Abstract: In an Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS), a radio frequency identification (RFID) subsystem of an EAS system, can detect a presence of an RFID tag in an RFID interrogation zone associated with a boundary of a controlled area. The EAS system can first determine that the RFID tag is not authorized to leave the controlled area across the boundary. A radar subsystem of the EAS system can second determine, within a first window of time around the first detecting, whether an object in motion is associated with the boundary. The EAS system can alarm based upon both determining that the RFID tag is not authorized to leave the controlled area and determining that the object in motion is associated with the boundary.
Abstract: A system for device communication is disclosed. The system may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to transmit a first unique identifier to a wave device, and receive a second unique identifier from the wave device. Further, the first unique identifier may exclusively identify a person, and the second unique identifier may exclusively identify a first wave receiver associated with a person, an entity, a place, or an object. In addition, at least the first unique identifier may be transmitted to the wave device based on an indication of a proximity between the first person and the first wave receiver.

Abstract: Systems, methods, tangible non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices associated with trajectory prediction are provided. For example, trajectory data and goal path data can be accessed. The trajectory data can be associated with an object's predicted trajectory. The predicted trajectory can include waypoints associated with waypoint position uncertainty distributions that can be based on an expectation maximization technique. The goal path data can be associated with a goal path and include locations the object is predicted to travel. Solution waypoints for the object can be determined based on application of optimization techniques to the waypoints and waypoint position uncertainty distributions. The optimization techniques can include operations to maximize the probability of each of the solution waypoints. Stitched trajectory data can be generated based on the solution waypoints. The stitched trajectory data can be associated with portions of the solution waypoints and the goal path.

Abstract: Systems and methods associated with generating and/or maintaining resilient versions of application data usable by operationally distinct clusters are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary method may comprise operating plural instances of a software application in a first cluster and a second cluster, assessing requirements of streaming architecture of both clusters that impact the instances' ability to process application data, creating at least two versions of the application including a main version in one cluster and a replica version for an operationally distinct cluster, automatically mirroring replica versions of the application data from each cluster into a distinct cluster for access and use by the software instance in the distinct cluster, and storing indexes for main and replica versions and all data that the software application requires to provide consistent responses in all such operationally distinct clusters.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enabling users playing online games to create coaching videos of gameplay, and post such coaching videos to a cloud gaming system. In one example, coaching videos include a video clip of the gameplay and a video of the user, guiding and/or explaining how the game was played. A user playing the same game may desire coaching, and the cloud gaming system can identify previously posted coaching videos that correspond to the point in time or action in which the user requesting coaching is currently playing. The cloud system can access a database of coaching options, which are then presented to a user. The coaching options may be videos of gameplay and videos of the user providing coaching. The user can then view the coaching videos, rate them if desired, and then resume with his or her gameplay.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a risk of damage to a crop on an agronomic field are described. In an embodiment, a computer system receives, for each hour of a first day, weather data identifying temperature values and humidity values associated with a geographic location. The computer system determines, for a particular hour of the first day, that a temperature value is within a first range of values and a humidity value is within a second range of values and, in response, identifies the particular hour as a risk hour. The computer system computes, for a second day, a risk value for one or more agronomic fields at the geographic location based, at least in part, on one or more identified risk hours between a day of planting a crop on the one or more agronomic fields and the second day.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a machine learning-powered framework to transform overloaded text documents is provided. The system generates a plurality of candidate templates offline. During runtime, the system accesses a text document and analyzes the text document to identify segmentation data. The segmentation data can indicate a plurality of segments derived from the text document. The system then accesses a plurality of candidate templates, whereby each candidate template comprises a plurality of pages having a different background element that shares a common theme. The plurality of candidate templates are ranked based on at least the segmentation data. The network then generates multiple presentation pages for each of a predetermined number of top ranked candidate templates by incorporating each of the plurality of segments into a corresponding page of the plurality of pages for each of the top ranked candidate templates.
