Abstract: A bicycle pedal comprising an openwork body which comprises a front longitudinal wall, a rear longitudinal wall, and a central shaft having a transverse channel configured to receive a spindle fixed to a crank arm. The central shaft provides a connection between an outer side wall and an inner side wall located on the side of the crank arm. The body rotatably mounted about the spindle by at least one bearing. The central shaft extends outwardly toward the outside by two diverging arms delimiting between them a lateral recess provided in the body facing the channel.
Abstract: A mud pulse telemetry valve assembly and method including a mud valve sub and a mud pulse telemetry valve. The mud pulse telemetry valve having a flow tube positioned within the mud valve sub in a way that at least a portion of an outer surface of the flow tube is spaced a distance from at least a portion of an inner surface of the mud valve sub to form a hydraulic passageway having an upstream end and a downstream end. The mud pulse telemetry valve further having a control valve assembly and a pilot valve assembly.

Abstract: A hinge housing of an electronic device is coupled to a first hinge arm extending into to a first device housing a second hinge arm extending into a second device housing. Abstract: A displacement sensor measures capacitance between a rotor-stator pair. The displacement sensor includes a plurality of stators coupled to a first object. The plurality of stators is oriented parallel to an axis of motion between the first object and a second object. The displacement sensor further includes a plurality of rotors coupled to the second object. The plurality of rotors is oriented parallel to the axis of motion. Each rotor of the plurality of rotors is aligned with and configured to receive a corresponding stator of the plurality of stators to create a respective rotor-stator pair. Capacitance between the rotor-stator pairs change as a function of position of the first object relative to the second object along the axis of motion. An amount of displacement of the first object relative to the second object is determined based in part on the capacitance values.

Abstract: A memory device comprises a memory array, a counter unit, and a service unit. The memory array comprises cells arranged in rows and columns, wherein a subset of the cells in each of the rows holds a row activation count for each row. The counter unit, in response to an activation of the row caused by a read operation on at least a portion of the row, increments the row activation count for at least one of the rows prior to a completion of the read operation, and writes-back the row activation count in an incremented state to the subset of the cells in the row that held the row activation count prior to the activation. The service unit is coupled to the counter unit and performs a service with respect to one or more other rows, offset from the row, in response to the row activation count associated with the row satisfying service criteria.

Abstract: A non-petroleum or renewable feedstock containing oxygen and contaminants of metals, gums, and resins is treated by introducing the feedstock into a reactor at a flow velocity of at least 20 ft/sec. The feedstock is heated within the reactor and cooled to form a reduced-temperature reactor product. At least a portion of the reduced-temperature reactor product is feed into a hydroprocessing reactor containing a hydroprocessing catalyst to form a hydroprocessed product. The hydroprocessed product is cooled and non-condensable gases, metals and water are separated and removed to form a final product. The final product has an oxygen content that is 60% or less of that of the feedstock, and wherein the final product comprises 25 wt % or less any triglycerides, monoglycerides, diglycerides, free fatty acids, phosphatides, sterols, tocopherols, tocotrienols, or fatty alcohols, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % naphtha, and 50 wt % or more diesel.
