  • Patent number: 11600367
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for a medical diagnostic platform. The system accesses data collected on one or more source server systems and selectively extracts user information according to the desired criteria of an operator or user. The system generates a secure, user database, wherein the user database comprises the selectively extracted user information, such as medical, financial, and demographic information, from multiple source server systems creating a centralized database of user information stored in a single location. The system further generates a medical diagnostic analysis of the user in comparison to similar users and displays recommended and extrapolated results for diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and costs for the user based on the history of the similar users.

  • Patent number: 11598388
Abstract: An energy absorbing strut having, a first end coupled with an inner cylinder, and a second end connected with a hollow rod extending within the inner cylinder. A piston is carried by the rod having an outer surface sealing against an inside diameter of the inner cylinder and forming a compression chamber and a rebound chamber bounded by the piston, the rod having an internal passageway communicating between the compression chamber and the rebound chamber. An inertial mass carried by the rod movable axially on the rod between a closed position against and annular rod passageway and an open position opening the rod passageway and allowing the flow of a hydraulic fluid between the compression chamber and the rebound chamber. A spring acts on the inertial mass biasing the inertial mass toward the closed position. The energy absorbing strut may be used in a blast mitigation system for a military vehicle or other applications for providing shock isolation between two structures.

  • Patent number: 11601010
Abstract: A lighting control system includes a control group including a plurality of member devices which includes a power monitor and an emergency luminaire. The power monitor includes a power supply driven by a normal power source. The power monitor implements the following function. Transmit, via a wireless lighting control network, a normal power active message to the control group repeatedly at a predetermined time interval. The emergency luminaire includes an emergency light source to continuously emit illumination lighting during an emergency, and a power supply driven by an emergency power line. The emergency luminaire implements the following functions. Track an active message gap time. Reset the active message gap time after receiving the normal power active message. • Patent number: 11601327
Abstract: A network-management system capable of reducing negative impacts of natural disasters on network services. In an example embodiment, in response to an indication of potential failure of one or more network resources in a meteorological event, the network controller operates to orchestrate re-hosting of affected VNFs and perform SDN-based reconfiguration of switches to adapt the traffic flows to the re-hosted VNFs. The indication of potential failure can be provided, e.g., by a specialized application capable of estimating the probabilities of failure for individual network resources based on a plurality of inputs, such as digital weather forecasts for the corresponding geographical area, geographical locations of individual network resources, tolerances of different network resources to specific environmental conditions, previous history of network damage in the same geographical area, alerts from power suppliers, etc.

  • Patent number: 11598426
Abstract: A rotary joint for connecting a stationary body to a rotating body. The rotary joint has a rotatable wear plate connectable to the rotating body and a seal ring seated in the wear plate. A spring-biased piston engages the seal ring against the wear plate by compressed springs between an end flange and the piston. The end flange and the piston are at least partially disposed within a shroud, wherein the shroud has at least one aperture extending there through. Alignment rings are formed on the piston and viewable through the aperture in the shroud to confirm the proper distance between the end flange and the piston and the proper force applied to the piston. A seal wear indicator is connected to the piston and moves between an exposed position, wherein the seal ring is not worn, and a non-exposed position, wherein the seal ring is worn.

  • Patent number: 11600092
Abstract: A system, apparatus, method, and computer program product that enhances the efficiency and quality of matches between intellectual content generated by authors and published by peer-reviewed journals. Stable matches between works and stakeholders are modelled, in a nonbinding manner, via a stable-matching problem (Gale-Shapley) algorithm. Via bulletin-board systems acting upon deidentified data, the LONGITUDE function enables journal editors to proactively and reliably commit time and other resources to manuscripts that are most mature and otherwise meritorious. Via the SCRIMSHAW function, COMPASS assists authors in drafting and editing papers that are based on quality-control and journal author guidelines and hence more likely to be accepted by journals. Functions of COMPASS are divisible into two major domains: “matching” and “dispatching.” The “matching” is fulfilled by three subfunctions: LONGITUDE, DECK WEDDING, and FATHOM.

  • Patent number: 11601285
Abstract: Described is a system (and method) for securely authorizing service level access to a backup system using an access key. The service level access (or access via a service account) may provide a user with an enhanced set of privileges to perform troubleshooting operations on the backup system. Such privileges may be unlocked by allowing a user to perform operations using an unrestricted interface of the backup system such as an operating system shell. To authorize such access, the system may provide a limited (or specialized) access key. The access key may be narrowly tailored to only provide access to a particular backup system and only remain viable for a limited duration. Accordingly, the access key may be configured to embed a system identifier, a timestamp, and a digital signature, which may be independently verifiable by the backup system before granting service level access.
