Abstract: Methods and systems related to memory reduction in a system by oversubscribing physical memory shared among compute entities are provided. A portion of the memory includes a combination of a portion of a first physical memory of a first type and a logical pooled memory associated with the system. A logical pooled memory controller is configured to: (1) track both a status of whether a page of the logical pooled memory allocated to any of the plurality of compute entities is a known-pattern page and a relationship between logical memory addresses and physical memory addresses associated with any allocated logical pooled memory, and (2) allow the write operation to write data to any available space in the second physical memory of the first type only up to an extent of physical memory that corresponds to the portion of the logical pooled memory previously allocated to the compute entity.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a method for allowing a user at a first client device to provide access to restricted content on a content provider server to a user at a second client device without providing identifying information of the second client device or the user to the content provider. The second client device receives, in a messaging app, a message from the first client device comprising a link to a content item at a content provider and an identifier of a private/public key pair on the second client device. Second client device displays the link in the user interface of the messaging app and receives a user selection of the link. Second client device generates generating a digital signature for the link using the private key of the private/public key pair and sends the link and the digital signature to the content provider. The content item is then received from the content provider and displayed on the second client device.
Abstract: An authorization policy defines permissions that are exposed by a microservice. When a call is made to the microservice, it includes an access token. An application identifier uniquely identifying the calling application is extracted from the token. An access pattern, used by the calling application to obtain the access token and make the call to the microservice, is identified. Permissions that may be granted to the calling application are identified in the authorization policy based upon the application identifier and the access pattern that is identified. An authorization decision is made as to whether to authorize the call, based upon the granted permissions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for magnetoresistive asymmetry (MRA) compensation using a digital compensation scheme. In certain embodiments, a method may comprise receiving an analog signal at a continuous-time front end (CTFE) circuit, and performing analog offset compensation to constrain an extremum of the analog signal to adjust a dynamic range based on an input range of an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), rather than to modify the analog signal to have a zero mean. The method may further comprise converting the analog signal to a digital sample sequence via the ADC; performing, via a digital MRA compensation circuit, digital MRA compensation on the digital sample sequence; receiving, via a digital backend (DBE) subsystem, the digital sample sequence prior to digital MRA compensation; and generating, via a DBE, a bit sequence corresponding to the analog signal based on an output of the DBE subsystem and an output of the digital MRA compensation circuit.

The method includes sending the retransmission wireless data to the receiver node.

Abstract: An integrated, membrane-based process to produce purified water and conversion of salt to high value chemicals from oil and gas well produced water is described. A liquid stream including water and dissolved salt is flowed through pretreatment units and one or more desalination and concentration units which remove at least a portion of the water to form a brine enriched in dissolved salt. The purified high-density brine may be subjected to electrically-enforced salt dissociation techniques to produce chemicals from oil and gas produced water.

In one example, the axle system includes a gearbox housing at least partially enclosing a gearbox and a planetary gearset that is rotationally coupled to an output of the gearbox and positioned co-axial with a rotational axis of an axle shaft in a differential. The planetary gearset includes a ring gear grounded by a planetary support that is attached to the gearbox housing.
