  • Patent number: 12248366
Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a first remote device, an initial first plurality of status metrics corresponding to a first domain, each of the initial plurality of status metrics indicating whether a corresponding parameter of the first domain requires remediation. The method includes comparing the initial plurality of status metrics to a reference database, the reference database listing previously encountered problems with known remediation solutions. The method includes receiving from the first remote device, an updated plurality of status metrics corresponding the first domain, each of the updated plurality of status metrics indicating whether a corresponding parameter of the first domain requires remediation. The method includes applying an algorithm to the updated plurality of status metrics to generate a maturity score of the first domain. The method includes combining the maturity score of the first domain and a maturity score of a second domain to generate a maturity report.

  • Patent number: 12248734
Abstract: An audio services agent manager (ASAM) of a control device can provide an improved user experience by iterating through a list of audio services agents so as to verify that a requested audio service is provided. The ASAM can receive an audio input from an audio input device and direct the audio input as an audio command to an audio services agent based on an audio service rule. The ASAM can verify processing of the audio command by the audio service agent based on a response received by the ASAM from the audio service agent. If the response indicates success, then the audio service requested by the audio command is provided, otherwise, the ASAM can select another audio services agent based on the audio service rule and proceed to direct the audio command to the newly selected audio services agent so as to provide the requested audio service.

  • Patent number: 12250758
Abstract: A remote control device for controlling lighting devices may be configured to detect an excessive user interaction (e.g., a continued user interaction) and reduce a number of command messages that are being transmitted to prevent the lighting devices from producing undesirable visual effects. The remote control device may comprise a user interface (e.g., that may include a rotation portion, such as a rotary knob) and a processor configured to receive an indication of a user interaction via the user interface. The processor may periodically transmit command messages at a transmission frequency in response to a continued user interaction, where each of the command messages comprise a respective command for adjusting to a respective lighting level. The processor may also start a usage timer in response to receiving the indication of the user interaction, and decrease the transmission frequency in response to the usage timer exceeding a usage threshold.

  • Patent number: 12248436
Abstract: A method for data storage includes assigning multiple different portions of a given object, which is stored in non-volatile storage, for access by multiple respective software modules running on one or more processors. Storage operations are performed by the software modules in the portions of the given object. Respective local values, which are indicative of most recent times the storage operations were performed in the given object by the respective software modules, are updated by the software modules. A global value is updated for the given object, by consolidating updates of the local values performed by the software modules.

  • Patent number: 12250097
Abstract: Methods and systems for flexible nodal layer 3 overlay of layer 2 traffic is described. A network includes an access device for receiving layer 2 traffic from user devices, a packet inspection device for inspecting the layer 2 traffic, and a layer 3 tunnel instantiation device for encapsulating the layer 2 traffic into layer 3 traffic. The layer 3 tunnel instantiation device provides a first tunnel endpoint for a layer 3 tunnel, which is connected to a second tunnel endpoint instantiated at a network gateway. The layer 3 tunnel instantiation device establishes a moveable demarcation between a layer 2 domain and a layer 3 domain with respect to the packet inspection device, where the access device and the packet inspection device operate in the layer 2 domain. The layer 3 traffic is transmitted over the layer 3 tunnel.

  • Patent number: 12250400
Abstract: A technique is described herein for temporally and spatially interpolating input video information, to produce output video information having a higher frame rate and a higher resolution compared to that exhibited by the input video information. The technique generates feature information based on plural frames of the input video information. The technique then produces the output video information based on the feature information using an architecture having, in order, a multi-stage encoding operation, a query-generating operation, and a multi-stage decoding operation. Each encoding stage produces an instance of encoder attention information that expresses identified relations across the plural frames of the input video information. Each decoding stage operates on an instance of encoder attention information produced by a corresponding encoding stage. The transformer architecture is compact and is capable of interpolating the input video information in real time.

  • Patent number: 12246235
Abstract: A sports rotation swing training system is provided that includes a harness assembly to be worn around the torso of the player that is used with a separate vertical upright structure. The harness assembly comprises a chest/waist band and a generally horizontally projecting stick protruding from the band side. The projecting stick is designed to engage with the separate upright structure upon the player's execution of a swing to provide feedback (auditory, tactile, or electronic) related to the degree of rotation. The chest/waist band can be alternatively positioned by the user at the chest (to practice thoracic rotation) or at the waist (to practice pelvic rotation). In a preferable aspect of the invention, the angle of the projecting stick is adjustable downward from generally parallel to the ground.

Abstract: Pre-ceramic particle solutions can prepared by a Coordinated-PDC process, a Direct-PDC process or a Coordinated-Direct-PDC process. The pre-ceramic particle solution includes a polymer selected from the group consisting of (i) an organic polymer including a metal or metalloid cation, (ii) a first organometallic polymer and (iii) a second organometallic polymer including a metal or metalloid cation different from a metal in the second organometallic polymer, a plurality of particles selected from the group consisting of (a) a ceramic fuel particle and (b) a moderator particle, a dispersant, and a polymerization initiator. The pre-ceramic particle solution can be supplied to an additive manufacturing process, such as digital light projection, and made into a structure (which is pre-ceramic particle green body) that can then be debinded to form a polymer-derived ceramic sintered body. In some embodiments, the polymer-derived ceramic sintered body is a component or structure for fission reactors.

  • Patent number: 12246271
Abstract: A media retention plate for an underdrain system having one or more filter blocks. The plate can include a first slot configured to allow the passage of air and a second slot configured to allow the passage of water during an air backwash. The media retention plate is configured to facilitate the water to flow back into the one or more filter blocks through the second slot while maintaining air flow through the first slot to create an optimal collapse pulse. The first and second slots are evenly sized and evenly spaced apart to facilitate the creation of a relatively smaller-sized collapse pulse during a sequential air-water backwash. A plurality of inserts can be arranged along a perimeter of a basal portion of the bottom surface of the media retention plate. The inserts improve the structural integrity of and prevent uplift of the media retention plate.
