Abstract: A wireless device receives message(s) comprising configuration parameters of cells comprising a first secondary cell. The wireless device may receive a downlink transport block comprising MAC CE(s) indicating activation of the first secondary cell. A MAC CE, in the MAC CE(s), may comprise a first field with a first value indicating triggering transmission of reference signal(s) that are used in activation of the first secondary cell. The wireless device may activate the first secondary cell based on the reference signal(s).

Abstract: An elastic integrally formed windshield retaining clip includes walls defining a frame channel to receive and retain a portion of an upright windshield frame, and walls defining a pane channel to receive and retain a portion of an edge of a windshield while the portion of the upright windshield frame is retained in the frame channel. The frame channel not only surrounds three sides of a windshield frame, but also surrounds the majority of the fourth side of the frame. Angled walls exert pressure against the retained edge of the windshield and the frame.

Abstract: An optical assembly provides dispersion control, modelocking, spectral filtering, and/or the like in a laser cavity. For example, the optical assembly may comprise a diffraction grating pair arranged to temporally and spatially disperse a beam on a forward pass through the optical assembly, a reflective device at an end of the optical assembly, and a focusing optic arranged to create a beam waist at the reflective device. The beam waist created at the reflective device may cause the beam to be inverted on a reverse pass through the optical assembly, and a temporal dispersion and a spatial dispersion of the beam may be doubled on the reverse pass through the optical assembly to form a temporally and spatially dispersed output from the optical assembly.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing dynamic lighting are provided. In an exemplary aspect, one or more characteristics of light provided from a lighting device or a group of lighting devices changes over time to shape the environment of an indoor space according to dynamic lighting instructions. Dynamic lighting may improve the health or wellbeing of individuals in an indoor space, for example, by simulating an outdoor environment to reduce stress, by providing circadian entrainment to improve sleep and wakefulness, or the like. Other aspects of the present disclosure enable lighting devices to provide light that is synchronized with one or more other devices and does not significantly drift over time so that the lighting devices can provide seamless dynamic lighting experiences that shape the environment of an indoor space.

Abstract: Text messages are used to interact with objects in a spreadsheet. For example, text messages may be used to enter/receive data in the spreadsheet. One or more text messages may be associated with a spreadsheet. Text messages may be associated with cells, tables, charts and other objects of the spreadsheet. When the spreadsheet receives a text message, the text message is parsed and information that is contained within the text message is used to interact with one or more objects within the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet may also generate and send text messages that provide information about the spreadsheet and/or request information to be entered within the spreadsheet. For example, the spreadsheet may send out an update of one or more values/objects within a spreadsheet and/or send a request within a text message requesting information to update a table.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. For example, the processing circuitry decodes prediction information of a current block in a picture from a coded video bitstream, and determines, based on an intra block copy (IBC) prediction mode usage flag from the decoded prediction information, an IBC prediction mode that is separate from an inter prediction mode and an intra prediction mode. Further, the processing circuitry determines, a block vector that points to a reference area in the picture in response to the determination of the IBC prediction mode, and reconstructs the current block based on reference samples within the reference area in the picture.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus performs a method of customizing a standard face of an avatar in a game using a two-dimensional (2D) facial image of a real-life person that includes: identifying a set of real-life keypoints in the 2D facial image; transforming the set of real-life keypoints into a set of game-style keypoints associated with the avatar in the game; generating a set of control parameters of the standard face of the avatar in the game by applying the set of game-style keypoints to a keypoint to parameter (K2P) neural network model; and deforming the standard face of the avatar in the game based on the set of control parameters, wherein the deformed face of the avatar has the facial features of the 2D facial image.

Abstract: Base station antennas are provided that include a first array of radiating elements that is configured to form a first antenna beam that has a first downtilt angle in response to a first RF signal that is input at the first RF port and a second array of radiating elements that is configured to form a second antenna beam that has a second downtilt angle in response to a second RF signal that is input at the second RF port. The second downtilt angle is less than the first downtilt angle. The first antenna beam is configured to only provide coverage to users within a first portion of a coverage area of the base station antenna that is close to the base station antenna and the second antenna beam is configured to provide coverage to users within a second portion of the coverage area that extends farther from the base station antenna than does the first portion.

Abstract: An authentication system accesses an image of a face of a user. The face of the user is partially covered by a facial mask. The authentication system detects an area on the facial mask and generates a first identification of the user based on the area on the facial mask. The authentication system also detects an exposed area uncovered by the facial mask on the face of the user and generates a second identification of the user based on the exposed area. The authentication system compares the first identification of the user with the second identification of the user, and authenticates the user based on the comparison.

Abstract: An articulation mechanism for large scale mobile aggregate system equipment. The mechanism includes a screw device that is pivotally secured to an elongated portion of the equipment to drive its movement to and from a collapsed position. The screw device is driven by a screw jack and moved within a housing while the housing itself is pivotally secured to another portion of the equipment. Rollers within the housing may be used to stabilize the lateral movement of the screw device during the opening, closing or self-locking of the elongated portion by the mechanism.

The boot process controller receives signed communications from the UEFI controller and determines if the UEFI controller is authorized to manage the OS. The UEFI controller manages the OS in response to a positive authorization. The boot process controller determines if the UEFI controller is authorized to manage the OS in response to installation or execution of the OS. The UEFI controller receives a signed communication from the boot loader program, compares the signed communications with the plurality of application identifiers, and executes the boot loader program in response to the pre-loaded signed certificate matching an application identifier from the plurality.

Abstract: A gain fiber assembly for use in optical fiber amplification systems such as fiber amplifiers and fiber lasers utilizes an active or “bare” fiber that has a single glass cladding with an outer diameter of less is less than 80 ?m and preferably less than 60 ?m or even 40 ?m. A passive double-clad input fiber is stripped of the outer cladding and tapered to match the outer diameter of the bare fiber. A glass-fluid or glass-vacuum interface along the taper provides guidance of the pump into and along the cladding of the bare fiber and a NA>1 for a vacuum or gasses and an NA>0.8 for liquids. This allows for much shorter fiber lengths to reach max signal power and higher pump conversion efficiencies.

The processor may query the database for a list of all destination addresses which were attempted to be contacted for each Client Id and generate metadata for each Client Id. The processor may analyze each Client Id, the associated metadata for each Client Id, and the destination addresses associated with each Client Id using one or more rules in a device identification tree and assign a device label to each Client Id of the one or more devices.
