Abstract: A storage system is operable to transition from operation in accordance with a first storage scheme to operation in accordance with a second storage scheme by, for each storage device of the plurality of storage devices, expanding a storage size of a single storage structure of the corresponding plurality of data storage structures identified to implement the second storage scheme from an initial size to a final size consuming full storage resources of the each storage device based on writing all new data of a plurality of write requests to the single storage structure in accordance with the second storage scheme, performing at least one expansion of the single storage structure within the each storage device in response to an expansion condition being met, and completing transition based on the single storage structure reaching the final size consuming the full storage resources of the each storage device.

Abstract: A user query for information regarding data of a codebase is answered by a large language model given a prompt that includes examples of code segments from the codebase that are similar to the user query. The code segments from the codebase are associated with metadata that includes both natural language text and source code. The search for the examples of code segments from the codebase is based on embeddings of code segments and associated metadata that are closely similar to an embedding of the user query and context.

Abstract: A station (STA) receives from an access point (AP) a frame indicating a start time and a wake duration of a restricted target wake time (r-TWT) service period (SP) of an r-TWT setup for the STA. The STA transitions to an awake state at or before the start time of the r-TWT SP. The STA receives, from the AP, during the r-TWT SP: a first frame comprising a traffic identifier (TID) associated with the r-TWT and having an end of service period (EOSP) field set to 0; or a trigger frame indicating an identifier of the STA. The STA transitions to a doze state, after expiration of the wake duration of the r-TWT SP, on condition of receiving, from the AP, after expiration of the wake duration of the r-TWT SP, a second frame comprising a TID associated with the r-TWT and having an EOSP field set to 1.

Abstract: The present application relates to a service decision method and a service decision device. The method includes: receiving a task request sent by a terminal, the task request including a terminal identifier, terminal location information and task information of the terminal; determining that the terminal is currently in an overlapping coverage area, generating a decision-making instruction according to the task request and a target decision network, and sending the decision-making instruction to the terminal according to the terminal identifier, the decision-making instruction being used to indicate whether a target unmanned aerial vehicle server provides to the terminal a service corresponding to the task request, and the target decision-making instruction being used by the terminal to select one server from among the target unmanned aerial vehicle server and the other unmanned aerial vehicle servers to provide the service. Using the present method can improve resource utilization.

Abstract: A collapsible rear portion of a rapid-entry shoe comprising an energy set zone having increased hardness or resiliency to bias the collapsible rear portion from an open configuration for easy donning and doffing toward a closed configuration. A method of making such a rapid-entry shoe having a collapsible rear portion is also disclosed.
Abstract: A system and device for capturing data associated with the characteristics of a golf swing through a plurality of sensors. The device is affixed to a golf club and captures data associated with the characteristics of a golf swing when the golf club is swung. The device utilizes a plurality of power states to vary the power levels provided to a plurality of sensors and computer components, and utilizes communication to extend battery life of the device.

Abstract: An aerosol-generating system may include a liquid storage portion configured to hold liquid aerosol-forming substrate, a vaporizer including a heating element with an internal passage at least partially defined by a surface of the heating element, and a micro pump configured to deliver liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the liquid storage portion to the internal passage of the heating element, such that the vaporizer is configured to heat the delivered liquid aerosol-forming substrate at the internal passage to a temperature sufficient to volatilize at least a part of the delivered liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The micro pump may be configured to deliver a particular amount of liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the internal passage based on the micro pump performing an individual pump cycle.

Abstract: A roof scaling system method of manufacture and method of application comprising three parts: a caulk gap filler, a mastic, and a top coating. All three components combine to create a singular scaled membrane when applied to a roof surface. The roof scaling system utilizes inert polyethylene fibers in a liquid silicone polymer.
Abstract: A fluid composition including a mixed metal oxide viscosifier, a clay viscosifier, and solid eutectic metal alloy particles. A method including pumping a drilling fluid downhole in a wellbore. The drilling fluid including water, a mixed metal oxide viscosifier, a clay viscosifier, and solid eutectic metal alloy particles. The method further including allowing the drilling fluid to reach a target zone with elevated permeability and forming a filter cake containing solid eutectic metal alloy particles in the target zone. The method including heating the filter cake to a temperature greater than the melting temperature of the eutectic metal alloy particles, allowing the particles to melt and become liquid eutectic metal alloy particles. The method including discontinuing heating and allowing the filter cake to cool to a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the solid eutectic metal alloy particles to produce a strengthened filter cake.
Abstract: A controller for LiDAR sensor is programmed to activate a plurality of light emitter pairs each including a first light emitter and a second light emitter by alternating between a first powering sequence and a second powering sequence. The first powering sequence includes sequentially activating the first light emitters. The second powering sequence includes sequentially activating the second light emitters. The controller is programmed to, during one of the first powering sequences, detect damage to the first light emitter of a damaged one of the light emitter pairs. The controller is programmed to, during subsequent first powering sequences, activating the second light emitter of the damaged one of the light emitter pairs in response to detected damage to the first light emitter of the damaged one of the light emitter pairs.
Abstract: A method of treating type-2 diabetes, chronic weight maintenance, or overindulgence conditions includes administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a topical composition comprising a GLP-1 receptor agonist suspended in an anhydrous suspension base vehicle to an oral cavity of a subject for oral absorption therein. The topical composition is formulated to form a self-emulsifying liposome in an aqueous environment of the oral cavity.
