are received from a server system. A digital map of the geographic is provided via a user interface. A focus is provided to the first query to illustrate the response on the digital map, where the response defines a geographic context. A subset of the search results is identified based on a relationship to the geographic context. The search results in the identified subset are visually emphasized on the digital map relative to the rest of the search results.

The server can receive, from a client device, a request for media content at a first domain embedded in a content element from a second domain. The request can include an identifier indicating that the client device is configured to restrict cross-domain redirection. The server can determine, responsive to identifying the identifier indicating that the client device is configured to restrict cross-domain redirection, that the request comprises a content type header having a first predetermined value. The server can generate, responsive to the determination, a response comprising the media content element in a body of the response. The server can transmit the response to the client device. Receipt of the response can cause the client device to extract the media content element from the body of the response and to render the media content element.
