Abstract: An automatic timed watering planter comprising an inner container with a flange at a top edge and an outer container with a ledge recessed below a top edge upon which the inner container is supported above a water holding space. A battery operated pump with a programmable control unit for an automatic timer is connected to tubing branches which are connected to symmetrically spaced water ports in the flange. Symmetrically spaced posts on the ledge are received in apertures in the flange outboard of the water ports and secured with a clip having a front side with a nozzle outlet connected to one of the tubing branches and rear side with a lip adapted to snap-fit on a bead along a top edge of the outer container.

Abstract: To manage configuration, a UE receives, by processing hardware and from a radio access network (RAN), conditional configuration information including (i) a conditional configuration related to a base station operating in the RAN, and (ii) a condition to be satisfied before the UE applies the configuration (702). The UE receives, by the processing hardware and from the RAN, a message including an indication that the UE is to add, modify, or release a radio bearer (RB) (704), and determines, by the processing hardware, to ignore the conditional configuration in response to receiving the message (706).

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a nodal network. The method includes estimating an effect on the objective caused by the existence or non-existence of a direct connection between a pair of nodes and changing a structure of the nodal network based at least in part on the estimate of the effect. A nodal network includes a strict partially ordered set, a weighted directed acyclic graph, an artificial neural network, and/or a layered feed-forward neural network.

Abstract: The method includes first defining a reservoir within at least one first housing, the reservoir having a first part and a second part and being configured to contain a pre-vapor formulation, second defining at least one channel that is configured to communicate the pre-vapor formulation from the first part to the second part, third defining an airflow path within the at least one first housing, and first configuring a heater that is fluid permeable to heat and at least partially vaporize the pre-vapor formulation, the heater being on an end of the second part, the heater having a first surface that faces the first part, a first portion of the first surface being in direct communication with a second portion of the airflow path.

Abstract: The present application relates to a BBQ oven, comprising an oven, a loading container and a mixing unit. The loading container is arranged on the oven, having a loading inlet on the top and a discharge outlet at the bottom; the mixing unit includes a mixing driver positioned on the side wall of the loading container and a mixer connected to the mixing driver. The BBQ oven requires no manual turning to prevent fuel arching as the mixing unit consisting of the mixing driver and the mixer connected to the mixing driver can mix and split fuel being arched by turning of the mixer driven by the mixing driver, and thereby reduces the labor work intensity.

Abstract: Disclosed are various examples and embodiments of systems, devices, components and methods configured to treat a patient using a compact implantable neurostimulator and corresponding lead(s) that are shaped, sized and configured to be implanted beneath a patient's skin in the head or neck, and to stimulate one or more target cranial nerves. The one or more medical electrical leads comprising electrode(s) are positioned adjacent to, in contact with, or in operative positional relationship to, the one or more target cranial nerves of the patient. In some embodiments, electrical stimulation is provided to the one or more target cranial nerve(s) of the patient for periods of time ranging between 30 and 60 minutes, once or twice per day. In some embodiments, power is provided to the implantable neurostimulator transcutaneously by inductive, wireless, RF, acoustic, microwave, or other suitable non-invasive means.

Abstract: A detachable camera assembly is securable to a cooking tool by means of magnets on a lower surface. The housing is offset from the cooking tool by the magnets and a shroud extends between a camera opening and the cooking tool with a seal at the end of the shroud. A fan draws air into the housing and expels part of the air through the shroud. A part of the air also flows through openings for allowing light to exit the housing from LEDs mounted within the housing. A controller within the housing captures and transmits images responsive to instructions received using a wireless transceiver.

Abstract: In a method of facilitating encrypted communications between a transmitting system having a unique identifier and a receiving system, a key generation system generates at least one encryption master key for use with the unique identifier and an encryption algorithm to produce a transmitting system-unique encryption key. The key generation system also generates a shared secret master key for use with the unique identifier and a second encryption algorithm to produce a shared secret value. The at least one encryption master key and the shared secret master key are then stored in an encryption information database. The key generation system transmits the at least one encryption master key and shared secret information to the transmitting system and transmits the at least one encryption master key, the shared secret master key and the unique identifier to the receiving data processing system.

Abstract: The systems, methods and apparatuses described herein provide a virtual integrated circuit card (ICC). In one aspect, a method of creating a virtual ICC may be provided. The method may comprise obtaining executable code configured to run on a user device to facilitate financial transactions, preparing a first encryption key usable by the executable code, receiving a second encryption key associated with the user device, forming a virtual ICC comprising the executable code and the first encryption key, and encrypting the virtual ICC with the second encryption key. In another aspect, a virtual ICC may be embodied on a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The virtual ICC may comprise executable code configured to run on a user device to facilitate financial transactions and a first encryption key usable by the executable code. The virtual ICC may be encrypted using a second encryption key associated with the user device.

Abstract: Sensor-based privacy-event detection for a mounted electronic device is described. In aspects, a security system includes a head assembly removably and magnetically coupled to a mounting device having a magnet. The electronic device also includes a camera module and a sensor disposed within the housing. The sensor detects a magnetic field associated with the magnet when the head assembly is coupled to the mounting device. When a user detaches the head assembly from the mounting device (e.g., to recharge the electronic device), the sensor no longer detects the magnetic field and determines the occurrence of a privacy event, which is used to deactivate the camera module to prevent unintentional recordings during the privacy event.

Abstract: A method for calibrating a hard drive having a heat-assisted magnetic recording head is provided. The method includes performing, across an increasing temperature ramp, a first set of write/read operations using the head, performing, across a decreasing temperature ramp, a second set of write/read operations using the head, generating performance data associated with the head based on the first set of write/read operations and the second set of write/read operations, calculating a comparison value based on the performance data associated with the head and performance data associated with a plurality of heads, and adjusting an operating parameter value of the head based on the comparison value exceeding a threshold, the adjusted operating parameter reducing a likelihood that a laser of the head will exhibit write instability.

Abstract: A system for assisting in aligning a vehicle for hitching with a trailer includes a vehicle steering system, a detection system outputting a signal including scene data of an area to a rear of the vehicle, and a controller that controls the vehicle steering system to maneuver the vehicle according to an initial alignment maneuver that positions the vehicle relative to the trailer, such that the trailer is within the area to the rear of the vehicle. The controller further receives the scene data and identifies the trailer within the area to the rear of the vehicle, derives a backing path to align a hitch ball mounted on the vehicle to a coupler of the trailer, and controls the vehicle steering system to maneuver the vehicle including reversing along the backing path.

Abstract: A billboard framework system may have a plurality of lateral adjusters adapted to be laterally adjustable on poles. The system may also have at least one frame support attached to some of the plurality of lateral adjusters where each of the frame supports may be co-planar with one another. The system may also have a generally rectangular-shaped frame structure connected to the frame supports where the frame structure is coplanar. The frame structure may have two side portions connecting an upper portion and a lower portion.

Abstract: A multi-fluid injector system and methods of operation thereof are presented. One embodiment of such a fluid injector system includes an automatic refill procedure for a fluid injector system comprising a fluid injector and an operably engaged syringe. The procedure includes the step of determining, using an electronic control device operably controlling the fluid injector system, whether a fluid injection procedure involving the syringe is impending. If the electronic control device determines that the fluid injection procedure is not impending, such that the automatic refill will not interfere with the fluid injection procedure, an automatic refill of the syringe is initiated.
