The disclosed example authentication device is also to determine whether to allow the host device to access a storage device. The disclosed example authentication device is further to transmit authentication data to the adapter via the wireless interface, the authentication data to specify whether the host device is allowed to access the storage device.

Abstract: Described is a system for providing quick and efficient identification of a desired version of content from an editing history of the content. The system receives a search index identifying versions of content from an editing history of the content. The system sorts the search index according to sort criteria and receives a selection from the sorted search index of a first version of the content and a second version of the content. The system identifies and displays one or more content differences between the first and second versions of the content.

A high-strength bolt connects the U-shaped plate, the yielding plate, and the side stud of the panel to a structural column. A bushing is located between the U-shaped plate and the structural column.

Abstract: A ball-planetary continuously variable transmission (CVT) capable of stable control in forward and reverse rotation over a range of speed ratios including underdrive and overdrive is provided. Imparting a skew angle (zeta) causes unbalanced forces that change the tilt angle (gamma), resulting in a change in speed ratio of the CVT. Angularly orientating a control system of the CVT with a positive offset angle (psi) configures the CVT for operation in a first direction of rotation or angularly orientating the control system with a negative offset angle (psi) configures the CVT for operation in a reverse direction of rotation. A control system for configuring the offset angle (psi) may lead or trail the planets. The control system may configure a larger offset angle for more stable control or may configure a smaller offset angle for higher sensitivity in potential rollback scenarios.

The power source may be (i) a traction battery, (ii) an electrical generator, or (iii) a non-traction battery. The battery source may be (i) a battery that is on-board the vehicle and that is not the power source or (ii) a battery that is off board the vehicle.

Abstract: A vent for mobile living quarters has a base and a cover coupled to the base. The cover is connected to the base and pivots about a hinge by a mechanism that is coupled to a moving bar. The moving bar is attached to the cover by fasteners on one end and an alignment tab on the opposite end. The cover is user-replaceable from the top side without having to move or disconnect the mechanism. To replace the cover, fasteners are removed and the cover is pivoted away from the moving bar, where the alignment tab disengages from the cover. The cover is then slidable along the hinge to completely remove the cover from the base. A new replacement cover is slid along the hinge and the alignment tab is engaged with the replacement cover. The cover is pivoted down to a closed position and the fasteners are reinstalled.

The actuation mechanism includes a two-bar linkage and an actuator. The two-bar linkage has a first bar with a first end and a second end, and a second bar with a first end and a second end. The first end of the first bar is pivotally coupled with the strawhooks, and the first end of the second bar is pivotally coupled with a fixed structure of the baler. The actuator is coupled with the second ends of the first bar and the second bar. The actuator is operable to apply pushing or pulling forces to each of the second ends and thereby selectively move the strawhooks between the open position and the closed position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for manufacturing and inserting a predetermined number of material-filled pouches into containers are disclosed. A system includes a pouch providing system comprising a plurality of lanes, wherein each one of the plurality of lanes includes a pouch making machine and a hold-back structure. The system also includes a conveyor system structured and arranged to move a plurality of containers into alignment with the plurality of lanes. The system further includes a controller structured and arranged to control the hold-back structure in each one of the plurality of lanes such that the pre-determined pouches are inserted into the plurality of containers when the plurality of containers are aligned with the plurality of lanes.
