Abstract: A receptacle is depicted. The receptacle can provide two rows of terminals to increase the density of the interface. If desired, a connector positioned in the receptacle can omit the use of a housing, even if the receptacle provides a stacked connector configuration. With the use of various airflow features it is possible to cool inserted plug modules that use more than 6 watts and potentially more than 8 watts of power.

Abstract: A ventilator includes a ventilation drive configured to drive ventilation gas from a gas source to a patient and a patient interface section configured to guide inspiratory gas from the ventilation drive to a patient connection, receive expiratory gas from the patient connection, and expel the expiratory gas out of the ventilator. The ventilation drive and patient interface section are configured to removably connect to at least one host comprising a ventilation path portion so as to divert the inspiratory gas through the ventilation path portion of the host when connected thereto.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to corn dry-milling, and more specifically, to methods for producing a high protein corn meal from a whole stillage byproduct produced in a corn dry-milling process for making ethanol and a system therefore. In one embodiment, a method for producing a high protein corn meal from a whole stillage byproduct includes, in a corn dry-milling process for making ethanol, separating the whole stillage byproduct into an insoluble solids portion and a thin stillage portion. The thin stillage portion is separated into a protein portion and a water soluble solids portion. Next, the protein portion is dewatered then dried to define a high protein corn meal that includes at least 40 wt % protein on a dry basis.

Abstract: A secure analysis system for analyzing a sample is disclosed. The system includes an analyzer configured to create a measurement of the sample, create a data record of the measurement, encrypt the data record to form an encrypted data file, and provide the encrypted data file. The system also includes a server communicatively coupled to the analyzer and configured to receive the encrypted data file, store the encrypted data file, retrieve at least one of an encrypted algorithm, an encrypted parameter, and a portion of an encrypted library. The server is also configured to retrieve an encryption key, decrypt at least one of the data file, the algorithm, the parameter, and the library portion using the key, analyze the measurement, and provide a result.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable products for estimating one or more performance characteristics associated with a routing path of an optical fiber. A visual image of a routed fiber is obtained. The visual image is mapped to generate a tracer curve that estimates the routing path. The tracer curve is analyzed to determine one or more characteristics of a fiber routed along the routing path, such as a failure probability over a period of time or a signal loss due to bends in the fiber.
