  • Patent number: 11392410
Abstract: Operand pool instruction reservation clustering in a scheduler circuit in a processor is disclosed. The scheduler circuit includes a plurality of operand pool reservation circuits each having an assigned number of source operands for an instruction stored that must be ready before the instruction is issued. Instructions having the same number of source operands that are not yet ready for its issuance can be stored in an operand pool reservation circuit having the same assigned number of source operands. In this manner, the number of reservation entries and associated comparator circuits in the clustered scheduler circuit is distributed among the plurality of operand pool reservation circuits to avoid or reduce an increase in the number of scheduling path connections and complexity in each reservation circuit. This can avoid or reduce an increase in scheduling latency for a given number of reservation entries in the clustered scheduler circuit.

  • Patent number: 11394925
Abstract: A system provides automated transitions between presenters of a communication session. During a meeting, a system can provide a user interface that includes a primary presenter region configured to display a rendering of a presenter and the presenter's shared content. The user interface can also provide an audience region, which may include a number of individual video streams of audience members arranged in virtual environment. When the system determines that an individual audience member raises their hand, the system generates a graphical notification indicating that the person raised their hand. The system can also automatically add that individual audience member to a presenter queue. When the first presenter completes their presentation, the system can automatically transition the user listed in the presenter queue to the primary presenter region or a secondary presenter region. The system can also automatically change permissions for users that initiate a transition to a presenter role.

  • Patent number: 11393182
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and computer-readable media for data band selection using machine learning. In some implementations, image data comprising information for each of multiple wavelength bands is obtained. A multi-layer neural network is trained using the image data to perform one or more classification or regression tasks. A proper subset of the wavelength bands is selected based on parameters of a layer of the trained multi-layer neural network, where the parameters were determined through training of the multi-layer neural network using the image data. Output is provided indicating that the selected wavelength bands are selected for the one or more classification or regression tasks.

  • Patent number: 11394121
Abstract: A nonplanar tracking tag includes a nonplanar complementary patch antenna having an antenna ground plane, a first antenna patch lying in a first plane forming a first angle with the antenna ground plane, and a second antenna patch lying in a second plane forming a second angle with the antenna ground plane. The patch antenna may be formed on a flexible circuit and electrically coupled to a transceiver. The tracking tag may also include a dielectric material shaped and sized to position the first and second antenna patches, when the flexible circuit is wrapped around the dielectric material, in the first and second planes. Advantageously, the radiation pattern produced by the nonplanar complementary patch antenna is biased away from a normal axis of the tracking tag, and therefore can communicate efficiently with receivers when the tracking tag is oriented with its normal axis pointing away from the receivers.

  • Patent number: 11392122
Abstract: The technology relates to assisting large self-driving vehicles, such as cargo vehicles, as they maneuver towards and/or park at a destination facility. This may include a given vehicle transitioning between different autonomous driving modes. Such a vehicles may be permitted to drive in a fully autonomous mode on certain roadways for the majority of a trip, but may need to change to a partially autonomous mode on other roadways or when entering or leaving a destination facility such as a warehouse, depot or service center. Large vehicles such as cargo truck may have limited room to maneuver in and park at the destination, which may also prevent operation in a fully autonomous mode. Here, information from the destination facility and/or a remote assistance service can be employed to aid in real-time semi-autonomous maneuvering.
