  • Patent number: 11782765
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method, a device, and a program product for managing a computing system. In a method, a current state and a plurality of historical states of a computing device in a computing system are acquired, the plurality of historical states respectively describing historical states of the computing device in the computing system at a plurality of historical time points. In response to determining that the current state matches a scheduling type for scheduling the computing device, the plurality of historical states are searched for a historical state matching the current state. A historical scheduling policy associated with the historical state is determined. Based on the historical scheduling policy, a computing task to be executed by the computing device is allocated to at least one other computing device in the computing system.

  • Patent number: 11784735
Abstract: A technology is described for adjusting repeater gain based on user equipment need. A downlink path of the repeater can be deactivated. A deactivated throughput value can be received from the UE for data received at the UE in a selected time period. The downlink amplification path of the repeater can be activated. An activated throughput value for data received at the UE in the selected time period can be received from the UE. A difference can be determined between the deactivated throughput value and the activated throughput value. A repeater gain value can be reduced or bypassed when the deactivated throughput value is greater than the activated throughput value by a selected threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11783689
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described for implementing intelligent seating for wellness monitoring. A system obtains data from a first sensor integrated in an intelligent seating apparatus at a property. The first data indicates a potential abnormal condition of a person at the property. The system determines that the person has an abnormal condition based on the first data corresponding to the person having used the seating apparatus. Based on the abnormal condition, the system provides an indication to a client device of the person to prompt the person to adjust their use of the seating apparatus. The system also obtains visual indications of the abnormal condition, determines the type of abnormal condition afflicting the person, and determines a wellness command with instructions for alleviating the abnormal condition. The wellness command is provided for display on the client device.

  • Patent number: 11785027
Abstract: A threat protection system provides for detecting links in a document and analyzing whether one of the detected links is a malicious link that may direct a user of the document to a malicious universal resource locator (URL). In one implementation of the described technology, when a user selects a link in a document, a link activation module calls a threat protection client module that performs a reputation check for the link. If the selected link is malicious, the threat protection client module sends a URL of a warning page to the link activation module.

  • Patent number: 11785464
Abstract: A communication method and system according to the present invention generates a unique cryptographically secure URI in response to receiving a user post. The user post and URI are stored temporarily. The URI is sent to an intended recipient. In response to a first instance of accessing the URI, the content is retrieved and sent to the intended recipient. The original uploaded content and URI are then deleted. In response to subsequent instances of accessing the URI, random content determined in part by a current environmental state of the communication, is returned. Recent subsequent instances can return thematically similar content.

  • Patent number: 11780193
Abstract: A system for forming a pressware product comprises rollers, a scoring tool, a scoring station actuator, a forming tool, and a forming station actuator. The rollers pull the web along a path having an angle. The scoring tool receives the material from the rollers and includes a vertically shiftable scoring punch with an edge that extends about an outline of the pressware product and a striker plate. The scoring station actuator shifts the scoring tool to form a slot in the web. The forming tool receives the scored web and includes a vertically shiftable positive mold assembly and negative mold assembly. • Patent number: 11785516
Abstract: A mechanism for controlling service of a user equipment device (UE), including (i) predicting that the UE will move sequentially through multiple zones of coverage of an access node that operates on a different respective set of one or more frequency bands in each zone of coverage and that has a respective radio-frequency (RF) circuitry quality as to each frequency band, (ii) based on the predicting, determining an RF-circuitry-quality score of the access node as an aggregate of the RF-circuitry-qualities of the access node as to the frequency bands on which the access node operates in the multiple zones of coverage through which the UE is predicted to move, and (iii) before the predicted movement of the UE through the multiple zones of coverage occurs, proactively using the determined RF-circuitry-quality score of the access node as a basis to control whether the UE is served by the access node.
