Abstract: A load control system may include control devices configured to communicate via a network. The network may include router devices (e.g., a leader device and other router devices) for enabling communication of messages throughout the network. Boundary router devices may be assigned to assist with communications around a noise source. The boundary router devices may be identified as being outside of a first range from the noise source and within a second range from the noise source. Control device within the first range that are closer to the noise source may be assigned as end devices. Abstract: A base station may transmit a report mask indicating a transmission of a layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) report limited to a time period when a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer is running for a wireless device. The base station may receive the L1-RSRP from the wireless device at a first time, in response to the DRX timer running at a predefined time period before the first time. The received L1-RSRP report may include an L1-RSRP value and a reference signal index associated with the L1-RSRP value. At second time, the base station may skip a reception of a configured L1-RSRP report transmission from the wireless device in response to the DRX timer not running at the predefined time period before the second time and the report mask.

Abstract: A battery electric system includes a battery, sensor suite, and controller. The sensor suite includes a current sensor, voltage sensor, and temperature sensor. The controller is operable for determining an estimated open circuit voltage of the battery at different time points using a current signal and a voltage signal from the current and voltage sensors, and an equivalent circuit model (ECM). The controller determines an ECM-based state of charge (SOC) of the battery at the different time points, via a calibrated SOC map, using the open circuit voltage and temperature, and calculates a sensor gain value using the ECM-based SOC and a coulomb counting-based SOC, both at the different time points. A control action is executed with respect to the battery when the sensor gain value exceeds a predetermined gain fault threshold, including generating a fault notification signal indicative of a fault of the current sensor.

Abstract: Messaging between an ultra-tag and external microcontroller. In an embodiment, a transmitting device is communicatively connected to a receiving device by a clear-to-communicate line and request line. When data to be transmitted has normal priority, the transmitting device detects whether the clear-to-communicate line indicates that the receiving device is available, indicates a request to transmit on the request line if so, waits until the receiving device is available and then indicates a request to transmit on the request line if not, after indicating a request to transmit, transmits the data when the clear-to-communicate line indicates that the receiving device is unavailable, and, after transmitting the data, releases the indication of the request to transmit on the request line. On the other hand, when the data has high priority, the transmitting device indicates a request to transmit on the request line, regardless of an indication on the clear-to-communicate line.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for video coding. In some examples, the apparatus includes processing circuitry for video encoding. The processing circuitry selects a resolution from a set of resolutions that includes a 1-integer-pel resolution and a 4-integer-pel resolution. A current block is encoded with an intra block copy mode based on the selected resolution. The processing circuitry determines a block vector of the current block. The processing circuitry determines a block vector difference of the current block based on the block vector and a block vector predictor of the current block. The block vector difference is in the selected resolution. The processing circuitry encodes prediction information indicating the selected resolution and the block vector difference.

Abstract: A system and method are presented that scans a vector graphics file for image elements that appear over a background image. The image elements represent individual objects and movement or actions for those objects. The image elements, each possibly represented by multiple shapes, arrows, lines, or shading, are identified and parsed into a standard class definition. In one embodiment, the class definitions and the rule set applied to perform this parsing are pre-defined according to the content of the SVG file. The image elements are then redrawn over a new background image, which has multiple segments that correspond to the original background image but where each segment has a different segment transformation that defines translation and/or scaling required to move between the image segments. The image elements are then scaled and translated according to the multiple segment transformations, and then are presented over the new background image.

Abstract: Described is a poll-based system that provides an on-line and mobile network of users and products, goods and services that are determined through polling each of the users. The system compares, in real-time, the current user’s polling responses to identify which most similarly match the answered questions to that of the user. As the user progressively answers questions, the system updates the matching and presentation other users and of products, goods and services. Thus, as the user answers polling questions, the selected answers are compared against the selected descriptions of other products, goods and services, or general questions, to generate a likelihood of match between the users, and also each of the products, goods and services. The profiles of products, goods and services that have a likelihood of match within a predetermined threshold are then presented, including links within the profile for specific purchases.

When in the launch configuration, the satellites are formed into a bundle, where each satellite connects by one or more simple connector along the edges of its inner facing vertical side to the satellite adjacent on each side. This composite beam structure provides a stable launch configuration independently of the launch vehicle. Each of the satellites also has one or more connectors along the bottom edge of the inner facing vertical side allowing the bundle to be attached to a ring type launch vehicle interface. Once launched, the satellites can be dispensed by releasing the connector.
