Abstract: Apparatus and methods for multi-carrier or multi-band utilization in an unlicensed wireless network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide enhanced wireless services which provide enhanced bandwidth capability to 5G NR-U entities such as gNodeB and UE devices across two heterogeneous unlicensed bands having different medium access mechanism and protocols. In one variant, LBT (listen before talk) protocols are used to detect the presence or absence of users within the respective bands of interest. When two or more unoccupied carriers or bands are identified, aggregated operation is used ti enhance the downlink/uplink (DL/UL) transmission bandwidth for the device(s).

The outer frame element further includes a plurality of ribs formed along the inner face and an inner landing that protrudes inwardly into a center opening of the outer frame element. The frame system also includes a back plate configured for insertion into the center opening. The back plate includes a plurality of locking ribs for reception within the plurality of recesses to generate a snap-fit attachment of the back plate to the hollow outer frame element.
Abstract: A universal interferometer for a three-dimensional quantum random number generator (3D QRNG) that includes three input ports. Each input port being configured to receive at least one prepared photon having three dimensions of quantum information in Hilbert space from a preparation stage of the 3D QRNG. The prepared photon is prepared based on a selected probability distribution set selected from probability distribution sets of p1, p2 and p3 that add to 1 and where the p1, the p2 and the p3 are rational numbers less than 1 and greater than zero. The universal interferometer includes three two-dimensional interferometers connected and arranged to measure along an x-axis of a Cartesian coordinate system the prepared photon and preserving the three dimensions of the quantum information of the measured photon. The universal interferometer includes three output ports which produces the measured photon corresponding to a three-dimensional eigenstate.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a body having an uninterrupted side aperture that provides access to an interior passenger cabin. A front door is hingedly attached at a forward edge of the uninterrupted side aperture. The front door is selectively operable between front open and front closed positions. A rear door is hingedly attached at a rearward edge of the uninterrupted side aperture. The rear door is selectively operable between rear open and rear closed positions. A latching assembly is at least partially positioned within the body and configured to receive the front door in the front closed position and the rear door in the rear closed position. A sealing assembly is defined between a forward seal of the rear door and a rearward seal of the front door. The forward and rearward seals engage one another in a fully-closed position.

Abstract: Techniques for using a trip flag to detect desynchronization of trip counter values in a vehicle system. Techniques include a first electronic control unit (ECU) receiving a synchronization message including a trip counter and receiving a message from a second ECU including a trip flag. The trip flag includes a single bit of data generated by the second ECU. The first ECU compares the trip flag to a last bit of the trip counter stored at the first electronic control unit and processes the message in response to the trip flag matching the trip counter. The first ECU compares the trip counter to a previous trip counter based on the trip flag differing from the trip counter. The first ECU processes the message using the previous trip counter or increments the trip counter to process the message based on the comparison with the previous trip counter.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for monitoring levels of activity of client devices using a cluster of servers having a decentralized network architecture are provided, where over-counting, which may be caused by an uneven distribution of requests transmitted by the client devices to the cluster of servers, may be mitigated. For example, a request may be received by a first server, of the cluster of servers, from a client device. A first counter value associated with a level of activity of the client device may be incremented by a first number. One or more data packets may be transmitted to one or more servers of the cluster of servers. Each data packet of the one or more data packets may comprise an instruction to increment a counter value associated with the client device by a second number, which may be different than the first number.
Abstract: Various blanks are provided for forming sleeves, containers, and other constructs for heating, browning, and/or crisping of a food item in a microwave oven, and for holding and/or transporting the food item after heating. The various blanks, sleeves, containers, and other constructs may include a removable portion defined by one or more lines of disruption that enable the removable portion to be separated from the remainder of the blank, sleeve, container, or other construct.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for providing user feedback for robotic demonstration learning. One of the methods includes initiating a local demonstration learning process to collect respective local demonstration data for each of one or more demonstration subtasks defined by a skill template to be executed by a robot. Local demonstration data is repeatedly collected for each of the one or more demonstration subtasks of the skill template while a user manipulates a robot to perform each of the one or more demonstration subtasks defined by the skill template. A respective progress value for each of the one or more demonstration subtasks defined by the skill template is maintained. A user interface presentation is generated that presents a suggested demonstration to be performed by the user based on a respective progress value for each demonstration subtask.
Abstract: An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a canister having a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a spout adapter, the spout adapter having a spout channel extending between the internal reservoir and a spout opening, smaller than the opening of the canister. The spout opening may be sealed with a cap having a magnetic top surface, and the spout adapter may be further removably coupled to a lid that may be used as a cup into which a volume of the liquid can be poured.

Abstract: An infant treatment device includes a light source and a blanket. When the treatment device is configured to warm an infant, a laser diode is used to provide warming light. The warming light passes along an optic cable having a plurality of optic fibers each having a fiber ending. The fiber endings are spaced along is diffuser. The diffuser is designed to spread the warming light to create multiple heating zones. A control circuit is used to control the operation of the laser diode. The treatment device is designed such that the light source and blanket can be separated and connected when desired such that the light source can be used with more than one blanket. In another embodiment, the light source can include a diode design for use in phototherapy treatment.
Abstract: A wearable device includes an audio system. In one embodiment, the audio system includes a sensor array that includes a plurality of acoustic sensors. When a user wears the wearable device, the audio system determines an acoustic transfer function for the user based upon detected sounds within a local area surrounding the sensor array. Because the acoustic transfer function is based upon the size, shape, and density of the user's body (e.g., the user's head), different acoustic transfer functions will be determined for different users. The determined acoustic transfer functions are compared with stored acoustic transfer functions of known users in order to authenticate the user of the wearable device.
