Abstract: A fishing lure system configured to generate a movement that mimics the lifelike movement of a decapod crustacean is provided. By sequentially applying and releasing a pulling force on a fishing line fixed to the fishing lure system, the entire system may be pulled in the direction of the force while a tail portion of the lure is “kicked” forward in a direction opposite to the pulling force.

Abstract: A hair extension comprising plurality of bands having hair wefts secured thereto with micro loops adhered between the plurality of bands for attachment to the wearer's native hair. A first band has a front side and a back side and an extension weft is attached to either the front side or the backside, or both. micro links are attached with adhesive. A second band has a front side and a back side and may also have an extension weft attached to either the front side or the back side or both. Micro links are secure to either the back side of the first band or the back side of the second band, or both. The back sides of the two bands are sandwiched together with the micro links therebetween and with the extension hair exposed either exteriorly or interiorly. Also provided is a micro link wrapped with a material on which extension hair is secured. The wearer's native hair is pulled through an inner annulus of the micro link, thus concealing the micro link from view.

Abstract: A retrieval catheter and methods of use are described for removing a heart valve therapy such as a leaflet clip or artificial leaflet cord. The retrieval catheter can include a cutting element and a basket, piercing element, clamping mechanism, or similar grasping device. The method includes delivering a catheter to the region of the heart valve therapy and then manipulating the catheter and associated instruments to cut tissue as necessary and then remove the heart valve therapy and withdraw the catheter.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems, media, and methods of generating test authorization for financial transactions. One or more computing devices generate an initial data set corresponding to a financial transaction. Alterations to one or more fields of information included in the initial data set are made responsive to instructions received via a user interface. Responsive to the alterations, the one or more computing devices: convert the test data set into a binary file, deserialize the binary file, and generate a transaction file for the financial transaction based on the deserialized test data set.

Abstract: A flexible self-adhesive label comprising a radiation-sensitive indicator for a syringe, the syringe comprising a barrel part with a front part and a rear part, having a tip at the front part, a piston at the rear part, and an exterior surface with a marking thereon. The label is attached to at least one part of the syringe and does not overlap with the marking. Also disclosed is a labeling method, kit and dispenser featuring such labels.

Abstract: Provided is a battery module and battery rack having enhanced fire safety features. The battery module includes a swelling/pressure sensor that detects swelling of a battery cell. An output signal of the sensor is used to halt operation of a battery rack/battery system containing the battery module and prevent charging and discharging of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery module uses an AC-to-AC power supply to provide AC frequency power for balancing battery cells of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery rack includes an internal water fire suppression system that provides battery cooling in the event of a battery cell fire to prevent the spread and/or reigniting of the fire.

Abstract: A base station may transmit, to a wireless device via a first control resource set (coreset) with a first coreset group index, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. The base station may determine that: a first quasi co-location (QCL) of the PDSCH transmission is different from a second QCL of a second coreset that overlaps in at least one symbol with the PDSCH transmission; and the first coreset group index is the same as a second coreset group index of the second coreset. Based on the determining, the base station may transmit, to the wireless device, the PDSCH transmission with the second QCL of the second coreset.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, cable routing may be facilitated. For example, a selection of a first rack and a second rack within an infrastructure may be received. A primary cable route between the first rack and the second rack may be generated, the primary cable route having a primary length. Based on diversity requirements of the infrastructure, secondary cable routes between the first rack and the second rack may be generated, the secondary cable routes having secondary lengths. First and second cable patching rules for patching the first and second racks, respectively, may be retrieved. Based on the first and second cable patching rules, a first and second patching scheme may be determined for patching the first and second racks, respectively. In some embodiments, the primary length, the secondary lengths, the first patching scheme, and the second patching scheme may be transmitted to a user device.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of golf bags, golf bag tops, and methods to manufacture golf bags and golf bag tops are generally described herein. In one example, a golf bag top may include a club divider portion and a handle portion. A club fastener portion may extend from the handle portion and may receive a golf club shaft. A magnetic portion in the club fastener portion may magnetically attract the shaft. A magnet cover portion may be coupled to the club fastener portion and may include a flap portion entirely or partially covering the magnetic portion that would otherwise directly contact the shaft. The flap portion may provide physical separation between the magnetic portion and the shaft without prohibiting magnetic attraction therebetween. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a temperature sensor that may be integrated into a memory device along with a 1T1C reference voltage generator to enable the 1T1C reference voltage generator to provide a temperature dependent 1T1C reference voltage to a memory core (e.g., F-RAM memory core) of the memory device. The temperature sensor may detect a temperature of the memory core, and output this information (e.g., as a trim) for use by the 1T1C reference voltage generator in providing a temperature dependent 1T1C reference voltage. In this way, both the P-term and U-term margins of the memory core may be maintained even as a temperature of the memory core increases.

A second oxide layer overlays the SiCr thin film resistor. The second oxide layer has an opening exposing a surface of the resistor head. A metal pad is disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer and is contact with the surface of the resistor head exposed by the opening. Further, an interlevel dielectric layer is disposed on the second oxide layer overlaying the SiCr thin film resistor. A metal-filled via extends from a top surface of interlevel dielectric layer through the interlevel dielectric layer and contacts the metal pad disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer.

Abstract: The invention is that of systems and methods for controllerless and distributed network connections to servers on a network by remote clients seeking their services. The invention comprises a server database where servers within a server group identified by a groupname may post unique identifiers (UIDs) for retrieval by group clients configured with the groupname, which may query the server database for server connection information such as uptime, downtime, and congestion in order to select a server for a preferential connection based on an overall availability profile as determined by the group client. The methods described herein eliminate a separate controller and thereby eliminate the single point of failure (SPOF) represented by connection controllers and load balancers in a network as are common in the current state of the art.
