  • Patent number: 11431105
Abstract: Disclosed is a telecommunications antenna having a plurality of cloaked low band (LB) and high band (HB) dipoles. The LB and HB dipoles provide cloaking by breaking the dipoles into dipole segments, and providing conductive cloaking elements over the gaps between dipole segments to form a plurality of capacitors along the dipole. The capacitors along the LB dipoles provide a low impedance to LB RF signals and a high impedance to HB signals. The capacitors formed on the HB dipoles provide a low impedance to RF signals and high impedance to harmonics of the LB RF signals. This cross-cloaking of dipoles enables more dense arrangements of LB and HB dipoles on an antenna array face, providing opportunities to arrange, for example, the LB dipoles with an array factor that results in an advantageous fast roll off gain pattern.

  • Patent number: 11428260
Abstract: A blind rivet-nut having an annular-flange-like setting head and a hollow shaft for securing a blind rivet-nut in an opening of a carrier. The hollow shaft has a free end having a threaded portion for receiving a threaded element of a tensioning tool. A clamping portion adjacent to the setting head forms a bead-like deformation when the tensioning tool is used to clamp the carrier between the bead-like deformation and the setting head. A threadless shaft portion is formed between the clamping portion and the threaded portion. The threadless shaft portion is threaded by a thread self-rolling or thread self-tapping fastener. The fastener is received in a positive-locking manner when the fastener is screwed into the thread formed on the previously threadless shaft portion. • Patent number: 11430443
Abstract: A system that provides a sharable language interface for implementing automated assistants in new domains and applications. A dialogue assistant that is trained in a first domain can receive a specification in a second domain. The specification can include language structure data such as schemas, recognizers, resolvers, constraints and invariants, actions, language hints, generation template, and other data. The specification data is applied to the automated assistant to enable the automated assistant to provide interactive dialogue with a user in a second domain associated with the received specification. In some instances, portions of the specification may be automatically mapped to portions of the first domain. By having the ability to learn new domains and applications through receipt of objects and properties rather than retooling the interface entirely, the present system is much more efficient at learning how to provide interactive dialogue in new domains than previous systems.

  • Patent number: 11429100
Abstract: A locomotive inspection system includes sensors that are selectively coupled to a locomotive during an inspection or maintenance event for the locomotive and a controller that is operable to cause a control system of the locomotive that controls plural operations of the locomotive to initiate a first operation and a different, second operation. The controller determines whether the control system has first sensor information indicative of a state of the locomotive during the first operation. The controller sends a command signal to the control system to direct the control system to change locomotive operations from the first operation to the second operation responsive to determining that the control system lacks the first sensor information. The controller obtains second sensor information from the one or more sensors based on the second operation and determines a condition of components of the locomotive based on the first and second sensor information.
