Patent number: 11627687Abstract: A multiple phase cooling system is described for an electronic rack, a cluster of servers, and for a data centers. An inlet of a 3-way flow control valve (FCV) is coupled to a main coolant source. A first outlet of the FCV is coupled to a single-phase cooling system and a second outlet of the FCV is coupled to a two-phase cooling system. The FCV is configured to adjust an amount of coolant between the single-phase cooling system and the two-phase cooling system. Upon detecting a rise in vapor pressure in a return line of the two-phase cooling system, the FCV can be adjusted to direct more coolant to the two-phase cooling system and less coolant to the single-phase system. The FCV can continuously monitor the vapor pressure and adjust the amount of coolant to each cooling system accordingly.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2021Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: BAIDU USA LLCInventor: Tianyi Gao

Patent number: 11625797Abstract: A system provides interactive and automated features to aid in planning, management, and execution of events within venues. Venue hardscapes are geolocated, parsed, and stored to be used when configuring events. During event configuration a venue softscape may be automatically generated and applied to the venue hardscape to produce an initial layout. The initial layout may be modified to create and assign booths to exhibitors by multiple coordinators in parallel. Geolocation of hardscaped may be extended into softscapes, such that location data may be maintained for temporary structures such as booths. Conflicts may be avoided by implementing one or more conflict prevention features, including enforcement of universal layouts, booth locking, synchronous session management, automatic identifier assignment to preserve locational correspondence, booth and layout validation, and others.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2020Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: MapYourShow, LLCInventors: John Sullivan, Drew Martin, Julie Baker

Patent number: 11625845Abstract: A depth measurement assembly (DMA) includes an illumination source that projects pulses of light (e.g., structured light) at a temporal pulsing frequency into a local area. The DMA includes a sensor that capture images of the pulses of light reflected from the local area and determines, using one or more of the captured images, one or more TOF phase shifts for the pulses of light. The DMA includes a controller coupled to the sensor and configured to determine a first set of estimated radial distances to an object in the local area based on the one or more TOF phase shifts. The controller determines a second estimated radial distance to the object based on an encoding of structured light and at least one of the captured images. The controller selects an estimated radial distance from the first set of radial distances.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2021Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: META PLATFORMS TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventor: Michael Hall

Patent number: 11625557Abstract: Described is a system for learning object labels for control of an autonomous platform. Pseudo-task optimization is performed to identify an optimal pseudo-task for each source model of one or more source models. An initial target network is trained using the optimal pseudo-task. Source image components are extracted from source models, and an attribute dictionary of attributes is generated from the source image components. Using zero-shot attribution distillation, the unlabeled target data is aligned with the source models similar to the unlabeled target data. The unlabeled target data are mapped onto attributes in the attribute dictionary. A new target network is generated from the mapping, and the new target network is used to assign an object label to an object in the unlabeled target data. The autonomous platform is controlled based on the object label.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2020Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: HRL LABORATORIES, LLCInventors: Heiko Hoffmann, Soheil Kolouri

Patent number: 11625157Abstract: Implementations relate to continuation of playback of media content by different devices. In some implementations, a method includes causing a stream of media content data to be received from a stream source and output by a first device to a user, where a portion of the data is buffered on the first device before output. An indication is detected that the user has stopped using the first device for output of the content data. A place marker indicates a portion of the content that is output approximately at the time of the indication. The method causes the stream of content data to be received and output by a second device starting at the place marker portion. The buffered content data is sent from the first device to the second device for output by the second device before unbuffered portions of the content data received from the stream source.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2022Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Justin Lewis, Ruxandra Georgiana Davies

Patent number: 11623325Abstract: A rotary radial wire brush made of an annular center disc hub having 32 holes circumferentially spaced apart two radially offset distances from a center about which the brush rotates with a brush wire formed of between 22 and 34 filaments or bristles providing increased material removal rates during a longer useful operating life. A preferred brush has a hub with radially outermost openings larger in size than radially innermost openings causing the brush wire anchored by its twist knot thereto to be more flexible and extend farther radially outwardly than a shorter stiffer more aggressive wire produced by anchoring via a longer twist knot to radially innermost openings. Such a construction produces a rotary brush of the invention with brush wires of alternating flexible and aggressive construction increasing surface finish and material removal rates while having increased brush life.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2018Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: OSBORN, LLCInventors: Brian Keiser, Brad Vanwinkle, Zachary Baumgardner, Zachary Small, Shane Clifford

Patent number: 11627043Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media which have instructions stored for execution on a processor, for automating the commissioning of a transport network element within a network. A system configured according to this disclosure can be an Automated Commissioning Tool which can initiate communications with a network element on the network. The Automated Commissioning Tool can then retrieve updated firmware corresponding to the network element and configure the network element to have the updated firmware. Finally, the Automated Commissioning Tool can determine, from a network plan, a first port on the network element which is to be connected via a cross-connect to a second port on the network element and establish the cross-connect on the network element. At this point the network element may be commissioned to operate as a transport network element within the network.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2021Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: Level 3 Communications, LLCInventors: Bernie C.
