Abstract: An apparatus implementable on a firearm includes a lens, a light source, a control unit coupled to control the light source to project an image of an aim point onto the lens, and a housing structure that houses the lens, the light source, and the control unit, with a portion of the housing structure forming a shroud that surrounds the lens. The lens includes an ultraviolet (UV)-sensitive lens that darkens responsive to sensing a UV light. Alternatively, or additionally, the shroud is sensitive to the UV light and a color of the shroud darkens responsive to sensing the UV light.

Abstract: A method for communication session management by a session controller is described. Usage data associated with a video communication session is received for data stream handlers of a first network topology, which handle data streams of the video communication session at a first time. The first network topology includes a plurality of client devices and at least a first media server. A second network topology is determined based on the usage data to handle the data streams when a network parameter and/or an application parameter reaches a corresponding update threshold. Data stream handlers of the second network topology include at least a second media server. The data stream handlers of the second network topology are configured to handle the data streams at a second time, including instructing the first media server to offload at least some of the data streams to the second media server.

Abstract: A controlled and closed agricultural system includes a growing space and an air handling system having an enthalpy wheel and cooling coil. The enthalpy wheel is capable of transferring sensible and latent heat and is positioned in and rotatable through a recirculating air duct and an outside air duct. The recirculating air duct is in fluid connection with the growing space and one or more recirculation fans, while the outside air duct is in fluid connection with one or more outside air fans positioned to cause outside air to flow countercurrent to recirculating air. A cooling coil is positioned within the recirculating air duct, downstream of and in series with the enthalpy wheel. The cooling coil circulates a heat transfer fluid to remove additional heat from the recirculating air.

Abstract: Coil bobbins for balanced armature receivers are disclosed. The balanced armature receiver bobbin includes a coil support member, at least two flanges, and a shoulder. The coil support member has an armature passage extending between a first end and a second end thereof. The flanges extending radially from the coil support member such that the first flange extends from the coil support member proximate the first end and the second flange extends from the coil support member proximate the second end. The shoulder extends from the first flange, with the first flange located between the shoulder and the coil support member. The shoulder has a plurality of conductive coil pads disposed on a bottom portion thereof.

In some embodiments, the method includes generating, by a server, a viseme and corresponding intensity pair based at least on one of a clean vocal track or corresponding transcription. The method may include generating, by the server, a compressed audio file based at least on one of the viseme, the corresponding intensity, music, or visual offset. The method may further include generating, by the server or a client end application, a buffer of raw pulse-code modulated (PCM) data based on decoding at least a part of the compressed audio file, where the viseme is scheduled to align with a corresponding phoneme.

The non-nicotine pod assembly has upstream and downstream ends and is configured to hold a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The upstream end may define at least one upstream recess, and the downstream end may define at least one downstream recess. The device body defines a through hole configured to receive the non-nicotine pod assembly. The through hole includes an upstream sidewall and a downstream sidewall. The upstream sidewall may include at least one upstream protrusion, and the downstream sidewall may include at least one downstream protrusion. Abstract: Methods and apparatus for temperature sensing in a detector system. Dark current from pixels in a pixel array of the detector system can be filtered to remove noise and processed to determine a temperature of the pixel array from the filtered dark current. Calibration of the dark current for a range of temperatures can be performed. In embodiments, the pixels comprise photodiodes.

Abstract: Website assets are optimized for vulnerability scanning using node centrality techniques. A digital footprint of network nodes associated with a domain is determined. A similarity metric is defined using a weighted linear combination of features of a node. After determining a similarity metric for pairs of related nodes in the digital footprint of a domain, a set of centroids is determined. The reduced set of centroids is acted upon for vulnerability scanning.

Abstract: A lighting control system includes a control group including a plurality of member devices which includes a power monitor and an emergency luminaire. The power monitor includes a power supply driven by a normal power source. The power monitor implements the following function. Transmit, via a wireless lighting control network, a normal power active message to the control group repeatedly at a predetermined time interval. The emergency luminaire includes an emergency light source to continuously emit illumination lighting during an emergency, and a power supply driven by an emergency power line. The emergency luminaire implements the following functions. Track an active message gap time. Reset the active message gap time after receiving the normal power active message. In response to the tracked active message gap time exceeding an active message timeout, enter an emergency mode active state by controlling the emergency light source to continuously emit the illumination lighting.

Abstract: A network-management system capable of reducing negative impacts of natural disasters on network services. In an example embodiment, in response to an indication of potential failure of one or more network resources in a meteorological event, the network controller operates to orchestrate re-hosting of affected VNFs and perform SDN-based reconfiguration of switches to adapt the traffic flows to the re-hosted VNFs. The indication of potential failure can be provided, e.g., by a specialized application capable of estimating the probabilities of failure for individual network resources based on a plurality of inputs, such as digital weather forecasts for the corresponding geographical area, geographical locations of individual network resources, tolerances of different network resources to specific environmental conditions, previous history of network damage in the same geographical area, alerts from power suppliers, etc.

Threads outside the finish portion engage with similar threads inside the closure. Thread starts of the threads reduce potential damage to the threads during installation of the closure. The thread starts may include a start pitch that is greater than a thread pitch of the threads. A handling valley disposed between the threads and the tamper evidence ledge facilitates air-conveying the container along a manufacturing assembly line.
