Abstract: Circuits and methods that use harvested electrostatic energy from transient: on-chip data are described in the Application. In one aspect, a method inverter circuit use harvested electrostatic charge held at any electric potential higher than the common ground reference potential of CMOS circuits in a chip, to partially drive a 0?1 logic transition at the output of the inverter at lower energy drain from the on-chip power grid than a conventional CMOS inverter with similar performance, slew rates at inverter input and output and with similar output driving transistor geometries.

Abstract: An extrusion lever mechanism is configured to change the extrusion state of a micro puree machine via electronic control. This control can be either manual or automatic, as selected by the user. The extrusion lever mechanism is also configured to provide a way for the user to retract an extruding plunger in order to remove the processing bowl from the machine.

Abstract: A motor-less leg-powered curved treadmill produced that allows people to walk, jog, run, and sprint without making any adjustments to the treadmill other than shifting the user's center of gravity forward and backwards. A closed loop treadmill belt running between front and rear pulley rollers is formed with a low friction running surface of transverse aluminum, wooden, plastic, rubber or carbon fiber slats attached to each other in a resilient fashion. An essential feature of treadmill is the concave shape of the upper portion of the belt running surface, the treadmill configurations ensure that this shape is maintained during actual use. These configurations prevent the concave upper running surface portion from being pulled taut into a flat shape between the front and rear pulley rollers. The slats of the treadmill each have an end view crossectional I-beam shape, for strength and stability of the slat positioned upon the treadmill belt.

Abstract: An illustrative controller includes: a transmitter to drive an acoustic transducer to generate a first acoustic burst and a second acoustic burst; a receiver coupled to the acoustic transducer to sense a first response to the first acoustic burst and a second response to the second acoustic burst; and a processing circuit to derive output data from the first and second responses in part by determining an offset frequency difference between the first and second responses, wherein the first acoustic burst has a first characteristic frequency and the second acoustic burst has a second characteristic frequency different from the first characteristic frequency.

Abstract: A mirror mount assembly including a mirror mount adapted to hold a mirror, a rotatable body in the mirror mount that can rotate relative to the mirror mount, a post that extends into the mirror round and is rotatable relative to the rotatable body and the mirror mount, a threaded body threadingly engaged with the post that compresses a plate against the rotatable body to apply an adjustable compression force that resists rotation of the post relative to the rotatable body, and a second plate that can be compressed against the rotatable body by a plurality of fasteners to apply an adjustable compression force that resist rotation of the rotatable body relative to the mirror mount.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a natural language query specifying an action for an assistant interface to perform and selecting one or more business large language models (LLMs) for the assistant interface to interact with to fulfill performance of the action. For each business LLM, method also includes accessing an adapter module to structure the natural language query into a respective prompt specifically formulated for the corresponding business LLM, issuing, for input to the corresponding business LLM, the respective prompt, and receiving corresponding response content from the corresponding business LLM that conveys details regarding performance of a corresponding portion of the action. The method also includes presenting, for output from the user device, presentation content based on the corresponding response content received from each corresponding business LLM.

Abstract: Adaptive cross-layer power, thermal, and performance management within augmented and/or virtual reality (AR/VR) display devices is described. AR/VR experiences use extensive system resources to provide high quality user experience (UX). Application performance modes (e.g., Application Resource Bundles “ARBs”) may be registered and for each mode, applications may request specific performance from the underlying hardware/firmware/software subsystems. As system state changes, a central service may periodically reconfigure power states of individual subsystems resulting in power, thermal, and performance tradeoffs. As the power states are reconfigured, the central service may change the application performance modes to allow applications to adapt their UX to the new system state allowing applications to build custom behaviors and provide enhanced UX over a variety of states.

Abstract: A node of a database system is operable to execute a shuffle operator based on, during a first temporal period, reserving a first amount of memory, allocating, to each of a plurality of other nodes, a corresponding number of fixed-memory units based on the first amount of memory, and process first data received from the plurality of other nodes in accordance with the corresponding number of fixed-memory units allocated to the each of the plurality of other nodes. During a second temporal period after the first temporal period, the first amount of memory is updated to a second amount of memory based on comparing an available amount of memory with a configured memory threshold, an updated corresponding number of fixed-memory units is re-allocated, and second data received from the plurality of other nodes in accordance with the corresponding number of fixed-memory units is processed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for transmitting electronic query data related to various types of information or resources may include detecting user input on a website or other platform indicating permission to receive electronic data, causing display a widget or other user interface element that pre-fills the user input with query criteria, and requesting additional query criteria from the user to generate a complete query. The method may also include receiving available data including corresponding location or other relevant data for each available resource, determining a subset of data including recommended resources for the user based on the query location or other parameters, the initial query criteria, and the additional query criteria, and transmitting the subset of data to a graphical user interface on the user's device or other platform.

Abstract: A data processing system implements receiving a first input in a spreadsheet in a spreadsheet application, detecting an indication that the first input includes first executable program code, analyzing the first executable program code to identify first references to one or more first elements of the spreadsheet in the first executable program code, requesting spreadsheet data associated with the one or more first elements of the spreadsheet from the spreadsheet application, receiving the spreadsheet data from the spreadsheet application; executing the first executable program code using the spreadsheet data referenced in the first executable program code to obtain a first program code result and causing the spreadsheet application to display the first program code result in the spreadsheet application.

Abstract: A flavored vapor generator (100, 200, 300, 400) used for an electronic smoking apparatus (10) comprises a housing; a liquid retention material (155, 255) which is filled, soaked or immersed with a flavored liquid and received inside the housing; an electric heater (150, 350, 450) for heating the liquid retention material (155, 255) to generate flavored vapor; and a sensor (156, 356, 456) for monitoring soaking or wetness conditions of the liquid retention material (155, 255) and providing signals for determining whether the flavored liquid in the liquid retention material (155, 255) is exhausted or almost exhausted.

Abstract: An apparatus for attracting an animal to an area includes a housing, recordable memory media contained within the housing for storing a pre-recorded ultrasonic sound and a prerecorded audible sound. An audible sound emitter contained within the housing is also provided for emitting the prerecorded audible sound. Further, an ultrasonic sound emitter contained within the housing for emitting the prerecorded ultrasonic sound and second pre-recorded sounds that simulate first and second distinct sounds each made by a species of animal in the environment. A user interface to play back the audible and ultrasonic sounds simultaneously to produce a blended sound for attracting an animal. The apparatus may further include a first amplifier for amplifying the audible sound and a second amplifier for amplifying the ultrasonic sound. A low pass filter for filtering the audible sounds and a high pass filter for filtering the ultrasonic sounds may also be included.

The housing includes a main body, a neck portion, and a shoulder portion. A bore extends from a first end within the main body to a distal end of the neck portion. The plunger is disposed within the bore and extends from the distal end of the neck portion. The plunger is biased in a first direction away from the shoulder portion and includes a gripper operable to extend away from an outer surface of the plunger in an expanded state to engage an inner surface of the first workpiece.

Abstract: A palletizing system includes one or more palletizers. A database is configured to maintain a stacking pattern library containing multiple stacking patterns for the palletizers. A computer is operatively connected to the database. The computer is configured to automatically select a stacking pattern for a selected one of the palletizers. In other words, the computer is configured to change the stacking pattern of one of the palletizers without changing the other palletizers. The database is configured to maintain unique palletizer identifiers used for identifying individual palletizers to promote expandability.

Abstract: Provided herein include methods and compositions for effecting a targeted genetic change in DNA in a cell. Certain aspects and embodiments relate to improving the efficiency of the targeting of modifications to specific locations in genomic or other nucleotide sequences. As described herein, nucleic acids which direct specific changes to the genome may be combined with various approaches to enhance the availability of components of the natural repair systems present in the cells being targeted for modification.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating code summaries using bifurcated model architectures. The bifurcated model architecture may comprise a first model that generates code summaries based on native code script, and the second model may compare, de-duplicate, and/or categorize the code summaries into clusters that perform the same or similar functions. That is, the systems and methods may comprise a first model (e.g., a large language model) to predict new content (e.g., a code summary for a given native script code). The outputs of the first model are then inputted into a natural language processing (NLP) model to compare the code summaries. For example, the first model of the bifurcated architecture performs a crucial pre-processing step that prevents the NLP model from generating cluster descriptions that are specific to semantic structures, programming languages, and/or code formatting.
