Abstract: A wireless access node serves wireless User Equipment (UEs) based on wireless network slices that are used by the UEs. In the wireless access node, node circuitry generates initial schedules for the UEs. Radio circuitry in the wireless access node wirelessly communicates with the UEs based on the initial schedules. The node circuitry detects a scheduling contention for the UEs and responsively determines scheduling priority based on the wireless network slices used by the UEs. The node circuitry generates priority schedules for the UEs based on the scheduling priority. The radio circuitry wirelessly communicates with the UEs based on the priority schedules. The node circuitry may use normal scheduling again when the contention subsides.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for point cloud compression. In some examples, an apparatus for point cloud compression includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry determines a plurality of original points in a point cloud that is quantized to a reconstructed position. The processing circuitry determines an attribute value of the reconstructed position based on attribute information of the plurality of original points. Further, the processing circuitry encodes the point cloud based on the determined attribute value of the reconstructed position.
Abstract: Various embodiments of a system and associated method for audio source separation based on generative priors trained on individual sources. Through the use of projected gradient descent optimization, the present approach simultaneously searches in the source-specific latent spaces to effectively recover the constituent sources. Though the generative priors can be defined in the time domain directly, it was found that using spectral domain loss functions leads to good-quality source estimates.

Abstract: Data encrypted using a first device-specific key of a first host device is written to a first logical storage device of a storage system. The storage system generates a copy of the first logical storage device, and associates the copy of the first logical storage device with a second logical storage device of the storage system. Data encrypted using a second device-specific key of a second host device is written to the second logical storage device of the storage system. Responsive to a request from the second host device for particular data of the second logical storage device, the storage system determines if the particular data was encrypted using the first key or the second key, and provides the second host device with the particular data and an indication of a result of the determination.
Abstract: To ensure that an electronic device is a secure electronic device, a communication device transmits a request to authenticate the electronic device to a remote electronic device across a network. The communication device receives a security challenge. One or more processors of the electronic device obtain a response to the security challenge using a secret key stored in an encrypted memory of the electronic device. The communication device then transmits the response to the response to the security challenge to the remote electronic device. If the remote electronic device recognizes the response, it transmits a shared secret content marker, which can optionally be presented at a user interface of the electronic device. The request can be automatically initiated by a companion electronic device.
Abstract: An e-vapor device may include a housing shell configured to receive a supply packet containing a pre-vapor formulation, a mouthpiece secured to an end of the housing shell, a puncture device within the housing shell, and a heater structure within the housing shell and arranged to be in thermal contact with the pre-vapor formulation. The mouthpiece is configured to transition from a protracted position to a retracted position. The puncture device is configured to pierce the supply packet to release the pre-vapor formulation when the mouthpiece transitions to the retracted position. The heater structure is configured to vaporize the pre-vapor formulation to generate a vapor.
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a malfunction in a vehicle air conditioner (A/C) drip valve receives a trigger signal to initiate a vehicle A/C drip valve diagnostic for a vehicle, obtains a first image of a target area at a first time when the target area is dry, obtains a second image of the target area after operation of a vehicle A/C at a second time after the first time, compares the first image to the second image to determine a presence or absence of condensate from the vehicle A/C, and determines whether the vehicle A/C drip valve is malfunctioning based upon the comparison.

Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a Domain Name System (DNS) receives an Access Point Identifier (AP ID) for an access point that serves a User Equipment (UE). The DNS converts the AP ID into an Access Gateway Identifier (AGW ID) that comprises a location identifier. The DNS selects an External Gateway Identifier (EGW ID) that comprises the location identifier. The access gateway receives control signals having the AGW ID and exchanges user data between the access point and the external gateway to serve the UE. Abstract: A bridge component is interposed between a content targeting portion of a computerized content management system and a security portion of the system. the content targeting portion has a plurality of targeting segments defined therein. The bridge component creates a plurality of corresponding security groups for at least a subset of the plurality of targeting segments for which pre-existing security groups have not been created. For the targeting segments, accessing, with the bridge component, underlying logic used by the content targeting portion to create the targeting segments, and use the logic to determine whether each potential group member matches the logic. Add at least those of the potential group members that match the logic, and are not already present, to an appropriate one of the corresponding security groups; remove those that do not match. Apply security to the resulting updated security groups with the security portion, and distribute content accordingly.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting an angle of incidence of a laser surgery system include a laser source to produce a laser beam and an optical delivery system to output the laser beam pulses to an object at an adjustable incident angle. A first rotator assembly receives the beam from the laser source along a first beam axis. The first rotator assembly rotates around the first beam axis and the first rotator assembly outputs the beam along a second beam axis different from the first beam axis. A second rotator assembly receives the beam from the first rotator assembly along the second beam axis. The second rotator assembly rotates around the second beam axis. The second rotator assembly follows the rotation of the first rotator assembly and the first rotator assembly is independent of the rotation of the second rotator assembly.
Abstract: Computerized systems are provided for detecting one or more tables and performing information extraction and analysis on any given table. Information can be extracted from one or more cells or fields of a table and feature vectors representing individual cells, rows, and/or columns of the table can be derived and concatenated together. In this way, embodiments can use some or all of the “context” or values contained in various feature vectors representing some or all of a single table as signals or factors to consider when generating a decision statistic, such as a classification prediction, for a particular cell.
Abstract: Described herein are thermoplastic composites including a polymer matrix, having a at least one semi-crystalline polyphthalamide (“PPA”) polymer, and at least one continuous reinforcing fiber. It was surprisingly discovered that incorporation of semi-crystalline PPA polymers, having a selected melt profile, into the polymer matrix provided for crack-free thermoplastic composites. Based at least in part on the semi-crystalline structure of PPA polymers, the thermoplastic composite can have improved tensile strength, chemical resistance and thermal stability, relative to composites incorporating an amorphous PPA polymer. The composites can be formed using melt impregnation techniques, well known in the art. The composites can be desirably used in a wide range of application settings including, but not limited to automotive, aerospace, automotive and oil and gas and mobile electronic device applications.
