  • Patent number: 11430186
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that enable a user to provide speech inputs to control an extended reality environment, where relationships between terms in a speech input are represented in three dimensions (3D) in the extended reality environment. For example, a language processing component determines a semantic meaning of the speech input, and identifies terms in the speech input based on the semantic meaning. A 3D relationship component generates a 3D representation of a relationship between the terms and provides the 3D representation to a computing device for display. A 3D representation may include a modification to an object in an extended reality environment, or a 3D representation of a concepts and sub-concepts in a mind map in an extended reality environment, for example. The 3D relationship component may generate a searchable timeline using the terms provided in the speech input and a recording of an extended reality session.

  • Patent number: 11431813
Abstract: A method and system of daily or other periodic creation of a user-sponsored cookie-like packet of encoded and encrypted information containing personal identity details and information use rules which, when the packet is attached to a delivery mechanism such as a browser header record, it is delivered to network-based resource provider platforms. Upon receipt and recognition of the modified header record by a subscribing provider, the cookie-like information packet is decrypted and decoded by application programs revealing personal identity details as well as associated data rules. Data capture rules define how participating resource providers can utilize, share, or sell provided data including rules related to whether captured or acquired data can supplement provided data.

  • Patent number: 11429318
Abstract: Techniques include receiving a backup request for backing up data on a production VVOL, to which is assigned physical space from storage devices in a first storage tier. When the production VVOL and a snapshot VVOL exist, and a write request is received to a data block on the production VVOL that is shared between the production VVOL and the snapshot VVOL, then the techniques include capturing a snapshot of the production VVOL by redirecting the write request to newly allocated space on the production VVOL, writing new data to the newly allocated space, and storing metadata referring to the original block(s) on the production VVOL. Based on an IO workload threshold, the techniques include copying, in a background process, the original version of the modified block from the production VVOL to a snapshot VVOL, to which is assigned physical storage space from storage devices in a second storage tier.

  • Patent number: 11428461
Abstract: An apparatus includes a high side heat exchanger, a load, a compressor, a belt, a first bin, a second bin, and a controller. The high side heat exchanger removes heat from a refrigerant. The load uses the refrigerant to cool an enclosed space. The compressor compresses the refrigerant. The first and second bins are coupled to the belt and positioned within the enclosed space. The controller receives a first message, determines that the first bin should be selected, and cycles the belt to move the first bin to a retrieval location within the enclosed space. The controller also receives a second message, determines that the second bin should be selected, and cycles the belt to move the second bin to the retrieval location.

  • Patent number: 11429378
Abstract: The estimation and visualization of a degree of change between a further edited state of code and a selected version of the code. For each of some counted added or deleted portions (e.g., code lines) of code, the system estimates that the added (or deleted) portion complies with a non-review characteristic. The added (or deleted) code lines that comply with a non-review characteristic are excluded from the estimation of the degree of change. Thus, the estimation excludes consideration of added or deleted portions that need no substantial review, while considering more substantial added or deleted portions in the estimations. The estimation is then visualize giving the developer or the reviewer a better idea of the scale of changes that has really been made since the selected version of the code.
