Abstract: A non-volatile memory system erasing groups of connected memory cells separately performs erase verify for memory cells connected to even word lines to generate even results and erase verify for memory cells connected to odd word lines to generate odd results. The even results and the odd results are used to determine if the erase verify process indicates that the erasing has successful completed. In addition, for each group of connected memory cells, a last even result for the group is compared to a last odd result for the group. Even if the erase verify indicated that the erasing has successfully completed, the system may determine that the erasing failed (i.e. due to a defect) if the number of groups of connected memory cells that have the last even result different than the last odd result is greater than a limit.
Abstract: A cutting blade assembly establishes a bidirectional and/or multifaceted scissor-type cutting action to efficiently and effectively process various types of debris encountered by the cutting blade assembly. The assembly includes a cutting plate and a cutting hub configured for relative rotation. A cutting slot is formed in the cutting plate and intersects the axial face to define a cutting edge at the intersection of the cutting slot and the axial face. The cutting hub has a cutting arm positioned adjacent to the axial face. When the cutting plate and the cutting hub undergo relative rotation, the cutting arm passes adjacent to the cutting edge to perform a scissor-type cutting action.

Abstract: Usage data is collected that indicates which code packages are used during a given session. A correlation between the code packages is generated based on the usage data. The code packages are bundled based upon the correlation so that code packages that are normally used together are bundled together. When a request is received, the bundle to which the request belongs is downloaded.
Abstract: Example landing platform systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a landing platform includes a top plate configured to support an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), where the top plate has a plurality of slots therethrough. A rotating plate is located adjacent the top plate and includes multiple centering pins extending therefrom and extending through the plurality of slots in the top plate. A motor is capable of rotating the rotating plate, which causes the multiple centering pins to center the UAV on the top plate.

Abstract: Neurostimulation devices and methods provide a plurality of electrodes placed around a patient head such that electrode have electrical paths through the brain to other electrodes. A controller controls current between sets of opposing electrodes through the patient brain to selectively stimulate a region of interest of the patient brain. Different sets of electrodes are used to provide electrical current pulse with different polarities such that a net potential is exposed to a region of interest in the brain that it above a neuron stimulation threshold while a net potential exposed to tissue outside the region of interest is below the threshold.

Abstract: A sensor apparatus may include a conduit structure including an inner surface defining a conduit extending through an interior of the conduit structure, an inlet structure coupled to an end of the conduit structure, and a plurality of sensor devices in hydrodynamic contact with the conduit. The inlet structure may couple with an outlet end of an external tobacco element to hold the outlet end of the external tobacco element in fluid communication with an inlet opening of the conduit structure, such that the conduit structure may receive a generated aerosol from the external tobacco element at the inlet opening, and draw an instance of aerosol through the conduit towards an outlet opening. The instance of aerosol may include at least a portion of the generated aerosol. Each sensor device may generate sensor data indicating a pressure of the instance of aerosol through a separate portion of the conduit.

Abstract: For generating visual enhancement suggestions for source content, a system performs storing, in a data storage, a plurality of context data sets, each context data set including a set of visual enhancements and a context for selecting the set of visual enhancements; receiving the source content including source content data and source attribute data; providing, to an artificial intelligence (AI) engine, the received source content, the AI engine configured to select, based on the source content and the context data sets, a first set of visual enhancements and apply the selected first set of visual enhancements to the source content to generate a first visual enhancement suggestion for the source content; extracting, from the AI engine, the first visual enhancement suggestion; and causing the first visual enhancement suggestion to be displayed via a display of a user device.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for allocating memory. A portion of memory may be allocated by: selecting a type of memory to allocate in a client device from a group of memory types in response to a memory allocation request and/or in response to a request to access a portion of an address space, wherein the selection of the type of memory to allocate is based on an available memory determination; selecting a portion of the local primary memory, a portion of the external primary memory, or a portion of the memory-mapped file for the portion of memory to allocate at the client device depending on the selected type of memory; and mapping at least the selected portion to the address space.

Abstract: A sportsbook odds optimization and parlay correlation analysis platform may be provided. The platform may be configured to assess the correlation value for proposition bet parlays. The platform may be employed by a sportsbooks or other betting event hosting establishment. The platform may be configured to establish parameters for processing at least one parlay offered to the establishment. The parameters may include, for example, but not be limited to, a correlation value and a payout type. Next, at least one parlay may be received for processing. A correlation value and a payout value associated with the at least one parlay may be calculated. The platform may be configured to determine whether to accept or decline the at least one parlay offering based on the parameters defined by the establishment. The at least one parlay may then be accepted or declined in accordance to the determination.

Abstract: A method of decoding JVET video, comprising defining a coding unit (CU) template within a decoded area of a video frame, the CU template being positioned above and/or to the left of a current decoding position for which data was intra predicted, defining a search window within the decoded area, the search window being adjacent to the CU template, generating a plurality of candidate prediction templates based on pixel values in the search window, each of the plurality of candidate prediction templates being generated using different intra prediction modes, calculating a matching cost between the CU template and each of the plurality of candidate prediction templates, selecting an intra prediction mode that generated the candidate prediction template that had the lowest matching cost relative to the CU template, and generating a prediction CU for the current decoding position based on the intra prediction mode.
Abstract: Described is a method that involves operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to begin a flight, where the UAV relies on a navigation system to navigate to a destination. During the flight, the method involves operating a camera to capture images of the UAV's environment, and analyzing the images to detect features in the environment. The method also involves establishing a correlation between features detected in different images, and using location information from the navigation system to localize a feature detected in different images. Further, the method involves generating a flight log that includes the localized feature. Also, the method involves detecting a failure involving the navigation system, and responsively operating the camera to capture a post-failure image. The method also involves identifying one or more features in the post-failure image, and determining a location of the UAV based on a relationship between an identified feature and a localized feature.
