Further embodiments can include identifying a user identifier associated with each of the plurality of mobile devices resulting in a plurality of user identifiers. Additional embodiments can include obtaining a user profile associated with each of the plurality of user identifiers resulting in a plurality of user profiles. Also, embodiments can include identifying a first user profile having a first priority among the plurality of user profiles. Further embodiments can include provisioning the first user profile on a media processor or set top box and providing media content for presentation on a display according to the first user profile. Abstract: Merchant devices, systems and methods designed to provide and/or process cash transactions for customers of cash-only retail locations without need for traditional ATMs. In one embodiment, an exemplary POS terminal device may comprise a housing, dimensioned to install at a cash-only retail location, the housing having a cash storage receptacle and a cash management component configured to handle electronic cash transaction requests, and a communication component configured to transmit the respective electronic cash transaction requests. Further, the cash management component may include a reader component for interacting with a transaction card and/or device of a customer, an authentication component configured to scan and authenticate cash bills, a cash bills intake component, and a cash bills dispensing component. Accordingly, cash-only retail locations may implement such specialized devices and process transactions in ways avoiding reliance on traditional ATMs, such as those leased from third parties.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a CATV & MoCA® device, such as a passive, point of entry (POE) splitter or a RF amplifier. In the passive, POE splitter, a resistive splitter network connects plural “MoCA® only” ports, e.g., four, five or eight, to two or more “MoCA® and CATV” ports. The MoCA® only ports and MoCA® and CATV ports are connected to a MoCA® rejection filter, which is in turn connected to an input connected to a service provider. In the passive, POE splitter or the RF amplifier, an intuitive female coaxial port layout and marking scheme assists technicians with correctly connecting the POE splitter or RF amplifier to the correct coaxial cables at a customer's premises. The port layout also simplifies the circuitry design parameters on a printed circuit board (PCB) by orienting the “CATV & MoCA®” output ports at similar distances from a CATV input port of the POE splitter or RF amplifier.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system performs regression testing of software using selected test cases. In at least one embodiment, the system selects the test case for regression testing based on whether the test case correlates with modified code. In at least one embodiment, a test case correlates with the modified code if the test case tests all or a proper subset of the modified code. In at least one embodiment, if a test case does not test any of the modified code, then the test case is not used in the regression testing of the modified code.

Abstract: This document discloses procedures and apparatus for code block group (CBG)-based non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) transmission for a wireless communication link (130), such as fifth generation new radio. In aspects, a user equipment (UE) (110) receives a first message including a first configuration for a CBG-based transmission scheme. The UE (110) receives a second message including a second configuration for a NOMA transmission scheme. The UE (110) transmits uplink control information (UCI) to the base station (120) using the NOMA transmission scheme from the second configuration. Further, the UE (110) transmits uplink data associated with the UCI using a CBG-based NOMA transmission scheme based on the first configuration and the second configuration. The UE (110) receives a hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) message including one or more HARQ acknowledgements (ACKs) or negative acknowledgements (NACKs) corresponding to a decoding result of the uplink data.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to using nanoporous metal tips to establish connections between a first body and a second body. The first body is positioned relative to the second body to align contacts protruding from a first surface of the first body with electrodes protruding from a second surface of the second body. The second surface faces the first surface. The contacts, the electrodes, or both comprise nanoporous metal tips. A relative movement is made between the first body and the second body after positioning the first body to approach the first body to the second body. The contacts and the electrodes are bonded by melting and solidifying the nanoporous metal tips after approaching the first body and the second body.

Abstract: An interspinous, interlaminar space expander and measurement instrument for preparing an interspinous, interlaminar space between adjacent vertebrae to receive an implantable interspinous, interlaminar stabilization device is provided. The instrument includes an indicator which measures both height of the space and applied force to maintain that height.

Abstract: A medical injector including at least one syringe port for engaging at least one syringe and having a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism enables the syringe to self-align with the syringe port for locking engagement upon insertion of the syringe into the syringe port and to axially eject the syringe from the port upon rotational disengagement of the syringe from the port.

Abstract: A pain-relieving composition for topical administration and processes for preparing and using the same. The pain-relieving composition comprises beeswax, coconut oil, and peppermint essential oil, and, at a minimum, does not comprise dimethylsulfoxide, methylsulfonylmethane, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, an analgesic, an anesthetic, olecanthal, an olecanthal-related compound, potassium aluminum sulfate, stearic acid, camphor, cayenne, a non-essential oil in addition to the coconut oil, or water; and does not further comprise both Eucalyptus essential oil and lavender essential oil. The processes for preparing such pain-relieving compositions comprises providing beeswax, coconut oil, and peppermint essential oil, melting the beeswax and coconut oil to form a molten beeswax and coconut oil mixture, and combining the peppermint essential oil with the molten beeswax and coconut oil mixture.

Abstract: A method administers quaternary ammonium anti-cholinergic muscarinic receptor antagonists in combination with acetyl-cholinesterase inhibitors to treat either cognitive impairment or acute delirium. This therapy results in a modification of a cognitive disorder or disease, namely a slow down in the disease progression. In one preferred embodiment, the disease is dementia with Lewy Bodies. New formulations for quaternary ammonium anti-cholinergic muscarinic receptor antagonists are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system for determining a stuck point of a pipe positioned within a wellbore includes a tubular housing and a sensor array positioned within the tubular housing. The system also includes ferromagnetic flux collectors and flux concentrators on either side of the sensor array. The flux collectors collect a magnetic flux that has been written to a portion of pipe. The flux concentrators intensify the flux to improve measurements of the flux that are acquired by the sensor array.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a processing device configured to receive, from a given multi-path input-output driver of a given one of a plurality of host devices that utilizes a given piece of software for controlling delivery of input-output operations to a storage system over selected ones of a plurality of paths through a network, an access authorization check request for the given piece of software in response to expiration of a designated access authorization refresh interval, wherein authorization to access software code of the given piece of software is provided by an access authorization server external to the plurality of host devices. The processing device is also configured to determine an access authorization status of the given multi-path input-output driver. Abstract: A vehicle system including a vehicle component and a controller is provided. The controller may selectively activate the vehicle component and communicate with a mobile unit including an interface. The controller may be programmed to interact with the mobile unit upon detection by accessing vehicle sleep mode instructions preprogrammed by a user via the interface in which the controller activates the vehicle component according to an escalation sequence schedule to disengage a vehicle sleep mode. The system may further include a sensor in communication with the vehicle component and the controller. The controller may be further programed to activate the vehicle component according to the escalation sequence schedule based on receipt of a signal from a sensor indicating a passenger is asleep.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for fusing bones of the human body. The apparatus comprises a bone plate which generally is a member having one or more fixation apertures, configured to receive fasteners, and an insert aperture. The bone plate comprises a semi-rigid material, such as a biocompatible metal or Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), possessing a tensile strength suitable for immobilizing bones. A convertible insert is configured to be retained within the insert aperture. The convertible insert is configured to optimally direct a fastener towards a chosen point of purchase for fixating or compressing bones. In some embodiments, the insert is configured to direct a fastener at an oblique angle relative to a plane of the fusion plate. In some embodiments, the insert is configured to direct a fastener at a substantially right angle relative to the fusion plate.
