Abstract: Systems and processes for the efficient conversion of high concentration isoolefin streams to tertiary alkyl ethers are disclosed. The systems and processes may include a feed system to advantageously divide the high concentration isoolefin feed to multiple fixed bed reactors and a catalytic distillation reactor to control the reaction exotherm and achieve a high isoolefin conversion.

The method additionally can include sending at least (a) the sender identifying information, (b) a recipient public identifier, and (c) a payment amount for the payment to the sender financial institution to cause the sender financial institution to (i) determine a funds availability of the sender account to initiate the funds transfer for the payment amount and (ii) send a funds transfer request to a computer-implemented funds transfer network to initiate the payment from the sender account at the sender financial institution to a recipient account at a recipient financial institution. Abstract: A device for providing tactile stimulation of a subject via a pulse of compressible fluid, typically for medical diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The device preferably includes a high pressure fluid source and a low pressure fluid source. A pressure valve selectively connects the pressure sources to an outlet conduit. The outlet conduit includes an applicator for directing pulses against the skin of a subject. The pulses may be applied via one applicator or a plurality of applicators, and may be applied in one pattern or several patterns at various application sites. A method of providing tactile stimulation is also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the delivery of fluidic substances in an HVAC system are provided herein. Described herein are various examples of a prisoner cell fluidic substance delivery system. The delivery system installs on an HVAC duct servicing one or more cells. The delivery system includes a removable hatch that allows personnel to access the interior of the HVAC duct. The hatch and its access into the interior of the HVAC duct may be sized to allow for the ability of personnel to clear any debris or other foreign material from the interior prior to the insertion of a fluidic substance, such as tear gas or pepper spray. The various examples described herein allow the introduction of substances to a single cell or a limited number of cells without the need to generally disperse the substance.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an epoxy tube for an optical fiber connector. The tube can be mounted to a ferrule hub by a snap fit connection. The connection between the tube and the ferrule hub allows for float of the epoxy tube where the epoxy tube is not rigidly attached to the hub. The epoxy tube can be configured to move about an arc of rotational circular movement while remaining linear such that the epoxy tube does not bend or transfer forces to the hub.

For example, disclosed embodiments may include receiving an event associated with an update to an entry in a first database. Also, disclose embodiments may include identifying, based on the event, relevant data in the first database associated with the update. Further, disclose embodiments may include generating a plurality of queries to the first database to request the identified relevant data. Disclose embodiments may also include receiving, in response to the plurality of queries, raw data from the first database. Additionally, disclose embodiments may include processing the raw data to be compatible with a second database. Disclose embodiments may also include storing the processed raw data in the second database. And, disclosed embodiments may include receiving data requests for the second database to distribute the processed data to at least one computer terminal.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein analyze one or more selected data sources in their entirety and determine data relationships, using a single-branch approach. Indexes are created based on the determined data relationships, and data from the one or more data sets is imported into the indexes and stored in a back-end storage system. Once the data is analyzed and stored in the indexes, a user can submit a request for a data visualization. In response to the request, the system automatically generates (e.g., builds) and displays the requested data visualization to the user. In some examples, the user may request a modification of the data visualization such as changing the timeframe shown in the data visualization or adding/removing data associated with a particular parameter, and the system will automatically generate the modified data visualization for the user.

The method also includes generating, using a speech embedding model configured to receive the first set of training audio samples as input, a corresponding hotword embedding representative of a custom hotword for each training audio sample of the first set of training audio samples. The speech embedding model is pre-trained on a different set of training audio samples with a greater number of training audio samples than the first set of training audio samples The method further includes training the custom hotword model to detect a presence of the custom hotword in audio data. Abstract: A load control device may utilize a feedback signal representative of an average magnitude of the load current conducted through an electrical load to control the amount of power delivered to the electrical load. The feedback signal may be generated based on a sense signal that is electrically isolated from the line voltage input of the load control device. Depending on the operational characteristics of the electrical load, the feedback signal may be generated using different techniques. In one example technique, the sense signal may be integrated and filtered to derive the feedback signal. In another example technique, the sense signal may be used in conjunction with an input power of the load control device and an efficiency parameter of the load control device to derive the feedback signal. In yet another example technique, values derived from the foregoing two techniques may be blended together to obtain the feedback signal.

The electronic control unit coupled to the wheel speed sensors and configured to generate an absolute phase offset signal that conveys an absolute phase offset angle between the rotor thickness variations in response to the rotation signals, generate a brake torque adjustment signal in response to the absolute phase offset signal and the rotation signals, and adjust a first braking control signal for a first brake rotor relative to a second braking control signal for a second brake rotor based on the brake torque adjustment signal to minimize an amplitude of the vibration during a braking event.

Abstract: A method includes receiving an automated speech recognition (ASR) request from a user device that includes a speech input captured by the user device and content metadata associated with the speech input. The content metadata is generated by the user device. The method also includes determining a priority score for the ASR request based on the content metadata associated with the speech input and caching the ASR request in a pre-processing backlog of pending ASR requests each having a corresponding priority score. The pending ASR requests in the pre-processing backlog are ranked in order of the priority scores. The method also includes providing, from the pre-processing backlog, one or more of the pending ASR requests to a backend-side ASR module, wherein pending ASR requests associated with higher priority scores are processed before pending ASR requests associated with lower priority scores.
