Abstract: Disclosed herein is an identity network that provides a universal, digital identity for users to be authenticated by an identity provider for relying parties upon sign-in to the relying party. The identity network receives the sign-in request from a relying party for a user using a user device. The identity network can provide a session identifier to the relying party for the request and launch an identity provider application associated with the user via a software development kit in the relying party application. The user may sign-in to the identity provider via the software development kit, thereby authenticating the user for the relying party. Additionally, the identity provider may generate a risk validation score and provide it to the relying party that provides a confidence value that the user is validly using the user device and a risk score based on device activity on the identity network.

Abstract: A system and method is presented for product substantiation and promotion redemption. A purchased product list is transmitted from a retail store system to a promotion analysis server along with a user identifier. The promotion analysis server identifies promotions available to the user, and then considers whether the benefits under the promotions are still available to the user. Discounts for available promotions related to the purchased product list are calculated and transmitted to the retail store system for deduction from the transactions. An approved product list can be provided that filters the purchased product list before transmittal. The approved product list can include promotions from a plurality of programs.

  • Publication number: 20230106235
Abstract: A two-way load control system comprises a power device, such as a load control device for controlling an electrical load receiving power from an AC power source, and a controller adapted to be coupled in series between the source and the power device. The load control system may be installed without requiring any additional wires to be run, and is easily configured without the need for a computer or an advanced commissioning procedure. The power device receives both power and communication over two wires. The controller generates a phase-control voltage and transmits a forward digital message to the power device by encoding digital information in timing edges of the phase-control voltage. The power device transmits a reverse digital message to the controller via the power wiring.

Abstract: In a method, coded information of a current block and neighboring blocks of the current block in a current picture is received from a coded video bitstream. A list of merge candidates of the current block is generated based on the neighboring blocks of the current block. The list of merge candidates of the current block is divided into a plurality of subgroups. Each of the plurality of subgroups includes one or more merge candidates. The one or more merge candidates are ordered within each subgroup by a respective template matching (TM) cost associated with each of the one or more merge candidates. The current block is reconstructed based on a merge candidate selected from the list of merge candidates of the current block.

  • Publication number: 20230108095
Abstract: Example methods relate to avoiding beacon collisions between a repeater and a root AP, optimizing traffic flows based on buffers queued within hardware, and/or optimizing transmissions through a trigger-based mechanism. An example method includes determining loads on buffers within a repeater configured to communicate according to a DBVC protocol. The loads on the buffers correspond to data to be transmitted within upstream and downstream networks. The method includes determining whether to adjust a DBVC duty cycle of the repeater based on the loads. The DBVC duty cycle includes: an on channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on an on channel to total time on both the on and off channels; or an off channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on the off channel to total time on both the on and off channels. The method includes adjusting the DBVC duty cycle of the repeater.

  • Publication number: 20230105587
Abstract: An access object service receives a communication of a stream of fingerprints, corresponding to segments of a file, from a source of the file, and identifies sequential fingerprints in the stream of fingerprints as a group of fingerprints. The access object service identifies a similarity group identifier for the group of fingerprints. The access object service communicates the group of fingerprints to a deduplication service associated with a range of similarity group identifiers that include the similarity group identifier. The deduplication service identifies fingerprints in the group of fingerprints which are missing from fingerprint storage. The deduplication service communicates the identified fingerprints to the access object service, which communicates a request for segments of the file, corresponding to the identified fingerprints, to the source of the file. The deduplication service receives a communication of the requested segments from the source of the file and stores the requested segments.
