Abstract: A method and related system perform operations to obtain data points in a feature space for a set of input records, determine explainability parameters for the data points and a prediction model using an explainability model, and determine a score associated with a candidate data point of the data points based on a first set of values and a second set of values determined with the explainability parameters. Some embodiments may select the candidate data point based on a result indicating that the score satisfies a threshold and store, in a memory, an indication of a candidate record associated with the candidate data point.

Abstract: Provided are methods of treating malaria comprising administration of compounds of Formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a subject in need thereof, wherein the variables are as defined herein. Also provided are uses of the compounds of Formula (I), as defined herein, for inhibiting plasmepsin X, plasmepsin IX or plasmepsin X and IX activity, for treating a Plasmodium infection, and for treating malaria. Also provided are methods of treatment further comprising administration of one or more additional anti-malarial compounds.

Abstract: A multiple layered print structure and apparatus to apply a design or image to fabric or cloth is disclosed. The structure may include one or more print layers printed on a substrate and an adhesive layer deposited on the print layer(s). The one or more print layer(s) and adhesive or resin layer may be deposited on the substrate in a pre-set pattern to form the shape profile for the design or image. The print layer(s) include inks or dyes for printing the print features and/or background color(s) of the image or design. The ink may be combined with a binder material to form the print layer(s). In some embodiments, the process includes the step of printing the multiple layered print structure using a combination of digital printing processes simplify the process for printing a design or image on fabric or cloth.

Abstract: A laser radar includes: a laser, an optical transmission system, a one-dimensional array of photo-detectors, an optical reception system, and an electronic control system. The laser emits a wavelength of light, and the optical transmission system shapes the light, and scans the beam along a fan of transmission light paths toward a target. The photo-detectors are sensitive to the wavelength of light and perform of time-of-arrival measurements. The optical reception system collects the light reflected from the target along a fan of reception light paths. The electronic control system synchronizes the scan of the beam with a respective time-of-arrival measurement from each of the photo-detectors, and analyzes the time-of-arrival measurements. The system is configured for all of the transmission light paths and all of the reception light paths to lie in one plane, with all of the reception light paths intersecting with at least one transmission light path.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for generating an executable batch record for a clinical trial study. The method includes displaying a user interface for having a production user input batch record information comprising via a production user interface (UI), and receiving packaging instructions, a bill of materials, and a lot assignment from the production user. The method further includes producing a preliminary batch record based on the information input by the production user. The method further displaying a customer UI that includes the preliminary batch record and an interface for approving the preliminary batch record, and receiving an approval of the preliminary batch record from a customer user. The method further includes producing an executable batch record for a producer to execute upon customer approval.

Abstract: A cover for hooks of fishing lures has a body having a first half and a second half, which are connected together by a resilient biased hinge. A plurality of teeth are formed on the first half and the second half and gaps are formed between each of the teeth. The first half and the second half each have a cavity for retaining one or more hooks of a fishing lure. The first half and the second half each have a sloped end face to facilitate removal of the hook and the fishing lure from the cover. Hooks and clips are provided for securing the cover to a fishing pole.

Abstract: A retrieval catheter and methods of use are described for removing a heart valve therapy such as a leaflet clip or artificial leaflet cord. The retrieval catheter can include a cutting element and a basket, piercing element, clamping mechanism, or similar grasping device. The method includes delivering a catheter to the region of the heart valve therapy and then manipulating the catheter and associated instruments to cut tissue as necessary and then remove the heart valve therapy and withdraw the catheter.

Abstract: A wearable stabilization assembly includes a sensor and a tensioning assembly that is operably coupled to the sensor. A mass is operably coupled to the tensioning assembly. The stabilization assembly also includes a power unit that is electrically coupled to the tensioning assembly, and a controller is communicatively coupled with the sensor. The controller is configured to activate the power unit to oscillate the mass via the tensioning assembly when a variable detected by the sensor is outside a predetermined variable parameter.

Abstract: A single-use fluid container includes a flexible bag having a bottom surface and one or more side surfaces. A port or aperture is formed in the bottom surface of the flexible bag that serves as an inlet port to a multi-outlet pump that is fluidically coupled to the flexible bag. The flexible bag includes one or more return ports disposed in one or more side surfaces and/or bottom surface of the flexible bag, the one or more return ports having a valve therein. One or more of the outlets of the pump are connected to conduit or tubing that also connect to one or more of the return ports. Fluid contained in the flexible bag can then be recirculated back into the flexible bag for mixing and/or agitation. Optional sparger ports may be provided for the addition of a sparging gas.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for controlling braking to avoid groan noise in a braking system. The system has a brake actuator configured to apply a friction force to a moving member, a conduit system coupled with the brake actuator, an inlet valve in the conduit system configured to control fluid pressure delivered to the brake actuator, and an outlet valve in the conduit system configured to control fluid pressure released from the brake actuator. The system includes a controller to monitor for an upper target pressure condition in the braking system, wherein the upper target pressure condition is associated with a noise zone; and operate, when the upper target pressure is detected and in a noise zone avoidance mode, the inlet valve and the outlet valve to avoid brake pressures that generate a brake noise from the friction force.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for enhancing operable functionality of input source code files from a software program by preprocessing input source code files with codeword processing operations to generate a plurality of preprocessed input source code files, identifying candidate code snippets by pruning one or more preprocessed input source code files that do not meet a similarity threshold measure for library functions stored in the system library, and identifying at least a first validated code snippet from the one or more candidate code snippets that matches a first library function stored in the system memory on the basis of at least first and second matching metrics.

Abstract: An automatic registration and color adjustment system includes a can decorator including at least a plurality of plate cylinders and a plurality of inking station; a plurality of sensors; and an automatic registration and color adjustment device communicatively coupled to the can decorator, the plurality of sensors and the plurality of temperature control elements, the automatic registration and color adjustment device structured to: receive outputs from at least the plurality of sensors; determine that an adjustment to the can decorator is to be made based on the outputs and previous adjustment information; and control the can decorator to make the determined adjustment.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating synthetic training data based on abandoned web activity data are described herein. In some aspects, the system determines that a user abandoned a user activity included in web activity data for the user. The system processes, using a first machine learning model, the abandoned web activity data to generate a probability for each entry in the abandoned web activity data. Each probability indicates a likelihood that the abandoned user activity would have been completed. The system generates a synthetic dataset that includes abandoned web activity with a probability above a threshold. The system uses the synthetic dataset to train a second machine learning model. The system tests the machine learning model using a testing dataset based on completed user activities.

The RRC messages comprise one or more control resource set (coreset) identifiers (IDs) for one or more coresets in a downlink bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell. The wireless device receives a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) indicating activation of an ordered set of two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a coreset of the one or more coresets. The coreset is with a lowest coreset ID among the one or more coreset IDs of the one or more coresets. In response to the coreset with the lowest coreset ID being activated with the two TCI states, the wireless device transmits an uplink signal with a spatial domain transmission filter determined based on a first TCI state occurring first in the ordered set of the two TCI states of the coreset.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, image-feature malicious-activity detection and access prevention may be facilitated, where an activity notification associated with a transaction triggers feature detection for at least one image related to a different transaction. In some embodiments, a first image (received in connection with a first transaction) may be associated with the first transaction, and a second image (received in connection with a second transaction) may be associated with a second transaction. In response to a malicious activity notification associated with the first transaction, an identifying characteristic (e.g., a facial feature) detected in the first image may be used to determine whether to prevent access to an account related to the second transaction. As an example, in response to determining that the identifying characteristic is present in the second image, access to the account related to the second transaction may be prevented.
