  • Patent number: 11670300
Abstract: Systems and methods are described include a robot and/or an associated computing system that can use various cues about an environment of the robot to apply a bias to increase the accuracy of speech transcription. In some implementations, audio data corresponding to a spoken instruction to a robot is received. Candidate transcriptions of the audio data are obtained. A respective action of the robot corresponding to each of the candidate transcriptions of the audio data is determined. One or more scores indicating characteristics of a potential outcome of performing the respective action corresponding to the candidate transcription of the audio data are determined for each of the candidate transcriptions of the audio data. A particular candidate transcription is selected from among the candidate transcriptions based at least on the one or more scores. The action determined for the particular candidate transcription is performed.

  • Patent number: 11671724
Abstract: An image sensor may include a pixel array, row control circuitry, and column readout circuitry. The row control circuitry may operate the pixel array in a global shutter mode of operation. In particular, timing control circuitry may provide global timing clock signals associated with a global photodiode reset event and a global photodiode charge transfer event to row driver circuitry providing control signals to each row in the array. Each driver circuitry may include a time delay circuit that delays the global timing clock signal by different amounts across the rows. Therefore, these global events may be offset on a per-row or per-row group basis, thereby mitigating power surges associated with global events. Further, by offsetting the global photodiode reset and charge transfer events using the same delay for a given row, the same global integration time may be preserved across different rows.

  • Patent number: 11671784
Abstract: Determination of material acoustic parameters for a headset is presented herein. A value of a material acoustic parameter is initialized. A simulation is performed using the value of the material acoustic parameter and a model. The model includes a three-dimensional representation of a local area occupied by the headset. During the simulation, the value of the material acoustic parameter is dynamically modified until a reverberation time calculated based on the modified value of the material acoustic parameter falls within a threshold value of a target reverberation time. The model is updated with the modified value of the material acoustic parameter. The model is used to determine one or more acoustic parameters. Audio content is rendered based on the one or more acoustic parameters so that the audio content appears originating from an object in the local area.
