Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to identify a timing at which a user activity occurred and may apply an anomaly detection model on the identified timing at which the user activity occurred, in which the anomaly detection model is to output a risk score corresponding to a deviation of the timing at which the user activity occurred from timings at which the user normally performs user activities. The processor may also determine whether the timing at which the user activity occurred is anomalous based on the risk score and, based on a determination that the timing at which the user activity occurred is anomalous, may output an alert regarding the anomalous timing of the user activity occurrence.
Abstract: A memory apparatus and method of operation are provided. The apparatus includes memory cells connected to word lines and arranged in strings and configured to retain a threshold voltage corresponding to memory states. A control circuit is configured to program the memory cells to reach one of a plurality of verify levels each corresponding the memory states using a series of voltage pulses applied to the word lines during a program operation. The control circuit determines an intermediate quantity of the series of voltage pulses necessary for the memory cells associated with a selected one of the memory states to reach the one of the plurality of verify levels corresponding to the selected one of the memory states. The control circuit ends the program operation after a maximum allowable quantity of the series of voltage pulses are utilized. The maximum allowable quantity is selected based on the intermediate quantity.
Abstract: An intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement system. An optical pressure sensor is implantable in the cornea of an eye, wherein the sensor has a sealed cavity that changes shape as a function of IOP of the eye. An optical transmitter that is outside of the eye emits an incident optical beam. A receiver that is also outside of the eye produces an output signal in response to receiving reflections of the incident beam from the sensor. A processor is configured to estimate the IOP of the eye based on processing the output signal of the receiver. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

Abstract: An electronic vaporizer system includes an anesthetic sump containing anesthetic agent, a vaporizer unit that vaporizes the anesthetic agent from the sump and delivers the vaporized agent to a patient breathing circuit, and a gas sensor configured to measure end tidal concentration of the anesthetic agent and exhalation gasses from the patient. A control system is configured to receive the measured end tidal concentration of anesthetic agent and compare the measured end tidal concentration to a desired end tidal concentration to be maintained for the patient. The vaporizer unit is then automatically controlled to deliver an amount of vaporized agent to the patient based on the comparison.

Abstract: An operating room monitoring system (ORMS) may be uniquely configured for a particular operating room in order to provide custom monitoring and responses based on the unique characteristics of that operating room. The ORMS includes a sensor array of individual sensors placed around the operating room in positions determined by the type of sensor and the unique characteristics of the operating room. Data from the sensor array is collected and analyzed using an infection-reduction protocol. Analyzed data may include images and video, proximity data, airflow data, and climate data, for example. Protocol violations may result in tailored responses such as automatic adjustment of HVAC equipment, or generalized responses such as room-level visual or audible alerts. A dashboard interface may be displayed on various devices that provides sensor data, environmental quality data, risk picturing, and other information usable to mitigate infection risks.

Abstract: Sensing airflow and delivering therapeutic gas to a patient. At least one example embodiment is a method including: sensing, by a delivery device, that multiple breathing orifices are open to flow; and during a plurality of subsequent inhalations in which multiple breathing orifices are open to flow; and delivering, by the delivery device, a bolus of therapeutic gas to only one breathing orifice during each inhalation, and alternating delivery location in subsequent inhalations. The example delivering may further comprise: supplying therapeutic gas only from an accumulator during a first portion each inhalation; dispensing therapeutic gas from the accumulator and from a pressure regulator during a second portion of each inhalation, the second portion immediately subsequent to the first portion.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating interpolated images are disclosed. In examples, image features are extracted from a first image and a second image; such image features may be warped using first and second plurality of parameters. A first candidate intermediate frame may be generated based on the warped first features and the warped second features. Multi-scale features associated with the image features extracted from the first image and the second image may be obtained and warped using the first and second plurality of parameters. A second candidate intermediate frame may be generated based on the warped first multi-scale features and the warped second multi-scale features. By blending the first candidate intermedia frame with the second candidate intermediate frame, an interpolated image may be generated.
