  • Patent number: 11598671
Abstract: A method for estimating human body temperature includes receiving, via a thermal camera, one or more thermal images captured of a real-world environment, the one or more thermal images including thermal intensity values for each of a plurality of pixels. Positions of a plurality of human faces are identified in the one or more thermal images. A distribution of thermal intensity values of the plurality of human faces is determined. A position of a test human face of a test human subject is identified within a subsequent thermal image. One or more test thermal intensity values of one or more pixels corresponding to the test human face are identified. An indication of a body temperature of the test human subject is reported based on a comparison of the one or more test thermal intensity values and the distribution of thermal intensity values of the plurality of human faces.

  • Patent number: 11599807
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to interactive search training. A training canvas comprises results associated with a search query. The training canvas may be used as part of a training session that occurs during normal use of a search platform. When the search platform is first used, the results may be provided based on an existing model. An irrelevant result may be removed from the training canvas, such that a replacement result is added in its place. Additionally, results may be reordered, thereby indicating a ranking with which results should be displayed. Such interactions with the training canvas may be used to generate training data, such that a new model is trained accordingly. Thus, interactions with the training canvas yield high-quality training data that is usable to generate a model having equal or greater performance than a model that was trained using an equivalent amount of implicit training data.

  • Patent number: 11597955
Abstract: An improved dry grind system and method for producing a sugar stream from grains or similar carbohydrate sources and/or residues, such as for biofuel production. In particular, a sugar/carbohydrate stream, which includes a desired Dextrose Equivalent (DE) where DE describes the degree of conversion of starch to dextrose (aka glucose) and/or has had removed therefrom an undesirable amount of unfermentable components, can be produced after saccharification and prior to fermentation (or other sugar conversion process), with such sugar stream being available for biofuel production, e.g., alcohol production, or other processes. In addition, the systems and methods also can involve the removal of certain grain components, e.g., corn kernel components, including protein, oil and/or fiber, prior to fermentation or other conversion systems. In other words, sugar stream production and/or grain component separation occurs on the front end of the system and method.
