    Abstract: A method for authenticating payload delivery devices. The payload delivery devices can include autonomous robotic delivery vehicles or other devices. The disclosed method causes delivery devices to authenticate each other during the delivery cycle via the cloud by determining, via a processor, payload delivery mission metadata that can include a mission identification (ID), payload information, and a mission type associated with payload delivery. The method further includes generating, based on the payload delivery mission metadata, a multi-modal authentication message that, when received by a first delivery device, configures the first delivery device to authenticate a second delivery device using a token generated onboard the delivery device or received from the cloud server, receive and authenticate delivery payload associated with the payload delivery mission, and complete a delivery operation through cloud server-coordinated or independent device authentication.

The lighting system may be configured to synchronize the illumination of each individual area or zone in ultraviolet light with intermittent absence of visible light illumination in each area or zone from the existing emergency visible lighting and flashing visible light systems.

    Abstract: A container for transporting satellite equipment and other equipment into low-orbit and deep space includes vacuum rigidizing structures covering the interior of each side wall and base of the container. The vacuum rigidizing structures contain microbeads and is connected to a pump mechanism able to transfer air into or out of the vacuum rigidizing structures. Before the equipment is added to the container, air is released from the vacuum rigidizing structures. After the equipment is added, the vacuum rigidizing structures are able to be inflated enough such that the microbeads compactly conform around the equipment, preventing movement while applying minimal pressure to the equipment. The container is capped with a lid lined with aerospace-grade foam.

    Abstract: A bowl is attached to a drip irrigation system at an emitter, so that the bowl can be filled with water in an automated fashion, using the control timer and solenoid valves of the existing irrigation system. The emitter has a stem and a head. The stem extends through a hole in the sidewall of the bowl so that the head rests against the sidewall of the bowl. Preferably the head is flush with the sidewall of the bowl and forms a water-tight seal with the sidewall of the bowl. Drip irrigation tubing is attached to the stem of the emitter and connected to the drip irrigation system. A through-hole runs through the emitter to permit water to flow from the drip irrigation tubing through the stem and head into the bowl. An in-line valve between the water source and the emitter improves control of the water through the emitter.

The color sensor and CFA receive the monochromatic images. The color sensor has at least three color channels each corresponding to different colors of spectral data in the monochromatic images. The classifier node uses a predetermined classification decision tree to classify constituent pixels of the monochromatic images into different color bins as a corresponding color of interest. The color of interest may be used to perform a control action, e.g., via an automated driver assist system (ADAS) control unit or an indicator device.
