  • Patent number: 11417343
Abstract: A speaker identification system (“system”) automatically assigns a speaker to voiced segments in a call. The system identifies one or more speakers in a call using one or more speaker-identification parameters. The system processes the call to determine one or more speaker-identification parameters, such as a transcript of the call, a facial image of the speaker, a scene image, which is an image of a scene in which the speaker is located during the call, or textual data associated with the call such as names of the speaker or an organization that are retrieved from the scene images or video data of the call. The system analyzes one or more of the speaker-identification parameters and determines the identity of the speaker. The system then identifies the voice segments associated with the identified speaker and marks the voice segments with the identity of the speaker.

  • Patent number: 11415086
Abstract: Three-port latching valves have a housing with a first port, a second port, and a third port in controlled fluid communication with one another by three, individually electronically controllable magnetically latching valves for a combination of five different flow options. Each valve has a solenoid with an armature movable between an open position and a closed position, a poppet valve connected to the armature, a permanent magnet fixedly seated at a position for magnetically latching the armature in the open position, and a spring positioned to bias the poppet valve closed when the armature is in the closed position. The spring has a pre-selected spring rate that mechanically relieves pressure if the spring rate is exceeded. The armature is movable to the open position after a pulse of voltage to the solenoid and is in an unpowered state after translation to either of the open position or the closed position.

  • Patent number: 11418630
Abstract: Embodiments discussed herein refer to systems, methods, and circuits for managing and establishing contactless communications lanes between two contactlessly coupled systems. A contactless communication lane can be formed for each coupled pair of contactless communication units existing in the two systems. A contactless communications interface can enable software-defined connectivity that manages use of the contactless communication data lanes to enable data communications according to a selected one of a plurality of communications interfaces. The contactless communications interface may serve as a protocol translator and virtualization layer for enabling higher level software such as an operating system of a first system to communicate with a second system without requiring interface protocol specific hardware and software. This advantageously simplifies hardware and software components needed to simultaneously service a multitude of interface protocols.

  • Patent number: 11418429
Abstract: A route anomaly detection and remediation system analyzes a prefix for each route received to validate the route. A route monitoring component provides a centralized querying system for all routers from all devices to study routing history. A route collection component receives and stores all routes from multiple routers at a server. A set of microservice analysis components performs prefix analysis on each received route. Each microservice analysis component analyzes one or more portions of the prefix for each route to detect hijacked routes, leaked routes, withdrawn routes and/or other unhealthy routes before the routes are utilized for routing traffic on the network. The analysis performs new prefix validation and identifies healthy routes. Alerts identifying invalid routes are transmitted to an incident management system. Healthy routes are approved for usage by routers on the network to prevent network outages while improving network reliability, availability and stability.

  • Patent number: 11417111
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and scanning systems for photonically detecting an object of high-interest having selective wavelength reflection. Various embodiments include sequentially scanning the environment by projecting a coherent pulsed electromagnetic beam of light of a first wavelength. Reflected light of the first coherent beam is received onto a photoelectric detector, which outputs digital intensity data. Various embodiments further include sequentially scanning the environment by projecting a coherent pulsed electromagnetic beam of light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength. Reflected light of the second coherent beam is received onto a photoelectric detector, which outputs digital intensity data. The intensity of the reflected light of the first wavelength may be compared with the intensity reflected light of the second wavelength, and an alert may be sent to an autonomous vehicle system in response to the intensity difference exceeding a threshold.

  • Patent number: 11414081
Abstract: A powertrain includes a transmission having an input shaft, an output shaft, and a plurality of clutches engageable in various combinations to establish varying power flow paths between the input and output shafts. A controller is programmed to, responsive to a shift of the transmission: reduce torque capacity of an off-going one of the clutches and increase torque capacity of an oncoming one of the clutches during a torque transfer phase of the shift, and, in response to an inertia phase of the shift, continue to command non-zero torque capacity to the off-going clutch such that the off-going clutch brakes the output shaft throughout an entire duration of the inertia phase.

  • Patent number: 11417183
Abstract: Techniques for cable-free indoor gunshot detection are disclosed. Acoustic information is collected within an indoor environment using a gunshot sensor device which uses cable-free communication to a network. The gunshot sensor device is powered by a battery. Infrared information from the muzzle flash of a firearm is collected using the gunshot sensor device. The infrared information is buffered within the gunshot sensor device. The gunshot sensor device is used to monitor the acoustic information and identify a high-intensity gunshot sound. The gunshot sensor device is used to match the high-intensity gunshot sound to the buffered infrared information. The matching includes making a correspondence between the gunshot sound and an infrared event that occurred in time before the gunshot sound. The gunshot sensor device is used to notify the network of a possible gunshot occurrence, based on an analysis of the high-intensity gunshot sound and the infrared event that was matched.
