Abstract: Policy-based routing of internet protocol (IP) packets using flow context. A system intercepts an event associated with creation of a network connection by an operating system (OS). The system identifies a flow context, including a flow tuple, associated with the network connection. Based on the flow context, and based on a flow-based routing policy, the system determines a provider associated with the network connection. The system records, in a state database, an association between the flow tuple and the provider, and instructs the OS to initiate the network connection. After the creation of the network connection, the system intercepts an IP packet associated with the network connection. Based on a header of the IP packet, the system identifies the flow tuple and, based on a result of querying the state database for the flow tuple, and initiates a provider-based action for the IP packet.

Abstract: A technique for managing communications between a server and multiple clients includes configuring the server to support multiple sets of certificates for respective clients having respective root certificates. The technique further includes determining an indicator associated with a client root certificate during an initial handshake between a client and the server and providing the client with a server certificate associated with the indicator.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to a system that performs steps to perform enhanced device fingerprinting. The system at least at receives from an application, a plurality of device attributes identifying a client device on which the application is being used. The plurality of device attributes includes a push token provided by a push token service to the client device. The push token is uniquely paired to the client device. The system further transmits, to a device database, the plurality of device attributes for storage in a device profile. The system also transmits, to the application, a push notification based on the push token. The system receives, from the application, a deliverable status indicating whether the push notification was successfully transmitted to the client device, and transmits, to a notification database, the deliverable status for storage in a notification delivery profile. The system can use the information to authenticate a device.

Abstract: A modular floating shelf system comprises a modular floating shelf bracket mounting a shelf to a wall and with the modular floating shelf bracket being contained in and hidden by the shelf. The modular floating shelf bracket comprises at least two bracket modules, including a main bracket and an extension bracket, selectively coupleable together. A coupler plate is coupled to a proximal end of an extension mounting plate and overhangs a seam between the extension mounting plate and a main mounting plate. A bore extends through the overhang of the coupler plate and receives a cantilevered main beams of the main bracket. The main and extension brackets can be selectively coupled together to accommodate wider shelves.

Abstract: Implementations are described herein for normalizing counts of plant-parts-of-interest detected in digital imagery to account for differences in spatial dimensions of plants, particularly plant heights. In various implementations, one or more digital images depicting a top of a first plant may be processed. The one or more digital images may have been acquired by a vision sensor carried over top of the first plant by a ground-based vehicle. Based on the processing: a distance of the vision sensor to the first plant may be estimated, and a count of visible plant-parts-of-interest that were captured within a field of view of the vision sensor may be determined. Based on the estimated distance, the count of visible plant-parts-of-interest may be normalized with another count of visible plant-parts-of-interest determined from one or more digital images capturing a second plant.

The computing system determines, based on the identity of the customer, that the customer has one or more previous transactions at the facility. The computing system predicts, based on the one or more previous transactions, a new transaction at the facility. Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for providing content recommendations to a user based on an elapsed playback time of the current content on the user device. A recommendation server having memory and a processor can be used to compare an elapsed playback time of the current content and compare the elapsed playback time with one or more threshold values. If the elapsed playback time is less than a first threshold, anticorrelated content with respect to the current content can be recommended and presented on or using the user device.

Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for modifying usage of display device pixels. A computing system monitors usage of a plurality of pixels of a display device and determines a target usage level. The computing system identifies that a usage level of a first pixel does not satisfy the target usage level and selects an occasion at which to present the first pixel in a frame to be presented by the display device with an increased intensity with respect to an original intensity that was specified for the first pixel by the frame. The computing system activates the first pixel at the increased intensity during presentation by the display device of the frame.
