  • Patent number: 11405338
Abstract: In certain embodiments, document-based resolution of user inquiries may be facilitated. A predicted intent of the user is determined based on chat activity information associated with the user. A response to a user inquiry may be provided to the user via a chat interface based on the predicted intent. User response may be obtained for the response, which may indicate a failure in providing a resolution to the user (e.g., regarding a user inquiry). Upon detecting a failure in providing the resolution, a document associated with the user and matching the predicted intent may be obtained and presented to via the chat interface. The document may have content related to the predicted intent. The document may be presented as a response to the user response to seek a confirmation from the user regarding its relevance to the user inquiry.

  • Patent number: 11405797
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for streamlined cell activation in a wireless network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide enhanced wireless services which utilize bandwidth-efficient setup/configuration messaging and cell activation, including for very large numbers of cells, and which do not overwhelm data backhaul(s) associated with wireless nodes used for communication. In one embodiment, a message protocol is used wherein a prescribed number of cells of a given DU (e.g., all, a prescribed subset, etc.) are activated without having to enumerate or include specific data relating to the cells being activated. In one variant, this “global” activation is conducted using an Activate All Cells IE (Information Element) disposed with the F1SETUP RESPONSE message issued by a controlling CU entity within a 5G-NR infrastructure. In other variants, cells of multiple DUs can be controlled simultaneously, such as via distribution of a system-wide global activation IE.

  • Patent number: 11402472
Abstract: A light detection and ranging (LiDAR) system includes light emitters that emit beams of light of substantially equal intensities. The light emitters form a beam polarization pattern with beams having varying polarizations. The LiDAR system also will include a receiver to receive light reflected from the object. An analyzer will determine characteristic differences between the beam polarization pattern of the beams emitted toward the object and an intensity pattern of the light reflected from the object, determine a reflection position that is associated with the light reflected from the object, and use the determined characteristic differences to determine whether the reflection position is a position of the object or a position of a ghost.

The first segment comprises a first set of trenches exposing the underlying layer. In the masking phase, a second segment of the amorphous mask is formed on the underlying layer. The second segment comprises a second set of trenches exposing the underlying layer. The segments are non-overlapping. An open end of one of the first set of trenches faces an open end of one of the second set of trenches, but the ends are separated by a portion of the amorphous mask. In a semiconductor growth phase, semiconductor material is grown, by selective area growth, in the first and second sets of trenches to form first and second sub-networks of nanowires on the underlying layer.
