In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, during a communication session between a first computing device and a second computing device, first media content from the communication session. The method further includes determining a first information item for display in the communication session based at least in part on the first media content. The method further includes sending a first command to at least one of the first computing device and the second computing device to display the first information item.

Abstract: A method of making a semiconductor device includes forming a fin mask layer on a semiconductor layer, forming a dummy gate over the fin mask layer, and forming source and drain regions on opposite sides of the dummy gate. The dummy gate is removed and the underlying fin mask layer is used to define a plurality of fins in the semiconductor layer. A gate is formed over the plurality of fins.

Abstract: A seed planter for creating and planting together the combination of both seed and contents of a seed growing environment. The seed planter includes, for example, a wheeled frame configured with at least one soil opener and at least one soil closer for planting a field. A seed growing environment aggregator assembly has at least one input opening for receiving a plantable portion of a seed growth medium and seed from the seed hopper and at least one discharge opening for discharging an aggregation of the plantable portion of the seed growth medium and seed to the at least one soil opener for planting a desired growing environment in the field.

Abstract: A metrology frame configured to receive and secure a workpiece in preparation for an interferometric determination of a spatial profile of the workpiece with the use of one or more retroreflectors removably cooperated with the frame in known pre-determined spatial relationship with respect the fiducial features of not only the workpiece but those of the metrology frame itself The metrology frame is necessarily devoid of a holographic optical element, while the measurement apparatus containing such metrology frame employs a hologram configured to generate at least one alignment optical wavefront that spatially converges on the retroreflector.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to new and improved industrial containment bags wherein the improvement comprises providing methods and technologies for improving the integrity of such bags during processes designed for lifting, transporting storing and/or disposing of the same. In certain embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for improving the sealing capabilities of the bag's closure systems. In other embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for assessing the load balance of materials being contained in such industrial containment bags; and thereafter, compensating for any significant load imbalances. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing, using, filling, lifting, transporting, storing, and/or disposing of such new and improved industrial containment bags.

Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive image data from a camera, generate a depth map from the image data, detect an object in the image data, apply a bounding box circumscribing the object to the depth map, mask the depth map by setting depth values for pixels in the bounding box in the depth map to a depth value of a closest pixel in the bounding box, and determine a distance to the object based on the masked depth map. The closest pixel is closest to the camera of the pixels in the bounding box.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club heady may include a body portion having an interior cavity with a front opening, a face portion coupled to the front opening to close the interior cavity, a plurality of back groove portions on a back surface of the face portion, a mass portion coupled to the body portion, a polymer filler material in the interior cavity, and a face support portion coupled to the back surface of the face portion. Each groove portion of the plurality of back groove portions is located between the face support portion and a perimeter edge of the face portion. A cover structure is disposed on top of the waveguide structure to conceal the waveguide structure and speaker within the exterior housing. The cover structure has a tilted bottom surface configured to be suspended above the waveguide structure and to be separated by a first space. Sound waves projected from an upper portion of the speaker are reflected by the tilted bottom surface and are guided through the first space to exit the device from a speaker grill portion located on a rear side of the exterior housing.

Abstract: A method for calibrating flow meters measuring fluid passing through a pipe wherein fluid pressures are detected and used to determine a volume or mass flow rate using an energy correlation calculation. The energy correlation calculation equates a change in potential energy for the flowing fluid with a change in kinetic energy for the flowing fluid. The energy correlation method of calculating flow rate offers lower measurement uncertainty than calculating flow by the Reynolds number versus discharge coefficient method.

The tracked devices may each transmit beacon messages. The lighting control devices may receive the beacon message. The lighting control devices may measure a communication quality metric of each of the beacon messages, and process the measured communication quality metrics received over a period of time to determine a processed communication quality metric for the tracked device. The lighting control devices may transmit tracking data to the system controller. The system controller may determine a location of the tracked device. For example, the system controller may determine the location of the tracked device via trilateration.

Abstract: Techniques to utilize excess resources in a cloud system, such as by enabling an auxiliary resource utilizer to use resources while they are not needed to support primary resource utilizers, are described herein. Some embodiments are directed to identifying and allocating excess capacity of resources in a cloud system to auxiliary resource utilizers based on one or more policies. In various embodiments, excess resources in one or more of the set of resources in the cloud system, or cloud resources, may be determined based on monitoring utilization of the cloud resources by the primary resource utilizers. In many embodiments, an auxiliary resource utilizer that is in compliance with a set of utilization policies may be identified and the excess resources may be allocated to the auxiliary resource utilizer.
