  • Patent number: 11525319
Abstract: A gas operated setting tool comprising a piston rod and an outer tool assembly having a hollow interior within which the piston rod is disposed coaxially. The outer tool assembly comprises a top cap connected to the cylinder's upper end and a bottom connector connected to the cylinder's lower end. The piston rod comprises an upper section to which a firing head attaches and a lower section to which a setting adapter attaches. The piston section's exterior surface fits within and is sealed against the cylinder's interior surface. The piston rod has a hollow power charge chamber and port holes that open into the bottom connector's upper surface. A shear ring engages a counterpart surface feature to prevents axial movement of the outer tool assembly relative to the piston rod until the power charge has fired and sheared the shear ring.

  • Patent number: 11526554
Abstract: The subject matter of this specification generally relates to preventing the distribution of forbidden network content. In one aspect, a system includes a front-end server that receives content for distribution over a data communication network. The back-end server identifies, in the query log, a set of received queries for which a given forbidden term was used to identify a search result in response to the received query even though the given forbidden term was not included in queries included in the set of received queries. The back-end server classifies, as variants of the given forbidden term, a term from one or more queries in the set of received queries that caused a search engine to use the given forbidden term to identify one or more search results in response to the one or more queries and prevents distribution of content that includes a variant.

  • Patent number: 11524231
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for online game streaming includes receiving a request from a remote client to access a user account. The request is received at a hosting service that includes one or more servers and identifies digital content including video games available to the user. Selection of a video game is received by the hosting service from the remote client. In response, the hosting service initiates a data rate test of the remote client to identify a maximum available data rate available between the remote client and one or more servers of the hosting service. The data rate test is performed to identify an active data rate for streaming interactive content of the video game. The method also includes assigning the remote client to a server and setting the compression level to attain the active data rate having packet loss and latency that is within a predefined acceptable level.

  • Patent number: 11526369
Abstract: A computerized personal assistant communicatively couples to a computer database including a plurality of available skills for the computerized personal assistant. The computerized personal assistant recognizes a current context of the user. The computerized personal assistant operates a previously-trained machine learning classifier to assess a match confidence for a candidate skill, the match confidence indicating a quality of match between the current context and a reference context previously associated with the candidate skill. The computerized personal assistant executes instructions defining an assistive action associated with the candidate skill responsive to the match confidence exceeding a predefined match confidence threshold. The computerized personal assistant executes the instructions defining a complementary help action associated with the candidate skill responsive to the match confidence not exceeding the predefined match confidence threshold.

  • Patent number: 11526750
Abstract: An automated predictive analytics system disclosed herein provides a novel technique for industry classification. Leveraging specific API to construct a database of companies labeled with the industries to which they belong, the automated predictive analytics system trains a deep neural network to predict the industries of novel companies. The automated predictive analytics system examines the capacity of the model to predict six-digit NAICS codes, as well as the ability of the model architecture to adapt to other industry segmentation schemas. Additionally, the automated predictive analytics system investigates the ability of the model to generalize despite the presence of noise in the labels in the training set. Finally, the automated predictive analytics system explores the possibility of increasing predictive precision by thresholding based on the confidence scores that the model outputs along with its predictions.

  • Patent number: 11526370
Abstract: A cloud resource management system trains, through ensemble learning, multiple time series forecasting models to forecast a future idle time of a virtual machine operating on a cloud computing service. The models are trained on historical usage and metric data of the virtual machine. The metric data includes CPU usage, disk usage and network usage. A select one of the models having the best accuracy for a target virtual machine is used in a production run to predict when the virtual machine will be idle. At this time, the virtual machine may be automatically shutdown in order to reduce the expense associated with the continued operation of the virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 11526572
Abstract: A computerized system automatically ensures that data from a data partner has been ethically sourced. The system reviews websites associated with URLs provided by the data provider, and privacy policy data is extracted and captured. A keyword set is used to analyze the privacy terms of websites associated with the URLs. URLs associated with websites that ethically collect data are stored in a URL database, or the URLs are given a flag or score, such that these URLs need not be checked each time a new data partner identifies these URLs as the source of its data. The system may periodically re-check the URLs to ensure that no changes have been made to the corresponding website's data collection practices.
