Abstract: A method generates a compressed video that is consistent across different devices. The method comprises identifying an output bitrate. The method further comprises parsing parameters of an input video. The method further comprises generating a blank video with a fixed duration based on the parameters of the input video. The method further comprises generating a representative video based on providing the blank video as input to a decoder. The method further comprises determining a request bitrate for the representative video and the output bitrate. The method further comprises compressing the input video using the request bitrate to generate an actual video.

Abstract: A system for generating a secure communication channel interface, the system including a computing device configured to initiate a secure communication channel interface between a user client device and the computing device, wherein the secure communication channel interface includes an audiovisual capture device; establish by the computing device, a security baseline parameter within the secure communication channel interface; wherein establishing the security baseline parameter includes transmitting to the user client device a configuration packet uniquely identifying the computing device; receiving from the user client device, a confirmation authenticating the configuration packet; establishing a communication exchange as a function of authenticating the configuration packet; detect a change in security as a function of the security baseline parameter; and execute a mitigation action to prevent a security breach.

Abstract: A trust verification system for automatically verify an integrity of an object across multiple operating system (OS) platforms. The trust verification system features package verification logic, catalog verification logic, and component verification logic. The package verification logic recovers, from an incoming package, (i) an object, (ii) a catalog including identifiers associated with software component(s) forming the object and representation(s) associated with each of the software component(s), and (iii) a representation of the catalog. The catalog verification logic is configured to verify an integrity of the catalog while the component verification logic is configured to verify an integrity of software component(s) associated with the object.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to overhead door assemblies and operating systems. Disclosed herein is a drive drum that is compatible across a variety of overhead door types, including, for example, standard lift doors, vertical lift doors, and high lift doors. The drive drum of the present disclosure comprises a first cable groove section and a second cable groove section, opposite the first cable groove section, wherein at least one of the first cable groove section or the second cable groove section is in a non-linear graduated arrangement.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a ballistic helmet that includes a helmet shell and a harness connected to the helmet shell. The helmet shell includes a front portion and a rear portion. The harness includes a nape pad, a tensioner disposed on the nape pad, more than one securement strap, and a tension cable. The more than one securement strap is connected to the nape pad and is configured to fasten to the rear portion of the helmet shell. The tension cable is selectively adjustable by the tensioner and is configured to fasten to the front portion of the helmet shell.

Abstract: Techniques for determining relevant electronic content in response to queries is disclosed. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the techniques may be realized as a computer implemented method for determining relevant electronic content in response to a query. The method may comprise: receiving a query from a user device; categorizing the query to identify one or more relevant electronic content sources; formatting the query according to one or more electronic content source specifics for the one or more electronic content sources; transmitting the formatted query to the one or more electronic content sources; merging results in response to the formatted query to the one or more electronic content sources; merging results based at least in part on one or more factors; and formatting the results for delivering to the user device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing emergency assistance includes receiving audio, visual, or text data about an ongoing emergency at a public safety answering point, comparing that data to a database of other emergencies with an artificial intelligence engine, recognizing patterns in aggregated and correlated data by the artificial intelligence engine, and generating appropriate audio, visual, and text output for a human operator to respond to the emergency. An AI engine receives audio data, visual data, and text data related to ongoing emergencies being received at public safety answering points and compares it with data from other emergencies. The AI engine identifies key words and patterns and generates appropriate messages for operators. The system continuously generates feedback to the AI engine to aid in machine learning. The feedback includes: “the message was correct; continue drawing this conclusion”; and “the message was wrong; do not continue drawing this conclusion.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to automatic weight calculation and determination of unassigned variables within an entity. More specifically, the present disclosure provides a display of automatically calculated weights for unassigned content mapped to an animation token in an animation set. For example, based on a user input of content without an assigned weight, the animation application may automatically calculate the unassigned weight (and any other unassigned weights for content mapped to an animation token). The automatically calculated unassigned weights may then be displayed without any additional user input along with an indication of automatic calculation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-based system for identifying supply chain risks and generating supply chain graphs representing an interconnected network of entities. An industrial graph database application is configured to account for direct and indirect (transitive) supplier risk and importance, based on a weighted set of measures: criticality, replaceability, centrality and distance. A graph-based model serves as an interactive and visual supply chain risk and importance explorer. A supply network is induced from textual data by applying text mining techniques to news stories and used to populate the supply chain/graph database.

Abstract: A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform facilitating display of instructions to a user interface of a mobile device of a user on how to rotate a medication package in front of a camera of the mobile device to capture a video of a rotated view of a non-planar surface of the medication package; capturing, using the camera, the video of the rotated view of the non-planar surface; generating, using an input pre-processing algorithm, a series of images from the video; recognizing, using an output post-processing algorithm, respective words from the respective machine-readable text data; merging, using a merging algorithm, the respective words from the images to create lines of text; and extracting, using a machine learning algorithm, prescription data associated with prescription data fields from the lines of text. Abstract: Techniques involve receiving a write request for writing metadata of a file system into a solid state disk having a multi-level cell, and then caching the to-be-written metadata into a memory. The techniques further involve sequentially writing the cached metadata into the solid state disk by redirect-on-write. Accordingly, there is a file system implemented for properties of a solid state disk having a multi-level cell. Such techniques are able to provide completely sequential write of metadata of the file system by supporting redirect-on-write, thereby reducing the write amplification of the solid state disk and improving the performance of the file system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a rotor for a molten metal pump and a molten metal pump including the rotor. The rotor has a main body and a top comprised of a material that is at least twice as hard as the main body. The top, among other things, may form a first portion of each rotor blade wherein the first portion directs molten metal into a pump chamber or other structure in which the rotor is mounted.

Abstract: A method for placement of a head-up display (HUD) is provided, including: rendering a view of a virtual environment for display to a user; tracking a gaze of the user as the user engages in interactivity with the view of the virtual environment, wherein tracking the gaze of the user generates gaze data, the gaze data identifying locations within the view that the gaze of the user is directed towards during the interactivity; using the gaze data to determine a preferred location for positioning of a HUD in the view; positioning the HUD in the view at the preferred location.

A representative rocket propulsion system includes a rocket engine having an exhaust nozzle, a seal plate carried by the exhaust nozzle, and a seal engaged with the seal plate. The seal includes at least one support, multiple pivotable first flaps, carried by the at least one support and positioned to contact the seal plate, and multiple pivotable second flaps, with an individual second flap positioned to shield a corresponding individual first flap. At least one forcing element is operatively coupled to at least one of the individual first flap or the individual second flap, to apply a pivoting force to the at least one of the individual first flap or the individual second flap.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein provides a system for allowing users to login into one or more devices without a password. Implementations of the system include one or more biometric data collection devices (shoe, glasses, watch) and a device configured to store one or more user identification data, receive a request for user verification, request user's biometric data from one or more of the biometric data collection devices, generate a personal unclonable function (PUF) value based on combination of at least one of the user identification data and the user's biometric data, and verify the user's identity by comparing the PUF value to the user's PUF benchmark.
