Abstract: Aspects of systems and methods for providing contextual and event driven insights are provided. The system monitors information about the users and their conversations. Upon receiving a natural language request for information for a topic, the system utilizes a model to extract one or more topics from the request. The system utilizes the topic to query a resource for candidate users with knowledge about the topic. The system then queries a resource to identify candidate content items associated with the topic and the candidate users. Thereafter, the system refines the candidate users and the candidate content items to identify relevant users and content items that are meaningful to the user.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a semiconductor device can include a plurality of vertical transistor segments disposed in an active region of a semiconductor region. The plurality of vertical transistor segments can include respective gate electrodes. A first dielectric can be disposed on the active region. An electrically conductive grid can be disposed on the first dielectric. The electrically conductive grid can be electrically coupled with the respective gate electrodes using a plurality of conductive contacts formed through the first dielectric. A second dielectric can be disposed on the electrically conductive grid and the first dielectric. A conductive metal layer can be disposed on the second dielectric layer. The conductive metal layer can include a portion that is electrically coupled with the respective gate electrodes through the electrically conductive grid using at least one conductive contact to the electrically conductive grid formed through the second dielectric.
Abstract: Practitioners who use sacral neuromodulation on a regular basis have sought ways to simplify the procedure and performing percutaneous nerve evaluations in the office setting have become increasingly more popular. However, many practitioners are limited by the lack of availability of fluoroscopy in the office setting and do not feel comfortable executing the procedure without it, for a variety of reasons. The disclosed system and method demonstrate an avenue to circumvent the lack of fluoroscopic guidance in the office setting enabling execution of percutaneous nerve evaluations successfully and efficiently.
Abstract: A method of partitioning a video coding block for JVET, comprising representing a JVET coding tree unit as a root node in a quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) structure that can have a quadtree branching from the root node and binary trees branching from each of the quadtree's leaf nodes using asymmetric binary partitioning to split a coding unit represented by a quadtree leaf node into two child coding units of unequal size, representing the two child coding units as leaf nodes in a binary tree branching from the quadtree leaf node and coding the child coding units represented by leaf nodes of the binary tree with JVET, wherein further partitioning of child coding units split from quadtree leaf nodes via asymmetric binary partitioning is disallowed.
Abstract: A solid state switch (SSS) monitoring system of an electronic device includes a SSS sensing component that is electrically coupled to a solid state switch. The SSS sensing component generates a switch state signal to indicate a corresponding one of an actuated and an unactuated state of the solid state switch. A controller is communicatively coupled to the SSS sensing component. The controller restarts the SSS sensing component in response to determining that the SSS sensing component is in an inoperative state.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for diagnosing a heating element coupled to a canister of an evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system. In one example, a method (or system) may include evacuating the canister at different temperature conditions, and diagnosing the heating element based on the different times taken to evacuate the canister at the different temperature conditions.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for nonlinear calibration of quantum computing apparatus. In one aspect, elements in a set of experimental data correspond to a respective configuration of control biases for the quantum computing apparatus. An initial physical model comprising one or more model parameters of the quantum computing apparatus is defined. The model is iteratively adjusted to determine a revised physical model, where at each iteration: a set of predictive data corresponding to the set of experimental data is generated, and elements in the predictive data represent a difference between the two smallest eigenvalues of a Hamiltonian characterizing the system qubits for the previous iteration, and are dependent on at least one model parameter of the physical model for the previous iteration; and the model for the previous iteration is adjusted using the obtained experimental data and the generated set of predictive data for the iteration.

Abstract: The present invention is to a packer plug that can be tripped into a particular location in a well bore and set using slips or expansion rings and packer elements. The plug presents little flow resistance because of its wide inner diameter throat through the mandrel. A ball seat at an upper end allows for the sealing of the interior passage. The ball can be flowed upward or dissolved to remove the seal and allow flow through the plug.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated filtering and normalization of logging data for improved drilling performance may enable smoothing and amplitude scaling of log data for meaningful comparison and analysis without scaling artefacts. The logging data may be collected from downhole sensors or may be recorded by a control system used for drilling. Abstract: An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body. The antenna body includes a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes adjusting parameters of a three-dimensional geometry corresponding to a first person to make the three-dimensional geometry represent a desired pose for the first person, accessing a neural texture encoding an appearance of the first person, generating a first rendered neural texture based on a mapping between (1) a portion of the three-dimensional geometry that is visible from a viewing direction and (2) the neural texture, generating a second rendered neural texture by processing the first rendered neural texture using a first neural network, determining normal information associated with the portion of the three-dimensional geometry that is visible from the viewing direction, and generating a rendered image for the first person in the desired pose by processing the second rendered neural texture and the normal information using a second neural network.
