  • Patent number: 11805331
Abstract: A high dynamic range imaging pixel may include a photodiode that generates charge in response to incident light. When the generated charge exceeds a first charge level, the charge may overflow through a first transistor to a first storage capacitor. When the generated charge exceeds a second charge level that is higher than the first charge level, the charge may overflow through a second transistor. The charge that overflows through the second transistor may alternately be coupled to a voltage supply and drained or transferred to a second storage capacitor for subsequent readout. Diverting more overflow charge to the voltage supply may increase the dynamic range of the pixel. The amount of charge diverted to the voltage supply may therefore be updated to control the dynamic range of the imaging pixel.

  • Patent number: 11802529
Abstract: A throttle body has a throttle bore with an inlet, an outlet and an air passage. A throttle valve has a valve head received within the throttle bore. A fuel metering valve is mounted on the throttle body and has a valve element and a fuel outlet, the valve element is movable relative to a valve seat to control fuel flow through the fuel outlet. And the nozzle body is carried by the throttle body and has a fuel passage and a feed passage. The fuel passage is arranged to receive fuel that exits the fuel outlet, and is communicated with a fuel chamber through which fluid flows into the throttle bore. The feed passage is communicated with the air passage and with the fuel passage upstream of the fuel chamber. Air in the feed passage is mixed with fuel in the fuel passage upstream of the fuel chamber.

  • Patent number: 11802735
Abstract: A heat exchanger is provided. The heat exchanger provides a first plurality of tubes and a second plurality of flow passages which furcate near one of the first and second manifolds into two or more furcated flow passages and subsequently converge to exit the heat exchanger. The plurality of furcated flow passages are intertwined, reducing the distance between flow passages containing each fluid therebetween to improve thermal transfer. Further, the furcations create changes of direction of the fluid to re-establish new thermal boundary layers within the flow passages to further reduce resistance to thermal transfer.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for video coding. Video data comprising a chroma component and a luma component is received. Luma samples are extracted from the luma component of the received video data. The chroma component is filtered based on the extracted luma samples using a cross-component adaptive loop filter (CC-ALF). Coefficients associated with the CC-ALF are constrained to be less than a sum of a bit-depth value associated with the luma samples and a positive offset value.

  • Patent number: 11801538
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described which can safely reduce a laboratory fume hood's minimum airflow and energy consumption when it is determined that the fume hood is not in active use, based on a condition monitoring approach. The condition monitoring approach may incorporate a combination of setback criteria to reliably determine if the fume hood is or is not in use. When a determination has been made that a fume hood is not in use, energy reduction is achieved via automatic methods of hood minimum airflow setback. Fume hood minimum flow reductions are automatically disabled when it is determined that the hood is in active use.

  • Patent number: 11804870
Abstract: In a broadband wireless communication system, a spread spectrum signal is intentionally overlapped with an OFDM signal, in a time domain, a frequency domain, or both. The OFDM signal, which inherently has a high spectral efficiency, is used for carrying broadband data or control information. The spread spectrum signal, which is designed to have a high spread gain for overcoming severe interference, is used for facilitating system functions such as initial random access, channel probing, or short messaging. Methods and techniques are devised to ensure that the mutual interference between the overlapped signals is minimized to have insignificant impact on either signal and that both signals are detectable with expected performance by a receiver.

  • Patent number: 11803207
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide for an improved glitch-free clock multiplexer exhibiting noise insensitivity with reduced power consumption and reduced physical area on a chip. The embodiments disclosed herein operate without any need of a reference clock. Due to which, clock interchangeability is possible at any point of time. An example glitch-free clock multiplexing according to the embodiments disclosed herein utilize a plurality of clock path circuits, each corresponding to a clock. The clock path circuits are activated responsive to a system startup signal. Based on a clock selection, the embodiments herein deactivate clock path circuits for unselected clocks and, dependent on the deactivation of the unselected clock path circuits, activate clock path circuits of any selected clocks.
