Abstract: A system or method may be used to perform image processing. An example method may include extracting a plurality of sub-images corresponding to a plurality of regions of an image. A rating classification may be generated, using a machine learning trained model, for each of the plurality of sub-images, for example including a no-rating classification for at least one sub-image of the plurality of sub-images. The method may include creating, using the rating classification for each of the plurality of sub-images, a color map overlay of a grayscale image corresponding to the image. The color map overlay may include colors corresponding to respective rating classifications for the plurality of regions or a region without a color corresponding to the at least one sub-image having the no-rating classification. The method may include outputting the color map overlaid on the grayscale image.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided to authenticate a user. The computer-implemented method includes obtaining, at an authentication server, a current location and an associated time from a client device of the user over a communications network; determining, by a hardware processor, a location score based on a correlation between the current location and the associated time and a historical location and a historical time that are associated with the client device of the user; determining, by the hardware processor, a risk assessment score based on the location score; and providing, over the communications network, an authentication verification for the user to perform one or more actions with an online resource based on the risk assessment score.
Abstract: Analyzing or debugging applications is provided. The system identifies an action for an application provided by a developer. The system determines a first classification score based on historical execution of the action. The system generates a machine generated action for the application based on metadata associated with the application. The system determines a second classification score based on a comparison of the action with the machine generated action. The system selects, via a matching program, a second application that matches the application. The system determines a third classification score based on a comparison of an action approved for the second application with the action provided by the application developer. The system updates a delivery control parameter based on the first classification score, the second classification score and the third classification score. The system controls delivery of the application based on the delivery control parameter.
Abstract: Implementations relate to various techniques for resource efficient interactions with data corresponding to a physical parcel (already created or yet to be created) that is to be delivered to a recipient by a courier entity. Some of those implementations relate to techniques to enable access, by the recipient, of interior content data of the physical parcel. Some additional or alternative implementations relate to techniques to enable resource efficient storage and/or access to data related to a physical parcel, while enabling interaction(s) with the physical parcel by various disparate entities to be tracked and while maintaining appropriate access control to such data.

Abstract: A backlight device includes a first surface and a second surface that is opposite to the first surface. The backlight device is configured to emit light in a first optical band through the second surface toward a display panel of a head-mounted display (HMD). The display panel is configured to convert the light from the backlight device to image light. The backlight device is transparent to light in a second optical band that is different than the first optical band. An eye tracking system illuminates an eyebox with light in the second optical band. A camera assembly positioned adjacent to the first surface of the backlight device. The camera assembly is configured to capture images of the eye in the second optical band through the backlight device, the display panel. The eye tracking system determines eye tracking information based at least in part on the captured images.

Abstract: A locking system securing an image scanning device to a container includes a first and second compressible material. A first securing plate is disposed between the first and second compressible materials, while a second securing plate is adjacent to the second compressible material on a surface opposite a surface of the second compressible material that is adjacent to the first securing plate. A ball is disposed within curved edges of the first and second securing plates, where the curved edges each curve away from the second compressible material. A shaft extends from the ball to the image scanning device. A fastener is secured through the first and second securing plates, and into the securing surface to lock the ball, and subsequently the shaft and image scanning device, in place. The locking system can be secured to a pitched surface to naturally position the image scanning device perpendicular to level ground.

Abstract: An circuit includes a first inductive coil and a second inductive coil each including a plurality of metal traces. The first and second inductive coils are each configured to receive a first signal from an electromagnetic field and generate respective first and second output voltages. Each of the first inductive coil and the second inductive coil are configured to inductively couple to the electromagnetic field. A first circuit element is configured to receive the first output voltage and generate a first response at a first power level of the first output voltage. A second circuit element is configured to receive the second output voltage and transition to an active state to perform one or more functions when the second output voltage exceeds a second power level. The first and second power levels are related to movement of the first and second inductive coils through the electromagnetic field.
Abstract: An engine includes a block defining at least one cylinder and a cylinder head received on the block. The cylinder includes a casting defining an exhaust port in fluid communication with the cylinder and an integrated exhaust manifold. The integrated exhaust manifold has an exhaust runner defined by the casting and extending from the exhaust port to an outlet defined on an outer surface of the casting. The casting includes a protrusion extending into the exhaust runner such that a raised dimple is disposed on a sidewall of the exhaust runner. The casting further defines a sensor bore extending towards the protrusion such that the sensor bore and the protrusion have a common centerline. A temperature sensor is disposed in the sensor bore and has a sensing element arranged in proximity to the protrusion such that the sensing element reads a temperature of the protrusion.
Abstract: An apparatus, method, system and computer-readable medium are provided for preserving an encryption of data when confronted by an attack, such as a side channel analysis (SCA) attack based on a statistical analysis. In some embodiments, hardware, software, and/or firmware associated with an encryption calculation may be exercised or accessed during a background operation when an actual or real operation is not taking place. During the background operation, dummy values for data and one or more keys may be input to the hardware. A switching between the real operation and the background operation may take place seamlessly such that measurement of a physical characteristic associated with the hardware is indistinguishable in terms of when the real and background operations are active. In this manner, the secrecy of a key used in connection with the real operation may be preserved.
